“It's fine son, you'll always have our support. We have never loved you less than we loved your siblings, right Nancy?” Simon agreed, glancing at his wife.
“Yeah, we love you deeply. And yes, you have our blessings” Nancy concluded.
With that, Jimmy was pleased. He would be announcing it to the entire family by dinner time. He kissed his mom's temple and hugged his dad briefly before stepping out.
“I don't know why,but my motherly instincts tell me something isn't right? Jimmy's emergency wedding has something else to it” Nancy wearily blurted.
“Maybe Magda is pregnant,” Simon suspected. Jimmy is his son too. He knows about his existence from the first day his wife knew she was pregnant.
“It's not the pregnancy. She'd been pregnant for a while now, but it's something that has to do with fear. Is he afraid of something?” Nancy's weary hands found Simon's and held it tightly.
