Seeing that Jessica was playing with her cutleries, Patrick chuckled. Looks like he'd talk too much. That's why he preferred to be quiet than talking because he might go overboard.
Jessica swallowed hard. He is jealous that Adrian got him an apartment. He wants to be the one to do it. Hadn't she put a shackle on her feet now,by getting involved with the brothers?
Having a crush on one and sleeping with the other. Only one knows that she's involved with them both. What if Adrian gets to know that his brother fucked her?

For the rest of the meal they didn't say anything. When they were through, Patrick paid with his limitless card and they got into the car. Just then, his phone chirped.
Seeing his mom was calling, he answered the phone “Hello mom” he greeted, getting his seat belt strapped over his body.
“Guess who I met today, a childhood friend of mine. And she's also got a very beautiful daughter. I already arranged for a blind date for you both tonight by 7 pm…” Luna Wesley informed.
“Oh no mom..” Patrick paused, massaging his temple. There she goes eventually, arranging a blind date “I'm busy mom, I will think of honouring it next time” he turned it down.
“Don't make me lose face, son. Just do it for mummy please” Luna coaxed her son. If he shows any slight interest in her, she'll ensure she encourages her son on a real date.
“Aw.. alright, I'll try but just this once” Patrick had a change of mind. But it's going to be the last time just as it's the first. He doesn't want her to lose face like she requested.
“Don't be so quick to decide that” Luna chimed and hung up. It worked. She hopes it works out between them. The lady in question is not the daughter of her friend.
She'd spent so many years in prison not to remember having friends anymore. Though vindicated and compensated, Luna still feels left behind in the society.
She'd met the lady in one of her recent outings with Richard. It's no news that they're seen together in public and he's so fond and happy with her to those who are privileged to get a little closer to them.
She'd liked the lady and they've got talking. She told her he would want her to meet her son and that's how they came up with the idea of a blind date.
When Patrick hung up, he glanced at his side, at Jessica sitting at the copilot seat and sighed softly. For the rest of the drive back to the company, they didn't say anything to each other.
When they arrived at the company, a few employees saw him walk over, held the car for Jessica and she stepped out. He knew gossip was going to go viral soon and he somehow wanted it so.
Jessica kicked against it so that she could open the door herself but he insisted that she sit down while he did it. Now, they've seen them and Jessica would definitely have a few admirers and of course some envious stares henceforth.
When Jessica got back to the office, it wasn't long before Lena came to find her in her office. At first, Jessica thought she had come to deliver a message but she waited and when she didn't hear her say anything, she glanced up from her desk.
She was surprised and very soon, she started laughing. Lena was acting before her and she was good at it.
Lena held both of her ears and wore a pitiful face, her eyes looking down like a child that was being scolded.
“What is it Lena?” Jessica asked. She'd laughed and Lena kept holding her ears. She only glanced up at her but didn't stop acting pitiful.
“I'm sorry about earlier. I'm really sorry, please forgive me” Lena apologized. She didn't know she was the boss’ woman and was telling her indirectly not to cross her boundaries like the previous manager.
“Forgive you, for what?” Jessica asked, confused at why she was apologising to an offence she doesn't know about.
“I didn't realise that you are the boss' woman. I was wrong earlier, talking about boundaries and all of that…” Lena explained as sincerely as she could. She would learn to keep her advice to herself henceforth and only give it to those who come asking for it.
Jessica laughed again. “You're mistaken. I'm not his woman, I'm his brother's. I'm in love with his brother and he's just fulfilling…” Jessica suddenly paused, she didn't realize he was standing by the entrance and heard her words.
Lena perceived his presence and together with Jessica's sudden pause, she turned abruptly and almost bumped into him. She froze, when did he start walking around like a cat whose steps cannot be heard.
“Yeah…I'll…get back to my desk…”Lena stuttered as she walked out of the door shivering. When did the CEO's secretary become a cheap gossip?
Jessica became confused but she maintained composure. She didn't expect him to step in nor did she realise he was already in while she went on blabbing.
“Sir, do you need anything?” She asked, putting on a forced smile despite her cheeks flushed with redness. She's blushing and she wishes that he just turned around and left immediately.
“How many times have Adrian fucked you before and after I slept with you?” Patrick demanded, his teeth gnashing against each other in rage.
He must control his tempers, he shouldn't let it take a hold of his reasoning.
Jessica's temple went blank. Fucked Adrian? That's never going to happen ever. He's happy and only loves someone else and now, it's clear and obvious.
“I won't repeat myself the third time. How many times have you slept with my brother?” Patrick bellowed.
“I would like you to respect the margin between work and private life. You can't barge in here and ask me things that are unrelated to my job description and expect me to give you an answer.
And I would request that you don't barge into my office next time. You should use the proper channel. You'll have to excuse me, I have work to do” Jessica scowled.
“Are you showing me the door out of your office?” Patrick bellowed. Insolent act! She's ordering him to leave her office, the very office he assigned to her that same morning?
“Yes, I'm ordering you to leave or I leave instead. But I'm going to tell Adrian what happened between us and don't think I don't know that you fell apart because of Aurora Blake.
I hope you will be able to absorb his fury when he gets to know that you're always after his women and even made love to me to humiliate him…” Jessica threatened.
“Are you threatening me?” Patrick seethed, his palm formed into a fist.
Yes, I am threatening you. Tell me what you can do about it?” Jessica dared him.
