Aurora was speechless.
Jimmy locked Magda up? What's wrong? The duo are deeply in love with each other and they're expected to be an amazing couple. What went wrong, and to know that Magda is pregnant?
She knows her brothers too much, they love their women. Santiago and Jimmy are men that she could recommended and referred to in love.
Whatever Magda has done, to have provoked Jimmy to take such drastic steps, without considering her condition, must definitely have gotten to his bottle neck.
“Mom, calm down. You're not going to lose another grandchild. We lost Dominic, but I know that Santiago and Charlotte will give the family another child soon.
And we're going to have Jimmy and Magda's baby as well. Don't get unnecessarily stressed out about that. But then tell me mom, was it just a little weird behavior that made Jimmy do something so outrageous or there's something else that you're not telling?” Aurora demanded, still logically thinking what indeed went wrong.
Aurora waited but it took a few seconds before her mother could answer. “Magda suddenly started provoking everyone in the family, using her tongue in saying things we could never have imagined.
But then, let's leave that in the past. All I want you to do is to talk to your brother. I'm getting impatient and Magda could do something really scary to herself.
Please, just have a word with Jimmy, that's all” Nancy requested. How can she bring herself to tell Aurora the horrible words Magda said to her, to Santiago and Charlotte and to her father.
She's the only chess available at her disposal. She's never going to say anything that would make Aurora mad with Magda at the moment.
Whatever she'd done, cannot be quantified with the punishment of being locked up in house arrest. This is too much for a pregnant woman.
“Okay mom, I'll talk to Jimmy” Aurora agreed. But she sighed deeply. There is more than what Mom just said casually. Magda has crossed Jimmy and his military personality has taken over.
But while Nancy was on the phone, something had happened. No one knows but soon, a car honk was heard as it drove away from the vast compound of the Blakes mansion.
Nancy squinted. She glanced through the window and then gave a shrug. One of the chauffeurs might have been instructed to bring a car.
When Aurora called Jimmy, the latter insisted that no one should interfere with whatever decision he'd taken about Magda's freedom.
No amount of persuasion and pleading can change anything. It's better she assumed that the conversation didn't exist and hung up.
Few hours later, Jimmy received an alert on his phone. The hospital bill was forwarded to him and he glanced at it.
He glanced at it over and over again. Such an exorbitant rate for a hospital bill? Was anyone sick in the mansion and couldn't get treated in the family hospital?
He called the hospital and the receptionist answered the phone. Without formalities, Jimmy went straight to the question “I got debited from my account and it's from your hospital. It's tagged hospital bills…”
“Hello. My name is Sophia from Hillside hospital in X-city. Give me your details sir. I'll check quickly.
Jimmy dropped his name and within seconds, the receptionist explained “Your wife asked that we send the bills to you after the evacuation was successful…” she was reporting when Jimmy interrupted her.
“You shut the crap and tell me who the motherfucker used my card? I'm going to sue your damn fucking hospital for fraud, and I'll send your damn hospital to extinction…” Jimmy was cursing.
How on earth did his limitless card end up in the hands of a fraudster? He needed to call his financial instruction to freeze his account.
And that's exactly what he did. He has his account frozen and was going to get his lawyer to do something about the hospital when he received a call from home.
It's his mom. “Hell no, not now mom” he grumbled. He has serious matters at hand to attend to and his mom was going to tell him for the hundredth time to let Magda free.
In the Blake's mansion, a servant rushed towards Nancy to inform her that while doing her chores, she stumbled on second master Jimmy's room and found it open.
She doesn't know if the madam is still in. After all, everyone in the mansion knows that Mrs Magda is not allowed out of her room for days now.
Nancy stood up quickly. That's what she'd been trying to make Jimmy understand. He shouldn't lock a pregnant woman up. When she arrived at the room, she saw how skillfully the lock was destroyed.
How on earth could Magda do this? Has she served jail terms before to know such a horrible way of unlocking herself? What the heck has she done?
Escaped. Magda has escaped from the mansion. Then she remembered the swift car that honked away a while ago and a fresh rumination filled her displeased heart.
In the office, Jimmy silenced the phone and picked up his other phone, to call when his mom called again. “Oh mom” he grumbled aloud in displeasure.
“Jimmy, something has gone wrong” Nancy hurriedly said in a shaking voice as soon as Jimmy answered the phone.
Jimmy furrowed his brow. What might have happened at home?
“Calm down mom and tell me what happened?” Jimmy declared. The tone with which his mom was talking was terrifying.
But as a military officer, even if the situation appears terrifying, he needs to maintain composure and act brave. A composed mind can make swift and sensible decisions and actions.
“Magda broke the lock and…” Nancy trailed off.
