CIARA
At the office was Gerald standing close to the window with a view of the drive in at the office, both his hands tuck into his pocket while he was staring blankly at the view, his expression was deep, dark and sad, one that I have never seen with him before.
"Gerald hi, how are you doing today?" I ask with a bright smile on my face, I was in a good mood and wasn't ready to let anything ruin it.
"I am good." He replied but even from behind, I could tell that he was not fine.
"Gerald is everything alright, why do you look so moody?"
"How was last night Ciara?"
"Last night, what is that suppose to mean?"
"I came over to your place last night and I saw the both of you, he had his hands around your body kissing you like he owns you."
"Gerald what you saw was....."
"Ciara how could you, how could you forget so soon all that you had to go through in his hands, this man brutalized you, he traumatized you and turn you into a lunatic, just because he says that he is sorry and you are so quick to forget all that happened."
"He is the father of my Son, I can't keep fighting him forever."
"Really! Because that was not the words you said to me few days ago when he took over the company, you were so miserable and vow to make his life pathetic but here he is and have you wrapped under his arm."
I could feel the anger fueling inside of him, Gerald has never been this angry before especially towards me, but now his eyes were bloodshot red that they sent shiver down my spine.
"Gerald I love him and no matter what he does to me, I can't take that feeling away."
"What about me Ciara, what am I suppose to do with everything that I am feeling inside, you know my feelings for you and you understand the length that I am ready to go for you, I was there for you during those hard times when you had no one to help you run the business."
"I know Gerald..."
"No you do not, so let me jungle your brain, when you were sick and needed someone to see to run the affairs of the company, it was I that was there for you, when you had to soak your bed with tears all night, I was the one who took you out and cheered you up, I went out of my way just to make you happy, Ciara I sacrifice my entire life for you."
"I know what you feel for me Gerald but you know that it has always been Ryan whom my heart belongs to." He scoffs sarcastically, his head lowered and with a dismissive wave, he stormed out of there.
I was suddenly feeling down and guilty knowing that my best friend was not happy with this new love that I found, but there was nothing that I could do, because my heart belongs to Ryan and even if I try harder, I couldn't be with him.
Once Ryan finally arrived at the office, I scurried into his office and shut the door once I was inside but he immediately clasped me in his arm and kiss me passionately.
"Hi wifey... I woke up this morning but you were not next to me, the only one that I met was the scrumptious meal that you prepared."
"You did a lot of work last night, and I guessed that you will be hungry this morning." I bit my lips while I flirt with him and his lips immediately trail around my neck down to my collarbone, but I stopped him from going further.
"What is it?" He asked seeing that my expression had change.
"I spoke to Gerald when I arrived this morning and it turned out that he had seen the both of us last night, he was so pissed expressing his feelings for me and I do not know how to go about this."
"Are you considering leaving me for him?"
"Come on Ryan, you know what I am talking about, he is my best friend and I do not like the fact that he is angry with me."
"There is nothing that you can do about it babe, I believe that he will come around soon."
"I do not think that is the case, because he was so furious when he left, how about you speak to him as a man and see if you can sort out things with him."
"Ciara I do not think that is a good idea because it is me that he hates and not you, just let it slide, he is going to come around, if he truly is your friend then there is no way that he is going to stay mad at you forever, now come here."
He tuck me to his side and began to smudge kisses at me on those soft spot, I knew that he was trying to take my mind off things and he was doing a good job at it.
I moan softly, my hands grabbing onto his head grimly like my life depended on it, a knock came through which I could tell was mary and he immediately pulled away from me, I could not help but feel silly seeing the red lipstick on his face, but I wasn't going to wipe it, that Mary could burn with jealousy.
"So do you want to come over to my place tonight or your place?"
"My place will be better because we do not have to worry about your mom walking up on us." I explained and a silly smirk appeared on his lips as I walked away, brushing Mary who was at the door on my way out.
Chpater 182
CIARA
It was weekend, and I was planning on going over to Ryan's place and spending the entire weekend there, where we could have much fun as possible, I had planned out everything that going to happen and the possible places we could go and have fun.
I drive back home hoping to get my things ready but there was a parcel on my door, slowly I move close to it and thought that if was from work because I had turned off my phone hoping to get away from it and concentrate on my family for the weekend so I picked up the parcel and headed inside.
Once I was inside the house, I placed it on the table and decided not to open it until after I was back from the weekend.
I took my bath and glammed up in a blue jean trouser and pink crop top, stepped out of the living room, I noticed the parcel and decided to open it up, it was a parcel after all, and I had to be curious about it content.
Slowly I unfurl the parcel and what I was holding in my hand made me froze in terror. It was a picture of Ryan and Anne all wrapped together in the most romantic way ever.
I could feel my heart tightened while wondering if this was an old picture or a new one or why anyone would even consider sending something as awful as this to me.
Without wasting much time, I grabbed my car keys and sped out of the house straight for Ryan's. I could not breath properly on my way there, my heart was racing fast so much questions that I could not answer, the terror that gripped me thinking that perhaps this was another heartbreak and when I got there, I confirmed my doubt.
I did not bother knocking at the door, swing past the door and stood right there was Anne. She was no longer the beauty she used to be, everything about her had change, there were visible wrinkles, dark circles around her eye lid, she looked more old and unkempt and without saying a word, I jumped onto her and dragged her hair.
Ryan was stunned at first but then I could clearly see that smug on his lips that he could not wipe out no matter how much he tried, he seemed excited that his woman was winning and I was doing a pretty good job at it, good thing that Herzl had gone to school.
With my breath high, I was pulling off her hair so forcefully, my hands yanking at her so hard that I could hear her groan in pain.
And despite how hard I had beaten the hell out of her, I did not stop, I kept beating her so hard until Ryan came over and held me, he was trying to stop me and that made me more furious. I slammed him hard on his face, his eyes widened and he seemed stunned that I was also attacking him.
"Don't you ever try to meddle in my affairs ever again else I am going to show you what a real woman is and not a gold digger like you!!"
I yelled at the top of my voice that I was certain the entire neighbors could hear me, but the thought of that did not make me stop. "The nerve of you to send those pictures to me because the next time that you ever try to pull such a stunt, I will make your life more miserable than it already is."
I warned and was about to leave when Ryan walks closer to me and expression of perplexity filled his entire face which made me even more furious.
"You Ryan are a worthless piece of trash that is not capable of keeping your manhood in your pant and you deserve no second chance, never!!" I yelled out at him and stormed out of the house, the air around there had become intense that even the birds in the sky had sensed my anger and flee away.

RYAN
I stood there confuse and in a state of daze trying to comprehend what just happened when I was finally excited that we had patch things up, out of nowhere, it get ruined again.
I swirl around to Anne and clutched onto her neck tightly that she could barely breathe.
"You worthless piece of trash! What is going on here, what have you said to my woman?" I asked furiously but there was a silly smirk spread across her lips, this was obviously her plan and she knew exactly what she was doing.
"Come on Ryan, there was never a time that the both of you were cut out for each other, not now and not forever" A disdainful laugh echoed from her lips, she was obviously enjoying the show despite the severe beating that she had just received.
"What game are you pulling here, speak to me Anne."
"There is nothing left to say to you, but as long as I live and breathe, the both of us are bond together."
Her words only made me more furious, I released my grip on her and she falls on the couch, yet she still had that satisfying look on her face that she had finally gotten what she wants.

FLASHBACK
My friend Edward whom I haven't seen in a while suddenly received a call from Anne and requested to see him, although he was stunned considering the relationship in the past and how things ended between the both of us, but decided to see her and understand her purpose of contacting him.
Anne met with Edward at a club, she was so emotional and went on her knees. "Edward please you need to help me speak to Ryan, I know how much I offended him and can't be at ease with this so much bad blood between the both of us."
She cried out and he sighed. "Look Anne, I am not Ryan, so I do not understand why you are coming to me for something like this, you should meet with him and apologize personally"
"That is what I intend doing, but I can only do that through your help, please help me get Ryan to come over to the club so I can apologize to him." She begged on her knees, Edward was in a tight spot here, had no choice but to agree to her request.
