RYAN
Seeing Ciara walk through that door with another man made my heart boil with rage, I was so sad and yet there wasn't much that I could do.
I got back into my car and sped off but on my way back home, there was so much thought going on through my mind, the thought of why Anne decided to come back now at such a timing when Ciara and I had just made up and how in the world did Gerald decide to come visiting, how was he aware that something terrible had happened.
There was so much that I could not comprehend so I drove back home and parked the car at the parking lot before walking inside, but when I twisted the door knob, I stopped as soon as I heard Anne's voice on the phone and immediately pulled away from the door.
"Hello Gerald, I can't comprehend how you would come up with such and impressive plan and how you were able to know that the plan would cause a thrift between the both of them, but it worked and I am glad you contacted me for this"
"Yeah I know fully well that Ciara can not stand another betrayal from him, he has betrayed her so much that she did not bother investigating and it turned out to be for our Good, great thing I was able to come up with this plan before they both moved in together else it would have been disastrous for the both of us"
"Yeah I know.... I had ruined the entire wealth that I acquired from him and had nowhere else to go, thanks to you and my game, he took me back in, now I am going take everything away from him and become the owner of everything that he worked for ".
"But whatever you chose to do, you should be very careful because the last thing that I need right now is for Ciara to figure out our plans and hate, hold Ryan for as long as possible because I know that soon she will be dancing to my tone"
Although Anne could not see his face while he expressed those words, but she could tell that a smirk had appeared on his lips, the call ended, but what Anne wasn't aware of was that I had recorded the entire call, good thing it was on speaker with Gerald's voice sounding out from the phone.
I swung the door open and Anne startled as she immediately pull the phone away but it was too late for her, I packed up the little belongings that she had come back to my house with and pushed her outside but she was perplexed as to why I was suddenly acting that way towards her.
"Ryan what are you doing!! Why are you suddenly acting so cruel towards me or did Ciara poison your mind again towards me?" She cried out, and if was a fool, I will fall for those tricks again.
"I wished that Ciara had poisoned my mind against you, that way I would have seen what a cruel human you are, I can't believe that I fell for your tricks again and looking at you right now, I am amazed at how stupid I was to have fallen for such a devious human like you."
"Ryan you are breaking my heart with this words that you speak, if there is something that I did which I haven't apologized about, then explain it to me and I will go on my knees and plead"
"I am sorry, but there is nothing that is ever going to come out of that mouth of yours I am believing, you planned all this with Gerald just so that Ciara could hate me, tell me, did you drug me on that night?"
Anne widened her eyes while trying to feign bewilment. "What are you talking about, I can be a lot of things, but I can't believe that you will accuse me of drugging you, why would I even think of such a thing?"
"Oh Yeah! You didn't do the thinking, it was all Gerald's plan because you are so dull to come up with such a plan, I heard everything that you said on phone and I have it recorded so there is nothing that you can say to deny it.
Anne immediately froze there, her mouth trembling while she thinks of what to say, but he immediately surged her out of the house and she fall to the ground, tears roll down her cheeks.
"I was wrong, I know that I was wrong and it was Gerald that decieved me and tricked me into this, but please forgive me, I beg of you Ryan, I am now a change person and once you accept me back into your life, you will see how I have changed, please just give me a chance one last time, I beg of you".
She begged, her eyes filled with tears, but there was no way that I was going to ever listen to anything else that she had to say, I was a fool for letting her trick me into coming back into my life without realizing that all this was a plot and this time around, I will make sure that I get my wife back and nothing is going to stand in my way.
I pushed her further out of the house, she could now see how determined I was and knew that there was no me changing my mind so she gently wipe a few strains of tears in her eyes and picked up her bag, surging towards the gate.
My heart was so heavy and filled with so much regret, just when things were beginning to work out between Ciara and I, I gave the enemies a chance, they came into our lives and try to ruin the joy that we found.
As soon as I went back inside the house, I did not hesitate as I brought out my phone and sent the record to Ciara hoping that she calls me once she receives it, but there was no word from her.
