RYAN
I drove over to Ciara's home after the words my mother said to me, it was obvious that I could not keep waiting for Ciara to reply the message she saw.
I arrived at Ciara's place, unlocked my seat belt and just then I saw her stormed out of the house and drove her car away. I was so curious as to why she was so furious and where she would go this late at night so I followed her.
It broke my heart to see that she had gone to Gerald that late at night, but when I could hear the voices arguing, I understood that it was about the record so I waited outside and listen to the drama unfold.
Soon after, Anne stepped out of the house furiously and left but the entire place had suddenly become quiet neither was Ciara coming out of the house. Something felt strange and not long after I could hear sounds of whimpering, he was obviously hurting her.
Without a second thought, I jumped out of my car and scurried into the house but came to a halt on a second thought just at the door, going in there alone was risky, there was no way I would know if he was armed or not, so I called the cops, inform them of the situation before slamming the door hard.
Ciara was filled with tears, but as soon as she saw me, there was relief in her eyes, for her it felt like all her problems were suddenly flushed away.
"Ryan! " She called as soon as I pushed Gerald to the ground and freed her from his grip, she ran over to me and embrace me tightly.
"How are you?" I wipe her tears while I ask and realize that this was a stupid question to ask in such a situation, Gerald got on his feet and surged towards me, his eyes filled with immerse rage. I dodged but as soon as I turned around, he picked up a vast and attempted to smash it on me but Ciara immediately intervened and we both whacked him so hard that he was in pain and few minutes later, the cops had arrive.
He was handcuffed but while dragged away, he had his stare piercing deep at me, but I held onto Ciara firmly, he was gone and we could finally be free.
Ciara breath was high, but I stare at her trying to calm down. "Breath Ciara, you are save now, everything is going to be fine"
"I am so sorry Ryan, I am so sorry that I did not believe you when you said you had nothing to do with Anne again, please forgive me."
"Shi..... It alright dear, it is not your fault but mine, I was so stupid to have let her in again thinking that all she came for was friendship and this has made me learn my lesson."
My lips met hers and as I kiss her so tenderly, I could feel her warmth, the true feeling of desire and longing that I always wanted and it made me realize that one needed to be in such a situation to understand their true worth.
I drove her back home and could not leave her alone, in my arms she laid on the bed, feeling satisfied while we went ahead to chat.
"How is herzl?" She ask.
"He is fine and getting along perfectly well with mother."
"Does he miss me or has he suddenly forgotten about me?"
"Of course he does misses you, he talks about you all the time and kept keeping a long face when I told him that we could not go for the weekend again."
"Aww.... I understand his pain, I also wanted us to go for that weekend, how about we do it next weekend, perhaps to somewhere far and have a lot of fun."
"That isn't a bad idea, I will make arrangements for that." I kiss her forehead with my hands stroking her hair. "I love you Ciara, so much that I do not want to lose you ever again."
"I love you too Ryan and being with Gerald in that room got me scared the thought that I was never going to see you ever again or what Gerald was capable of doing, it sent chill down my spine because I have always known him to be a quiet and loving man but right there, there was a flip in his mood everything changed and he was no longer the man that I use to know."
"Yeah, I was shocked to see him act like that but you know every man has a demon they battle with, he had to deal with his. Get some sleep dear, you have been through a lot."
She nodded and shut her eyes, a warm smile filled with satisfaction spread across her thin lips. When I was certain that she was fast asleep, I pulled away from her and slipped out of the bed where I hurried over to the kitchen to prepare something for her.
I made some herbal soup for her because she definitely went through a lot tonight before going back upstairs and with Ciara in my arms, I fed her the soup until I was certain that she was filled before according her some sleep.
