"W-What? All of a sudden?" He stuttered in confusion.
Amelia heaved a sigh. "It's not all of a sudden, Keiran, " She looked at the alpha. "I knew this would happen soon. You haven't marked her till now. Your bodies are forcing you to mate, "
"We decided to do the marking when she's in heat, " Keiran scratched the back of his neck, embarrassed at the situation he was in.
Amelia chuckled. "Well, that's a good thing. Evelyn is going through a lot of problems just because you haven't marked her yet, "
"Is that why she fainted? " The alpha raised a brow.
Amelia shook her head. "No, this is common for omegas before they go into heat. It's her body forcing her to take rest for the heat so she won't be worn out by the mating, "
"How long is she going to—"
"One or two days maximum. Don't worry, she'll be alright. Just take good care of her during this time. She'll probably want to sleep all the time but don't let her do that. Make sure she has eaten something and is hydrated. Give her a nice bath and comfortable bedding, " Amelia said to the alpha before taking some medicine from her pocket. "Give her this after dinner. It's herbal medicine. It'll help her to sleep. Her heat might start tomorrow or the day after so you have to be extra careful, "
"Her pheromones are going to be very strong now so take some medication so you don't go into rut before her heat arrives because it'll affect her badly if you lose control before it happens, " The doctor warned and Keiran nodded in understanding.
"Is that all? " The alpha questioned while taking the medicines from Amelia's hands.
"Yes, that's all. You can take her to your room. Just give her a nice bath because she's all sweaty now, "
"Okay, I'll do that, " Keiran nodded before he walked inside the room.
The omega was curled up in the bed, sleeping like a baby.
He slowly walked close to her and softly removed the blanket off her.
Evelyn whimpered, furrowing her eyebrows in irritation. She quickly calmed down when the alpha touched her and his scent engulfed her.
In a second, Evelyn was sticking to her mate like a leech, mumbling his name again and again.
Keiran embraced the omega and placed a soft kiss on her head.
It was cute.
"Oh, I forgot to mention that she'll be extremely needy during this period so you might not be able to stay away from her for long, " Amelia said suddenly.
Keiran shrugged. "That'll be okay I guess. I can manage that," He kissed the omega again before walking out of the clinic.
He is ready to give Evelyn whatever she wants.

Keiran took care of his mate diligently. He prepared her bath and made her eat and drink.
Evelyn on the other hand looked very exhausted. She just wanted to sleep all the time.
It was hard for Keiran to be around her because of the strong pheromones wafting off the omega.
He loved the scent but it was making him lose his mind. He felt like he was losing control.
Evelyn smelled sweet and alluring.
On the next day, the alpha woke up panting heavily. The room was full of omega pheromones. Keiran tried his best to control himself.
Evelyn needed rest.
He can't do it now.
He quickly got out of the room and went straight to his mother.
"Mom! "
Scarlett looked up from her newspaper as soon as she heard her son's desperate voice.
"Keiran? What happened? " She asked the breathless alpha in front of her.
"Evelyn is going into heat, " Keiran rubbed his temples.
"Yeah, I know that. But what's wrong? "
"Our room is filled with her pheromones. It's making me lose control, " The alpha sighed. "I need to take a break because I don't want to go into rut when she is resting,"
"Hmm… Do you want me to take care of her? " Scarlett gave her son a soft smile.
"Yeah, only for a few minutes. I need to meet the pack warriors and assign them their duties to do while I take care of Evelyn. I'll be back as soon as I can, " Keiran looked at his mother who ruffled his hair.
"Don't worry, I'll take good care of her while you're gone, "
"Thank you, mom, " He kissed his mother's cheek. "Prepare her a bath and give her something to eat if she wakes up before I come," He said before running back to freshen up.

Keiran left when the omega was sleeping otherwise Evelyn wouldn't have let him go.
He was extra careful when freshening up because he didn't want the omega's scent lingering on him.
Keiran's wolf was very possessive of his mate. He didn't like anyone else getting even a whiff of her scent.
The alpha sighed after he dismissed all the warriors after a long speech. He told them what to do and where to patrol.
The Hunter's attack had scared all the Pack members. He had to assure them that they're all safe before going to take care of his mate.
Keiran hurriedly walked towards his room. Evelyn must be up now.
He didn't want the omega to worry.
"Keiran! "
The alpha stumbled back with a gasp when suddenly something leaped towards him as soon as he entered the room. He wrapped his arm around it instinctively.
Keiran looked down wide-eyed at his mate who was clinging to him.
Evelyn lifted her head. Her teary green eyes met the alpha's wide blue ones.
"Y-You left me! " She said, her plump lips quivering.
Keiran was speechless. He gulped looking at the messed-up omega in his arms.
The sweet scent of her filled his nostrils again.
His eyes glowed red as all the things he could do to her flashed in his mind.
His wolf was going crazy.
