Calvin took a step back when he felt his mind being taken over. The beta huffed and fought for control but after a minute he had to give up.
Evelyn made him look at Rain who was hiding behind Scarlett. Calvin's wolf walked towards the boy, making Scarlett step to the side and reveal the surprised omega.
Rain gasped when the big wolf took a step closer and snuggled into the crook of his neck.
The omega giggled when his mate rubbed against his chest. He threaded his fingers through the beta's fur and patted the wolf's head.
"Evelyn, are you doing this? "
The question made Evelyn lose her grip on the beta's mind. "Ahh… yes, I couldn't control both of them...only Calvin, " She lied.
She could control them both but she only controlled Calvin.
Calvin stepped back immediately when he came back to his senses. He grunted when he realized what happened.
The beta looked at Keiran and Evelyn. He bowed before huffing and looking away.
Evelyn could feel that he didn't want to disrespect them but he wasn't happy with what just happened.
Rain's smile disappeared and now his face was full of worry. The boy was fiddling with his fingers while biting his lips.
"Rain, can you change into your wolf form? " Evelyn asked with a small smile. She wanted to cheer up the omega.
Rain looked up nervously. "M-Me? Why? I'm nothing special… "
"I'll decide that. I haven't seen your wolf form. I'm excited to see how an omega wolf looks like, "
"Oh…. Umm… D-Do I have to shift now? " Rain fiddled with his fingers.
"Do you not want to?" Evelyn tilted her head. "It's okay if you like—"
"No, I'm fine… I'll shift, " He said before glancing at Calvin's wolf.
"Take off your sweater, sweety. Otherwise, it will tear, " Scarlett said, causing Rain to bite his lips again.
He didn't want to take off his top. He didn't know how Calvin was going to react.
Rain was petite and pale. He was very insecure about his body. Calvin might think he's a freak.
His heart thumped in his chest like a drum as he fumbled with the hem of his sweater. The omega flinched when his mate nudged him suddenly. The beta softly bit on the boy's sweater and walked towards the woods, dragging the omega with him.
Calvin stopped when they both were behind a big tree. The tree blocked others from seeing them.
The beta let go of the boy's sweater and nudged him to shift.
Rain blushed at the gesture before he shyly took off his sweater.
He nervously glanced at Calvin to make sure he wasn't disgusted or uncomfortable by seeing him naked. Calvin showed no emotions. His wolf face was stoic as ever.
The omega took a deep breath before changing into his wolf form.
Rain's wolf was white as snow with ocean blue eyes. It would make anyone stop and stare.
But it was all useless because Calvin wasn't even interested in glancing in his direction.
The omega glanced at his mate who huffed and walked back to where everyone was.
Evelyn was eagerly waiting to see how Rain looked in his wolf form and she couldn't help the squeal that left her lips when she saw the omega step out into view.
"Oh my god, Rain! You're so pretty!" The girl awed as she ran towards him. "You look like cotton candy, " She giggled before hugging him close.
Rain rubbed his face on the girl's hands to show his affection.
"He's a soft baby, " Scarlett smiled and stepped forward. She patted the boy's head. "I always tell him that his wolf is beautiful but he wouldn't agree. He is too insecure, "
Calvin huffed, a little irritated before he stepped closer to his mate. He hovered over the omega while glaring at everyone else.
"Seems like his mate is a little jealous of us touching him, " Niya snickered from the back.
It was true.
Evelyn could feel it.
Calvin's wolf was annoyed by them touching his mate. This often happens with the newly found mates. They'll be too possessive. Evelyn remembered how Keiran used to get jealous like this.
"Can we test another one of your skills, Evelyn?" Niya asked as soon as the omega stepped back from Rain.
Keiran came close to his mate and nudged her softly, telling her to go on.
