Jake POV
"Why are you asking?" I asked. "Who are you again?"
"I am Steve. Well, I heard she got into a fight with your girlfriend, Mayra and some guys dragged her away. I thought you guys should know about this," Steve said.
Holy shit, so she was in trouble.
"If they hurt Jane, I swear to god," Aaron growled.
"Alright, no more fighting over her. We need to go get her. This girl is always getting in trouble," I shook my head.
Aaron nodded and grabbed Steve's shoulder. "Show us where they went. I can't wait to pound my fist into those assholes' faces."
Steve looked at us with a terrified expression on his face, but he nodded in agreement.
"How about we both date Jane and let her choose one of us?" I asked on our way upstairs.
"Seriously, Jake? You are going to talk about that now?" Aaron said irritably.
"Yes, what do you think?"
"Sure, whatever. Let's just focus on saving her for now," Aaron said.
And that's how we came to a decision.
"What do you mean both of you will date me now?" Jane stared at us with wide eyes, probably thinking we were out of our minds.
"I mean, you can date us both until you decide which one of us you like the best," Aaron said.
Jane's eyes were wide. Our preposterous proposal most likely mortified her. She looked at us back and forth to see if we were being serious. None of us were laughing. Aaron and I looked at each other to make sure we were still considering, and we both were.
"I am sorry, am I being punked?" she asked, still trying to process what just happened.
"Look, Janey, I like you a lot, and so does Aaron. And I also love my brother, so I don't want to fight him over this. So this is the only way," I said.
"Same. This way, you get to spend time with both of us and know for sure you like the most," Aaron said.
"You two are out of your mind! What about me? You can't just decide that for me! I am not some toy you get to pass around, you jerks," she cried.
She made a good point. We should've asked her first, but this was a spur of the moment decision.
"I am sorry, Jane, but we don't think of you as an object. We just both want a chance to be close to you. And both of us refuse to give up on you," Aaron looked at her intently.
"I know you like me, Jane, I don't care how many times you deny it, but I can see it in your eyes. So I'll wait till you admit it, then you'll be all mine," I said. I felt a spark when we kissed. It was electrifying. There was no way she could deny the attraction between us.
Jane looked like she was speechless. She probably can't fathom what kind of situation she was in.
"I didn't agree with Jake at first, but I feel like you like him too, but you also like me, so I'll use it as an opportunity to make you mine," Aaron said.
"But wouldn't you get jealous if I go out with Jake?" Jane pointed out.
"Of course, I will. But I'll get over it for now," Aaron said.
I was surprised that Aaron agreed with me. He could be quite possessive over girls.
"Same here. I get angry every time Aaron goes near you, but I'll leave it up to you on what you want to do," I said.
"I am going to scream," Jane breathed.
"If it makes you feel better, go ahead," I smirked.
"That is the dumbest thing I've ever heard, but I am too tired to deal with this now, so just take me home," Jane sighed.
"Yes ma'am!" Aaron smirked.
Aaron drove her home, and I followed them in the car so both of us could see her off. He was not stealing a goodnight kiss on my watch!
"I am sorry about what happened today, Jane. Are you sure you are okay?" Aaron asked gently.
She nodded. "Thank you for what you did for me. Both of you," she said and smiled. "Even though what you told me afterward was utterly insane.
"You are precious to me, Janey. One day I'll convince you that you are not just some girl I want to fuck," I said, meaning every word. I've had my eyes on her for a while, so I was not willing to let her go. Not after when there was a possibility of her to like me back. My heart flutters every time I see her.
Jane said goodbye to both of us and went inside.
"So what happens now?" Aaron asked me.
"We convince her who is the better brother," I smirked.
"It is obviously me, Jake. You scare her, remember?" Aaron chuckled. "I showed her what a gentleman I am. And you? All you did was give her your bullshit bad boy attitude."
"It's not too late to change that, so may the best man wins," I said, trying not to glare at him. Aaron was too cocky for his own good.
