Mated To The Alpha Quadruplets

Chapter 19

Ch. 19 / 76 Mar 09, 2026

Eliza’s POV

As Alpha Theron and I approached the grand packhouse, I couldn't help but feel a flutter of nervous anticipation. This was to be my new home, my sanctuary away from the cruelties of my old pack. Despite the Alpha's reassuring words, I still harboured a small kernel of doubt - what if the others didn't accept me as readily as he had?

Jasmine's calming presence washed over me. 'Have faith, Eliza. We are among true pack now.'

I clung to her wisdom, drawing strength from the bond we shared. If Alpha Theron believed in me, I could start believing in myself, too.

The packhouse loomed ahead, an impressive structure of stone and timbers that blended seamlessly with the forest surroundings. The closer we drew, the more I picked up the varied scents and energies of the wolves within - a melting pot of personalities united under one lunar force.

Alpha Theron must have sensed my trepidation. He offered me a kind smile as we approached the entrance. "Do not be afraid, Eliza. My pack will welcome you with open hearts and minds."

As if on cue, the heavy wooden doors swung open, and we stepped into a spacious foyer. Instantly, I was enveloped in the warmth and bustling energy of pack life. Wolves of all ages milled about, some rushing between tasks while others lounged together, basking in camaraderie.

It was so different from the stifling confines of the Creek pack den - there was life, vibrancy, acceptance emanating from every corner. I found myself captivated by the engaging scenes playing out before me.

"Alpha Theron has returned!" A young wolf's voice rang out, and suddenly, all eyes turned toward us.

A hush fell over the gathering as Alpha Theron gestured for me to step forward. "My pack, I present our newest member - Eliza of the White Fur. She has sought sanctuary with us, fleeing persecution from her former packmates. Let us welcome her into our fold with open embraces."

A chorus of greetings and well-wishes rippled through the crowd. I was stunned by the genuinely warm reception, their words and emotions embracing me like a soothing balm over old wounds.

"Welcome, Eliza!"

"The White Wolf, how extraordinary!"

"You're among family now, sister."

Tears pricked my eyes as I took in the kindness all around me. This...this was what I had been yearning for my whole life - true belonging.

A lithe she-wolf with striking azure eyes bounded over, a bright smile lighting up her features. "Eliza! It's so wonderful to meet you finally. I'm Maya." She wrapped me in an exuberant hug, which I tentatively returned.

As she pulled back, Maya's gaze sparkled with unabashed curiosity. "They call you the White Wolf - your fur is stunning! And your spirit animal is fascinating too, please you must tell me all about-"

"Maya, give the poor woman a moment to breathe," another feminine voice cut in with an exasperated chuckle. A tall, raven-haired beauty sauntered over, emerald eyes glinting with mischief. "You're overwhelming her with your endless questions."

Maya rolled her eyes good-naturedly. "As if you weren't dying to meet the legendary White Wolf too, Nisha."

I felt a flush rising to my cheeks at being so openly discussed, though there was no hint of malice behind their words - only genuine intrigue and warmth.

Nisha turned her piercing gaze on me, and I was struck by the fierce intelligence burning behind those emerald depths. "Don't mind Maya, she gets overexcited about every new thing. But she's right, we're thrilled to have you join us, Eliza." Her full lips curved into a slow, dimpled smile. "I look forward to getting to know the woman behind the rumours."

Something about Nisha's penetrating stare and confident demeanour both drew me in and set me slightly on edge. There was a spark of challenge glimmering in those green eyes.

Before I could respond, another girl approached - this one regarding me with poorly masked disdain. "So this is the famous White Wolf?" Her tone dripped with disdain as she looked me over appraisingly. "I must say, I'm unimpressed. She seems rather...plain to me."

Maya and Nisha both tensed, shooting reproachful looks at the disdainful she-wolf.

"Caia, don't be rude," Maya chided, putting a supportive arm around my shoulders. "Eliza has been through enough without your petty jealousies."

Caia tossed her red curls over one shoulder with a haughty sniff. "Jealous? Of what, her lack of sophistication? I merely call it like I see it." Her cold green eyes bored into me with undisguised hostility. "We'll see if she can truly keep up with the elite calibre of this pack."

A flush of anger and embarrassment flooded my cheeks at her sneering dismissal. After everything I'd endured, I had naively hoped to find complete acceptance here. But it seemed even in this sanctuary, there would be obstacles to overcome.

Nisha stepped forward, emerald eyes flashing dangerously. "That's enough, Caia. Need I remind you who evaluates the worth of our packmates?" She cut an intimidating figure, power radiating from her tall, lithe frame. "Your childish posturing is unbecoming, especially toward a member who has already suffered traumatic treatment elsewhere."

Caia opened her mouth - likely to unleash another biting remark - but seemed to think better of it at the last moment. With one more disdainful look in my direction, she turned on her heel and stalked off into the crowd.

"Ugh, I apologise for that miserable wench," Maya groaned, giving my arm a comforting squeeze. "Try not to take her nonsense to heart. Caia has always been jealous of anyone who outshines her beauty or status."

I attempted a weak smile, pushing down my hurt at Caia's scathing reception. "It's quite alright. Her opinion means little to me, truly."

Maya beamed back at me. "That's the spirit! Which reminds me - I must introduce you to Zara. She's our resident herbalist and healer. She'd love to learn more about your unique spiritual connection."

As if summoned, a petite but striking she-wolf with warm umber skin and intricate braids woven through her raven tresses appeared at Maya's side.

"You called?" She gave me a kind smile. "You must be Eliza. Maya has been practically vibrating with excitement about your arrival." Zara's gaze turned to assess but not unkindly as she looked me over. "Your energy...it's utterly captivating. Unlike anything I've felt before."

I couldn't help but shyly return her smile, her gentle demeanour putting me at ease. "That would be Jasmine, my spirit wolf companion."

Zara's eyes widened with delight. "A spirit companion? Truly? Oh, we must discuss this further. There are so few documented cases in our histories. But later," she added, no doubt sensing my slight overwhelm. "For now, let's allow you a chance to settle in, yes?"

"Speaking of settling," Nisha interjected silkily, "Maya and I should give Eliza a tour of the grounds. Can't have our newest packmate getting lost in the woods on her first night." She cut me a wink, the spark of challenge still dancing in her emerald gaze.

I found myself infinitely grateful for her intervention as Maya looped her arm through mine excitedly. "Wonderful idea! Just wait until you see the hot springs, Eliza. Pure blissful rejuvenation under the moonlight."

As they led me away toward the winding trails, I couldn't help but smile at the easy camaraderie between this trio of spirited, vibrant women. While Caia's antagonism had stung, it was overwhelmed by the genuine warmth and acceptance radiating from Maya, Zara and even the slightly roguish Nisha.

For the first time in my life, I had found not just a pack - but a collection of personalities who intrigued and invigorated me. Friends, perhaps, if I allowed myself to embrace this new world fully.

Jasmine's rumbling presence echoed my sentiments. 'See, Eliza? We have found our home at last amidst these spirited souls. Now is the time to bloom into the extraordinary wolf you were always destined to become.'
