Trapped by Him

Chapter 263

Ch. 261 / 398 Feb 22, 2026

Patrick's lips curved into a weird smile. He said, "Back then, you managed to escape to Waikiki Beach. Now, where are you going this time?"

Gloria's lips gradually turned pale, and she was still trembling.

A slender finger pressed against her trembling lips. Patrick smiled, "Three years ago, you escaped to Waikiki Beach. Now, you want to escape from me by killing yourself?"

Gloria didn't say anything, and a cold sweat broke out on her forehead.

Patrick was smiling, but his eyes were cold. "Gloria, I'm asking you. Where are you going to escape to this time? Answer me!"

Gloria looked away, not daring to meet his red eyes.

He suddenly grabbed her chin. "I'm asking you a question! Look at me! Where are you going?"

Patrick stared fiercely at Gloria. They were so close to each other, yet he felt she was far away from him.

He closed his eyes. "Gloria, well done!"

She wanted to escape from him even if she had to die!

"I'm telling you. Your life is mine. Without my permission, you can't escape from me even if you die!"

Gloria's face was completely pale.

Patrick bent down and carried her. "Come with me!"

"No!" Gloria refused.

"It is not up to you!" Patrick sneered and strode away with her in his arms.

The nurse stopped him. "Sir, you can't take her away."

Before she could finish her words, she was stopped by the pack guards.

Only then did Gloria see that Hank had returned to the country.

Seeing the determination on Patrick's face, she felt desperate. "Patrick! Let go!"

Her voice sounded hoarse and tired.

The response to her was a slight sneer and the pain and despair in Patrick's eyes.

There was madness in his eyes after despair.

The car sped on the road, and Hank was the driver. Gloria trembled slightly in the back seat.

Patrick held her tightly, and she could not move.

He trapped her in his arms with a livid face.

Cold sweat broke out on Hank's forehead, but he did not dare to wipe it.

It was as if he was not driving a couple, but a storm.

A cold aura enveloped Patrick.

Hank hated the fact that he was stuck with this couple.

Patrick was like a lion that was about to go crazy.

The car turned left at a traffic light. A cold voice rang out in the back seat. "Did I say we were going back to the villa?"

"Alpha Patrick, where are we going?" Hank was startled.

"Home," Patrick said indifferently.

Fortunately, Hank was smart enough. He did not ask more, turned the car around, and headed in another direction.

Gloria was silent all the way. Other than keeping silent, she could do nothing.

She did not know what Patrick was going to do to her.

The car drove toward the apartment building where they stayed before.

Gloria was trapped by his arm. In the underground parking lot, the car door opened, and she was dragged out.

Hank was still there. She didn't say a single word on the way just because she wanted to retain her so-called self-esteem and refused to admit defeat.

Gloria did not dare to think about what Patrick was trying to do.

They took the elevator to the floor where they used to live.

"I didn't bring the key." Gloria resisted instinctively. The door in front of her was so familiar, but she did not want to enter.

Patrick ignored her and took out the key.

Gloria's eyes widened and she couldn't help but tremble. This time, it wasn't because she was afraid, but because she was angry.

"Why do you have the key?" She asked in a low voice.

"It is my place." Patrick's tone was cold and sarcastic, causing Gloria to tremble even more.

She was so stupid. She actually believed that he would allow her to move out and live alone.

It was just one game after another.

"You want me to invite you into the house?" Patrick said coldly. He noticed the resistance deep in Gloria's eyes, and his other hand clenched in his pocket secretly.

He roared in his heart, 'Why does she want to leave me so badly?

This is our home. Why is she so reluctant to stay with me?'

Patrick felt hurt but his face was still cold.

The moment he entered the room, he squatted down habitually and was about to get slippers from the shoe cabinet. However, his hand paused the next second.

He stared at the shoe cabinet, which was empty.

Patrick closed his eyes. He stood up and carried Gloria on his shoulder without saying a word.

"Have you lost your mind?" Gloria asked angrily.

She struggled violently on his shoulder, yet she could not escape his grasp.

Patrick strode to the bedroom and placed her on the bed. He crossed his arms and stood in front of the bed, looking at her coldly.

"Please let me go. I beg you..."

"No way," Patrick interrupted firmly.

He looked down at Gloria coldly with a trace of pain in his eyes.

He said inwardly, 'Gloria, if I let you go, who will let me go?'

"I am tired..." Gloria was interrupted once again.

"Explain it to me. Why were you in the hospital? Why did you sign the donation agreement?" Patrick did not seem to be angry.

Gloria was stunned. "You should explain it first. Why are you monitoring me?"

"Monitoring you?" Patrick crossed his arms. She thought he was monitoring her. She knew nothing!

Suddenly, he clenched his fists, his eyes filled with anger.

"Harry is in a terrible situation." Gloria had nothing else to say.

"So you decide to sacrifice yourself?" Patrick sneered.

"I'll just donate bone marrow. I don't want to die either," Gloria said softly.

"Other people will be fine, but you are different. How can you know that nothing will go wrong? If something happens to you, I..." Patrick asked angrily and stopped abruptly.

His chest heaved violently. He thought, 'She did not care about anyone, including me!'

Patrick's deep eyes were filled with pain. He closed his eyes, so Gloria would not see it.

It was more despair than anger.

Gloria no longer cared about him.

Even if she knew about her physical condition and the potential risks that would befall her, she still chose to hide everything from him.

"He is my brother," Gloria said.

Patrick sneered and thought that Harry was not worthy of being her brother at all.

She shouldn't take the risk because of such a person.

"Gloria, say you love me," Patrick ordered overbearingly. As long as she said it, he would believe it and forget what happened today.

He needed her to say so.
