The Ruthless Alpha's Innocent Breeder

Chapter 59

Ch. 59 / 140 Jan 12, 2026

Eero’s perspective

Pacing in our room after I freshened up, I was torn between telling Claudius about my pregnancy before this day ended, or waiting a couple of more days until things between us settled down a little bit.

“Luna Eero, you're making my head spin,” Soleil commented.

“Soleil, will you help me make the decision? It's almost dinner time and I have to be in the dining room with Claudius. Should I tell him about my pregnancy?”

“It's the fifth time you are asking me the same question. I had said both yes and no to those questions, and you had your buts at both of it.”

“Where are you?” I stopped walking back and forth when I heard Claudius inside my head, talking with me through telepathy. “Dinner is served. You don't intend to make me wait for too long, right?”

I breathed out, and then opened the door with a loud thud before striding confidently downstairs.

“Have a seat. Dinner is getting cold, my love,” he said, glancing at Serra who had pulled the chair for me.

“Do you want me to cut that for you?” He asked, eyeing my rib-eye steak that I was struggling with with my knife.

“Let me do that for you, Eero—Luna Eero,” Serra stuttered.

Claudius quickly darted his eyes at Serra. I just shook my head at him, and then my eyes went back to the steak.

“It's rare, similar to how you like your steak, Luna,” Serra said.

But my appetite was totally gone when I saw the pinkish juices coming out of the meat.

“Take that away from me! It looks disgusting!” I shouted out of control.

Claudius stopped eating at my words.

“Why? What's the matter with your steak, Luna? Did I cook it the wrong way? S-Should I sear it more?” Serra asked in full-blown panicking.

“Just take it away from me—” The meaty aroma of the steak made my stomach churned.

Knowing that I was about to puke out and the comfort room was far from the dining table, I rushed to the sink, pushing Serra aside, which made her slump on the floor.

“Are you sick?” Claudius asked in a low voice, raking my back.

I rinsed my mouth before standing up straight to look at him.

“No, I'm not.”

“Is there something that you wish to tell me?” He asked again. I heard emergency bells in my head.

“No. What's there to tell you? I'm just fine. Everything is fine.” Disappointment flashed in his eyes.

I clutched my belly involuntarily and his eyes were pasted on it the whole time. I thought the Alpha would ask more questions, but he just let go of the topic and then guided me back to the dining table.

“Is there any food that you particularly have appetite for, Eero? Anything and I will have it served.”

“I think I'll call this a night, Alpha. I don't feel hungry for now.”

“Serra, help your Luna settle in her room,” he commanded my ex-sister.

“Will you be joining me in bed soon?”

“No, I think I'd spend the night in my office,” he said. And my heart shattered at his answer.

This was why I hesiated telling him about the baby. He was still mad at him.

“Congratulations on your pregnancy, Luna.” I quickly cocked my head back at the dining table to check if Claudius heard it.

His eyes were still focused on his food. I thought he didn't pick up those words.

“Serra, will you shut up?! I don't know how you knew out about my pregnancy… but if the Alpha finds out about it because of you, then I'm going to have you punished,” I spat at her before letting go of her arm.

“Eero...” She started again before I got into the bedroom. “I'm talking to you now as someone who used to be your sister. Please help me! Caspian is cheating on me!”

“Since when did you have a relationship with Caspian? How come? He doesn't even show a bit of interest in you.” I was totally clueless about her words.

“You know he is my mate. But his wolf is cheating on mine! He's sleeping with Soleil! I saw them! If he doesn't stop that, he will soon kill my wolf!”

“Cohen and your infidelity made my wolf suffer. I guess you're still not done paying for your karma, my sweet sister.” I looked at her hand clanged in my arm.

“Now let go of me if you're done. I'm not feeling well, and I need to rest.”

“Eero, please!!! Help me just this once. Didn't I pay enough? My parents abandoned me, I was raped, I become an omega now, and my mate would never acknowledge me.”

“Fine. I'll ask Caspian to properly reject you as his mate.”

“No!!! I want Caspian to accept me. You hold power over him. You can command him to accept me.” Serra begged.

I smirked at her and fixed her wild hair. “You're an omega. A sinful one. Why would I ask an honorable man to claim you as his mate? Caspian did no wrong to get punished—”

“You think someone claiming me as his mate is a form of punishment—” Serra was irritated by my words.

“A torture even! Enough of this conversation. I'll act as none of this happened. But if you dare to approach me as if we're on the same level again, I'll have you whipped in public.” I took a step away from her and smiled, but the anger in my eyes burnt.

“You should be thankful that I let you live, Serra. But don't go too far, or I might regret my decision!”
