The Alpha's Triangle

Chapter 86 ALAIA

Ch. 86 / 200 Jun 24, 2025

The moment Omega Lisa told about Zira leaving with Isaiah, I could feel myself get irritated. I knew he had to go to the doctors with her since she was getting close to birth, but that doesn’t mean I have to like it. The more time he spends with her, the closer they seem to become. No matter how many hurdles I throw their way, they seem to jump over them every time.

The only good thing was the poison I had Omega Lisa put in her drink. It started working a week ago. She’s been snapping at a lot of people lately, making it seem as if she was paranoid and crazy. It was exactly where I wanted her but I wanted more.

Later in the day Omega Lisa found out that Zira was having a boy. How she finds her information is very impressive and I was glad she was on my side. So Zira’s lucky enough to not only give Isaiah’s his first child but his first son, how fucking lucky. I had to get rid of her, but I couldn't when Isaiah is always here and her pestering little friend, Isabella. I needed to find a reason for both of them to leave. Then an idea came to me.

I decided to visit Nas and see how he was holding up. The moment I transported in the room, Nas had me up against the wall with a knife to my throat. My knife to be exact.

“Well, hello to you,” I said through my teeth and staring him in his eyes.

“Why would you show your face here,” he growled but I wasn't afraid.

“I don’t know what…”

He slammed me against the wall but I used magic to absorb the impact and to keep from being hurt. I didn’t need Isaiah searching for me now. “Don’t play with me, Alaia.”

“Fine. I came back to say I’m sorry about Frank. I didn't know my brother killed him until after the fact.”

Nas growled again at the mention of Frank and the knife moved deep enough to break skin.

“You brought him here to kill Frank?”

“No,” I yelled at him. “I brought him here to kill Mirja. I knew my mate and my brother came here and threatened your guys about the attack. My brother laughed at how easy it was to get past your security.” Something flashed in Nas’s eyes making me think he knew what I was referring to. “So to take the heat off your boys, I blamed everything on her.”

Nas searched my eyes to see if I was telling the truth. Though it was only half true, I knew I would be able to trick him.

“Why are you here,” he asked, loosening his hold on me a bit.

“To give you retribution. I don’t know if you notice but I don't care for my brother that much. So let me help you avenge Frank’s death. Blood for blood,” I said, hoping it won't take long to convince him.

Nas moved away from me which I was grateful for. I didn't realize how tense I felt with him near. He looked as if he was thinking over what I was saying.

I followed behind him to continue. “Look I know all of this sucks right now but you need to strike back. Who knows if he will come back with more people?”

Nas sat down in a chair watching me cautiously. “Do you think that scares me, sweetheart?”

I started to feel more people surrounding me and noticed a few rogues walking in. I refused to look scared.

“No, I don’t. Stupid? Maybe,” I said, walking closer to him while he growled at me.

I felt the energy in the room. They were all angry and all I had to do was direct that anger in the right direction.

“Two guys so far, Alaia,” Nas said. I don't think I ever noticed him saying my name before. “I’ve lost two guys dealing with you. I don't like losing my men.”

“Me neither,” I started while walking a bit closer to him. I could see his men mirroring my movement, so I stayed alert. “Look, I just want him to pay for what he did. Why else would I be stupid enough to come back? Let me help you.”

Nas laughed and if I wasn’t on alert, it would’ve turned me on but I kept my eyes on him and his guys. He got up and circled around me, lightly caressing my clothes with his fingers.

“Help me? I think you've done enough helping. So how about you leave before I lose my patience,” he said standing in front of me.

I stared into his eyes for a moment and realized he was serious. Well that pissed me off. I turned around and walked to a wall when my knife whizzed past my ear into the wall. I looked back at him while pulling my knife out of the wall. I opened a portal and before I went through, I turned to him.

“You’re going to go after my brother and you’re going to lose without my help. Then they’re going to come here, just so you know, and there’s going to be more than just two of your men in the ground.”

I moved to go through the portal when Nas grabbed my arm and pulled me back against him.

“If you screw me over…”

“I won’t!”

There were a few silent moments before Nas asked, “What did you have in mind?” I smiled as I turned around to look at him.

“I know that pack like the back of my hand. I can get your boys in and out with just enough time to cause some havoc.”

After the meeting with Nas, I headed to the kitchen when I caught my mate’s scent. I followed it towards the back porch where Omega Mary was standing. I noticed she was waving at someone. I looked and saw Isaiah disappear with Zira between the trees.

“Where are they going,” I asked Omega Mary while keeping my eye in the direction they were walking. Omega Mary jumped from my sudden appearance but didn't answer my question. I turned my gaze to her. “I asked you a question, Omega.”

“I…I…don't know, Luna. I just prepared the items Alpha asked of me,” Omega Mary said while backing away.

“Are you sure that’s all you know?” She nodded her head. “Argh! Then you’re useless,” I yelled at her. “Get out of my sight.”

I wanted to follow them but I didn't want to get caught. So I walked back to my office and pulled out the necklace Isabella gave Zira. It was the only left that was connected to her. I still had some power reserved from the last pull so a little hex spell might cause a ruckus. The moment I finished the spell, I walked over to the mirror to find her.

The mirror warped and I saw them together in the woods. They made it to a gorgeous open area by a waterfall. So this was their spot. Every now and again, Zira would pull away from Isaiah which made me feel better but he kept being nice to her. He was making this whole thing very difficult. I debated on hexing him but all my power had to be reserved only for her. It was the only way to get rid of her.

Then an idea popped into my mind. Maybe to break her I have to start with her strongest asset. NINA! Everytime I hold Nina back, Zira loses control even faster. I pulled the grimoire out and asked for something of that nature. I felt the drain on my body and watched as another bottle appeared.

From the smell I knew it was wolfbane. That should keep her wolf weak and at bay enough for me to get in. Now I needed to hide it somewhere natural. A knock at the door disrupted my thoughts. I hide the bottle and the grimoire before answering.

“Come in.”

The door opened and Isabella popped her head through. She saw me but started to sniff around.

“Are you okay,” I asked, watching her curiously.

She stopped sniffing and laughed. “Sorry, I just thought I smelled something familiar here. I can’t quite place it.”

“Well, I did redecorate for the holidays so the room might have a piney smell to it. Anyway can I help you with something,” I asked, wanting her to leave the room.

“Oh yes, sorry. So we're going to do a little movie night for Zira outside with popcorn, desserts, and maybe some tea. Do you want to come?”

Here’s an opportunity I thought. “Of course but tea is not seasonal. How about some homemade hot chocolate? I have a great family recipe,” I smiled.

“Well…” Isabella hesitated for a moment.

“Besides,” I interrupted while rubbing my belly, “your niece has been craving salty and sweet all day.”

Isabella looked at my belly with a smile. “In that case, it would be lovely. We’re going to finish setting up.”

“Great, I’ll be down in a second. Thanks, Isabella.”

When she left, I pulled out the little bottle of wolfbanes and put it in my pocket. I left my office and went towards the kitchen while linking Omega Lisa to meet me. Omega Lisa walked in and noticed the ingredients laid down before.

“Oh, no! More food. Do you know how many pounds I have to work off from eating Zira’s food, so she won’t throw it at me,” Omega Lisa whined.

I dismissed her complaint with the wave of my hand. “Don’t worry. You won’t have to eat anymore. Now it’s time for some old fashioned hot chocolate with a special ingredient for our mother to be.”

We started on homemade hot chocolate for everyone as I watched Isabella and the rest build their little movie theater outdoors. I felt Isaiah near so I rushed Omega Lisa to get the cups ready. Everyone had a different holiday cup.

That way I can control which one Zira gets. I coated Zira’s mug with wolfbane and used a bit of magic to cover it up. My vision started to blur and a sharp pain flared throughout my back, which means I was using too much right now.

“Hurry and prepare the cups,” I commanded Omega Lisa. “They’re here.”

Lisa got the cups all set and ready, and we made our way out to the back porch. When we walked outside my little hex was at its climax. Zira looked horrified, finding us all looking at her. She was probably humiliated. It was pure joy watching her yell at Isaiah but his reaction wasn't what I was expecting.

He was actually smiling. What the hell was he smiling at? I turn to see Isabella throw a snowball at Zira whose face twisted up in anger. I thought this was it. The wedge I wanted to create between the two but instead here’s my mate to the rescue. Retaliating to protect his dear friend.

An all out snowball fight started and I sat there furious at how things turned out. This was becoming a trend. After their little fun I had Omega Lisa serve the drinks. I watched as Zira sipped her gently and smiled at everybody. Don't worry, Zira. We will have our turn to have a little fun I thought before walking away.
