The Alpha's Mistress

Perfect

Ch. 35 / 70 May 07, 2026

Amia

That’ll teach you to play with a wolf.

Feeling victorious, I stuck my tongue out at him. His lips parted and I turned from him. I made my way around the sectional and bent over to lift the blankets. I ignored the way he groaned behind me. I don’t know what I was doing, but I know that I was playing with fire. I couldn’t stop though. I was winning and it felt good. I took a seat and ignored him.

I could feel his gaze on me as I pushed the blankets off and leaned back. I looked down as my shirt rode up my thigh. That was unintentional. Before I could reach for them, Levi was kneeled down in front of me. His hands on my t-shirt, he looked up at me and I down at him. There was something so sensual about this act. I wanted to look away, but couldn’t. Once again, I was held captive by Levi’s gaze.

I don’t know what I waited for, I don’t know what I wanted to happen. Levi cleared his throat and straightened his back. He got to his feet and stepped to the side. He turned from me and took a seat next to me. I swallowed.

What the fuck was that?

I had way too much shit going on in my life right now to be feeling like this. I shouldn’t even be thinking this way about Levi. Something was wrong with me and I needed to get myself together. I needed to be splashed with cold water. There was so many other things that my mind should have been focused on. I didn’t like it, but I couldn’t deny it. I was noticing Levi.

“Wanna grab these?” Levi asked.

I turned to look at him and found him holding a box of GOOBERS. I shrieked and snatched them from him. These were my favorite chocolates as a kid. I can’t believe he had these.

“Why do you have these? Did you start liking them?” I asked.

“No, I don’t like them,” Levi said.

“Then why do you have them?” I asked.

“I bought them because they reminded me of you,” Levi answered.

“Ah… oh,” I said awkwardly.

“Yes… oh,” Levi chuckled.

“So… you missed me?” I asked.

“That’s a loaded question, Ami,” Levi said.

“Is it? Aren’t we friends?” I asked.

“Is that what we are?” Levi asked.

“If we aren’t, then what are we?” I asked.

“I’m only teasing. I’m whatever you need me to be,” Levi said quietly.

“Levi…” I trailed off.

“Well! I rented Ever After,” Levi said.

I squealed. Yes, squealed.

“Really?!” I screamed.

“Yes, really,” Levi said with a blinding smile on his face.

He bumped his shoulder against mine and I blushed. His long silver hair fell on my shoulder. I took a deep breath, the scent of that shampoo filled my nose. We smelled the same. I wouldn’t put anymore thought into it.

“This is only like, my favorite movie ever!” I laughed.

“Good. I’m glad it still is. I wanted to make you smile,” Levi said.

Goddess.

He was perfect.

He was everything… everything Dylan wasn’t.

“Well, let’s watch it!” I said excitedly.

“Let’s,” Levi said.

He turned from me and pressed a button. The screen lit up and I bounced my legs excitedly as the movie popped up. He pressed another button and it started. I opened the box of GOOBERS absentmindedly while the intro played. He reached over me and grabbed the blankets. He pulled it over my lap and onto his. I gulped. We were under the same blankets again.

Why did he make me so nervous?

When did it start?

His scent surrounded me as he lifted his arm and dropped it behind me. I couldn’t help it, my body leaned towards him. My shoulder pressed against his torso, and I could feel the warmth of his body against my face. He was making it really hard to focus on the movie, but I managed to keep my eyes on the screen. I felt his fingers on my neck. I didn’t let it get to me, even when he started tracing circles into my skin.

The movie came to an end. I laughed, mourned, and cried. Levi held me threw it all. It felt so good to get out the emotions that were bottled up so tightly inside of me. I leaned my head on his chest as we watched and he comforted me. The fire crackled and he pressed a button. The screen turned off, moved back, and the wall closed on it again.

Levi stood up and I went to follow him, but he turned around and stopped me. I looked up at him as he leaned down. I tried to figure out what he was doing. I gasped when his arms wrapped around me and I was pulled up into his embrace bridal style.

“Levi! Put me down!” I exclaimed.

“Not happening,” he chuckled.

“Goddess,” I whispered.

He walked towards the bed and lowered me to it. I took a deep breath as he climbed on. I let it go when he crawled in next to me. He sat up and I looked up at him as I lay beside him. This was new, so new. I didn’t know what to do, but I did know I didn’t want to ruin this. I didn’t want to mess anything up. I didn’t want to lose him.

“If you don’t want me to sleep here, I can sleep on the sectional,” Levi said.

“I… I don’t… I don’t have a problem with it. It’s your bed. Thanks for letting me crash here,” I said.

“What’s mine is yours, Ami. There’s no need to thank me for anything,” Levi said.

“What am I going to do with you?” I sighed.

The bed dipped. One moment Levi was by my side and the next, he was straddled on top of me. His hair fell from his face. I wasn’t afraid of Levi, I don’t think I could ever be afraid of him. I reached up and pulled on a strand. His eyes flashed as he stared down at me. His lips firm as if he was battling with himself.

“What do you want to do with me?” Levi asked.
