Amia
I rushed towards him and fumbled with his shirt. He didn’t move back, or push my hands away. He stood still while I unbuttoned it and pulled it off. I looked around and noted a wardrobe close to the door. I rushed to it and pulled it open. It was empty. I turned and rushed toward a door on the other side of the wardrobe. I opened it and found it to be a bathroom.
Of course he has his own bathroom in his room.
I ran in and grabbed a towel. I ran back to him, he watched me as I grabbed his hand and led him to the bathroom. I didn’t say anything, I was too afraid of what I would say. He hadn’t said anything and it put me on edge. I don’t know why I was feeling like this with Levi. It was Levi. I’ve been alone with Levi many times before. It had been years since we were alone in a house but I had been alone with him on the drive here.
I sat him on the overly fancy bathtub that was the size of my bathroom at home. He sat down but he was still taller than me while sitting. Great. I felt his eyes on me while I dried his shoulders. I tried to swallow quietly but it came out a gulp as I moved down to his chest. Goddess, he had a muscular body like a Warrior. If I hadn’t known Levi since I was a little girl, I would have been sure he had to be a werewolf. His body was chiseled and looked like it had been chiseled by the gods.
Whoa there. I need to chill the hell out.
Chiseled by the gods?
I wanted to scoff. I was eye fucking one of my best friends and I had no guilt about it. I should be ashamed, but one again, I found that I was not. His pecs rose and fell as he breathed. His breath caught as my hands lowered to his abdomen. I raised my eyes to his and saw something flicker there. I fought the urge to smile. It was nice to know I wasn’t the only one affected by the situation we found ourselves in.
“You have a nice house,” I said. Levi snorted.
“I do,” he answered.
“Where is mom?” I asked.
“We’re here alone. My family is out of town this weekend. Lucky us,” Levi said. He smirked at me and I shook my head.
“Why aren’t you with them?” I asked.
“I don’t agree with their… trip. I’d prefer to stay home and enjoy my weekend,” Levi answered.
“What was that?” I asked.
“What was what?” He asked back.
“That was the dodgiest answer,” I said.
“Was it?” Levi asked.
“Yes, Levi. It was. It’s dark here,” I said.
“I like it dark,” Levi said.
“I do too,” I said.
“Do you like it here?” Levi asked.
I brought the towel up to his head and wrapped it around his shoulders. I dried his hair and attempted to avoid eye contact with him. We were close, really close. He was waiting for something and I realized he’d asked me a question. I couldn’t remember what it was. Levi wrapped his arms around my waist and I bit my lip as I freaked out.
What the hell do I do now?
Do I look at him?
Do I keep drying his hair?
“It’s dark and a bit cold, but… it’s your home. I like it because you’re here,” I answered truthfully.
“Good,” Levi answered.
I chose to stop avoiding his gaze. I looked him in the eyes, they were bright and I couldn’t help but smile. He was being mischievous. It was contagious and I was infected. I dropped my hands to my side and took a step back. He released me from the hold he had.
“All done,” I said.
“Bummer,” Levi whispered. I blushed but ignored him.
“Thanks for this,” I said.
“Thanks for…” Levi trailed off. He enjoyed making me uncomfortable. I didn’t want to give in, but I really was thankful.
“Thanks for bringing me home,” I said.
His eyebrows shot up in surprise. It made my confession all the more worth it. He stood up and I was face to face with his muscular chest. I turned from him and headed towards the door. He grabbed hold of my wrist and I was force to look back at him.
“Let’s take a shower,” Levi said.
My cheeks flushed and my body felt hot as my jaw dropped. Levi’s long hair was messy and his eyes stared at me with an intensity I wasn’t ready for. He smiled at me and when he winked at me, I realized he was teasing me.
“You ass!”I yelled.
I him him hard with my fist, but he didn’t budge. He threw his head back and laughed. I wanted to be mad at him, but gave in to him. I covered my face and laughed. He wrapped his arms around me and I looked up at him.
“You’re a jerk, you know that right?” I asked.
“Me? Never!” Levi insisted. A shocked look made its way across his face and I rolled my eyes. I pushed against his chest and he let me go. I took a step back and turned from him. I walked out the door.
“Take a shower. You stink,” I lied.
“Yes, Mistress,” he said as I closed the bathroom door.
I think I heard that wrong. I stood shocked in front of the door. I had the urge to open it again and asked him what he said, but stopped myself. I can’t believe how close I was to opening the door. I relaxed when I heard the sound of running water. I turned and looked around his room. I walked towards the fireplace and noted a remote on the sectional. There had to be a TV around here somewhere. I took a seat on the soft couch and waited for him.
