Sophie
His request for me to tell him about what was happening with Rox, through me off, completely. I mean...literally! It took me by surprise. "I...um...what do you mean? Nothing is going on between Roxanne and me. Why would you assume anything was going on here, with her." I crossed my hands over my chest, turning my head towards the window and biting down on my bottom lip.
"Are you...sure?" he asked, making me feel unease. Logan has always been a smart man. He knows me far too well to know when something is bothering me. Well....all except he was unable to tell T was gay because he let his dumb manly jealous rage take over him...but other than that, he's always been able to read me.
I sighed, I'm crossing my hands and looking at him, as I rested my head on the seat. "It's nothing I can't handle, I promise," I assured him. He looked towards the right, turning into the parking lot. "I'm sure you can handle her. There's no doubt about that, but if anything is happening that I should know, I want you to tell me, Soph. Communication, remember?" he reminds me, making me look at him dead in his eyes as he brings the car to a halt, placing the car in park, and turning it off.
"Logan, ugg," I said closing my eyes and looking away from him. He chuckles, reaching out with his arm and making me look at him. "Baby...talk to me."
"With so many girls in this world, and you say you love me... Why did you have to go sleep with this psycho bitch, Logan? I mean...I get it, I left, but even gone I was faithful to you. A part of me hated you because I really thought you had slept with Amber...yet a part of me wished it was a lie... Hoping you were waiting for me as I waited for you." it hurt me to think of him with another girl. And it's true.., it was bothering me. I know I have no right to go off on him. I have no right to tell him for wanting to move on. Yet a part of me wished that he had only been mine like he was my only one.
"Sophie, I...I'm sorry. I know that lame excuse of 'I'm a man, and men have needs' is bogus. It's stupid and childish. But I didn't think about it at the time....or more like...I did. I thought of you, and how it hurt to not have you. I did it, thinking maybe one of these girls would help to make me forget about you. It was painful, painful to not have you, and painful to see that I felt guilty every time, it's as if... Regardless of you not being here... I felt like I was being unfaithful. Unfaithful to you, to our love. I wish I could take it back, but I can't. It's something I have to deal with for the rest of my life. But I promise you one thing, baby... I'm yours. No one will ever come between us, as long you and I both continue to fight for each other. Roxie was a mistake, a mistake that will never happen again, because I love you, and only you." he says, making me feel unease. I know it wasn't his fault. I shouldn't be this hard on him. It was my fault to have been so dumb to leave without clarifying the misunderstanding. If I had listened to my parents and stayed to talk to them, none of this would have happened.
"I mean it, Sophie. I know she's giving you trouble. But I also know you can handle her. I just want you to know that I love you, and you have nothing to worry about. I would never do anything to hurt you, babe." he said, cupping my face. His soft, yet rugged hands warmed my cheeks, as a stray tear made its way down my eye.
"I love you too. And I would never do anything to hurt you either. You and Nate are my world. I would do anything for us, including kicking Roxanne's ass if she keeps trying to mess with me." He chuckled, I leaned in, kissing his lips.
"You don't have to do that. I only have eyes for you baby, no one else," he says, pulling me by my waist. He kissed me passionately, interlacing his fingers in my hair. Our kiss began to heat, he pressed me right against him, deepening his kiss. We both parted, gasping for air. I rested my forehead against him, slowly bringing my breathing back to normal.
"Logan..." I whispered his name, wrapping my hands around his neck. "Yeah..." he replied, smiling. "We need to get going. Before I-" I said, gulping down, closing my eyes." he smiled led, pulling me by my waist closer against his chest. "Before I cancel my appointment and take you back home to take advantage of you," I said making him throw his head back, chuckling.
"I would love for you to take advantage of me. You can take advantage of me anytime you want baby. Believe me... I have no problem with that. But..." he says, kissing my forehead, and brushing my hair back with his fingers. "I know how important this appointment is to you, so how about we leave the taking advantage of until after the appointment is over?" he says kissing my lips. I chuckled, leaning my head against his chin. "Sounds like a good idea," I responded making him smile.
"Come on, let's get in there," he said, opening his door and getting out.

Logan
Sophie and I were extremely nervous, waiting for the doctor to come in and check on Sophie. She had to undress from the waist up and wear one of those blue hospital gowns over her body. She kept fidgeting with her fingers and biting her lower lip. A habit of hers since I could remember.
We finally heard a loud knock on the door, followed by the doctor coming in with her results. She had undergone a complete mammogram and scheduled herself for an upcoming appointment with a gynecologist for a pap smear. I'll be damn honest, I was glad she had a girl doctor. Hell no I would be comfortable if she had doctors touching her.
"Sophie? Good news honey. Your results are in, I'm happy to say that your results look good." her face lit up, sighing deeply in signs of relief. "So...does that mean I'm fine? No signs of cancer, nothing?" she asked the doctor. The doctor smiled, placing her hand on her shoulder. "No honey. No cancer. But.., I do have a small concern. You tested low in iron. I'm a bit concerned with your health, so I'm going to run one more test for you and see what is going on, ok?" her face went from relief to freight once more.
"Test? Wait, what do you mean? What concerns are you talking about?" she asked the doctor, holding my hand tightly.
"Well, in most cases it's nothing too big to worry about. It can be early signs of gestation, but on rare occasions, it can be a sign of malnourishment. Are you eating regularly?" she looks at Sophie, tilting her head as she jots down on her clipboard. "Um, well...yes, actually, I am. I eat three times a day, and exercise regularly," she replies, looking between the doctor and me.
"Ok. Do you remember when was your last menstrual cycle?" my eyes went wide, my lips partially parted as I felt the blood drained from me. "SHIT?" she whispered. And all I could do was stare amused as I gave her a small chuckle and tried to clear my throat as I leaned against the wall with arms crossed.
Well....this, indeed, was an unexpected predicament.
