Playboy Alpha and His Contract Mate

Chapter 96

Ch. 96 / 102 Jan 23, 2026

As the proprietor and Nikki attempted to regroup, I explored the extent of my new ability. Beams of light extended from my outstretched hands, surrounding us with greater intensity.

Douglas's gaze reflecting pride and admiration, spoke, "Amaya, you've tapped into something extraordinary. This power can be a force for good. Remember the last lesson I taught you and added your ability."

The resonance of his words stirred me up. I frowned and lunged at them once again, overpowering them.

The proprietor and Nikki, realizing that I was overpowering them, attempted to run away. As they turned to run, I seized the opportunity to confront them one last time.

"Running won't save you now," I proclaimed, channeling my radiant power at their path.

The proprietor, glancing back with a mixture of fear and frustration, hissed, "This is not over, little girl. We are coming back for you."

"You may have this moment, but next time it will be your Halloween," Nikki yelled.

"We'll be waiting," Douglas said.

As Nikki and the proprietor left the school, a group of Alphas, the enforcers of justice in the supernatural realm, arrived to bring an end to the chaos that had tainted the school. The students were recording the fight scene, so it went viral on social media that they had to come around. Their leader, a stern figure with piercing eyes, addressed the situation, "We are here to apprehend the school proprietor. His reign of darkness ends today."

I nodded, acknowledging the Alphas' arrival. It was a relief to see a force committed to maintaining order in our totem. However, my thoughts lingered on the proprietor's escape.

One of the Alphas, turned to me, "We have been monitoring the situation, Amaya, since the beginning of the contest! Your abilities played a crucial role in exposing the truth."

I nodded again, grateful for their applause, and in turn made responsibility settled on my shoulders as I realized the task that lay ahead.

Suddenly, the attention shifted as they apprehended my father. "Alex, you are under arrest for gathering a group of terrorists in the woods to challenge the peace of our territory."

Despite my father's cooperation, the Alphas deemed it necessary to detain him temporarily for further questioning. As they restrained him, my father met my gaze with a mixture of determination and pride.

"Don't forget to kick his ass, daughter!" he exclaimed, his words laced with power.

I couldn't help but smile at his remark. "I will make sure justice is served, Dad," I replied, my voice laced with assurance.

The Alphas escorted my father away for interrogation. As he disappeared from view, I couldn't deny the pang of emotions that surged within me.

The leader of the Alphas turned to me, his expression understanding, "We'll conduct a thorough investigation. If your father is innocent, he'll be released. But our priority is apprehending the proprietor and ensuring he faces the consequences of his actions"

I nodded and they disappeared. "Well done, Amaya!" Jeremy turned to me and wiped off the blood on my wounded neck. I looked into his eyes and smiled at him.

"This is not time for love, let's go get that bitch!" Douglas said as I and Jeremy locked their gaze. Meanwhile, Cena's face was black. I was sure he was jealous, but he hid it, yet, visible to me.

Suddenly, my mother showed up from behind. "Amaya!!" She called me and I ran up to her. She had escaped from the proprietor's den.

"Mom," I whispered, my voice as fragile as an egg.

She held me close, the warmth of her embrace a comforting refuge amidst the heat. "Mum, how do you escape from his den?" I asked her, still in her arms.

She took a deep breath, the memory of her escape seemed fresh in her mind. "It was a terrible experience, Amaya. The proprietor had me cornered, and I thought there was no way out."

"But you are here now. How did you manage to escape?" I pressed with a sense of curiosity.

"As I faced the proprietor's torture, a masked figure appeared out of nowhere. They fought with incredible skill, allowing me to break free."

"A masked figure? Who could that be?" I wondered aloud, trying to match some dots in my head.

"I couldn't see their faces. They were like a guardian angel sent in the moment of need," my mother continued, putting everyone in severe cliff-hanging.

"Did they say anything? Give any indication of who they were?" I inquired, hoping for a clue that could unravel the Identity of the masked figure.

"No words were exchanged. They fought with purpose as if their sole mission was to ensure my escape," she replied, looking up as though she was recounting the past. As I was lost to thought, trying to figure out who they could be, my mother chipped in.

"Amaya, we will get through this together. Your father is strong, and the truth will prevail," She assured us as we stood in the school corridor.

"He always told me to be strong," I admitted phlegmatically.

"He's right, my love. Strength is not just about physical prowess but the resilience to face challenges head-on," she replied, her fingers gently brushing away a tear from my cheek.

As we pulled away, I saw a determination in my mother's eyes. "We need to find the proprietor and clear Dad's name," I stated, glaring at Douglas.

My mother nodded, her eyes moving around the aura. "We will, Amaya. But remember, justice is a journey, not just a destination. We'll face whatever comes our way."
