Playboy Alpha and His Contract Mate

Chapter 99

Ch. 99 / 102 Jan 23, 2026

Jeremy stepped forward to face the proprietor. It was decided that he would be the first to challenge the man to avenge the death of his parents. I stood a few steps behind, my heart pounding in my chest, ready to step in if necessary.

"Proprietor, your days of inflicting pain on innocent students and their families are over," Jeremy declared, his voice firm and unwavering.

The proprietor sneered, standing tall and confident. "And who do you think you are, little boy? Another rebel trying to bring me down? It's a pity. You won't last a minute against me."

Without warning, the proprietor lunged forward, landing a powerful blow to Jeremy's gut. Jeremy stumbled backward, clutching his stomach in pain. The shock of seeing him so vulnerable fueled the pain within me. It was time for me to act.

I stepped forward, my eyes locked with the proprietor's eyes.

"You may have defeated him, but you won't defeat all of us," I said, my voice steady despite the fear that threatened to consume me.

The proprietor laughed a cruel and mocking sound that blasted through the place. "And what can a mere girl like you do against me? I've seen stronger opponents fall at my feet."

Without wasting another second, I charged towards him, my fists clenched. But before I could make contact, he sidestepped effortlessly, delivering a swift blow to my lower abdomen. The force of the impact knocked out the oxygen in me, leaving me gasping for breath.

"Is that the best you can do?" he taunted, a smirk playing on his lips.

I struggled to get back up, determination coursing through my veins. "No, it's just the beginning," I hissed, launching myself at him once again. This time, I feinted to the left and swung my leg in a vicious kick. To my surprise, it connected, catching him off guard and staggering him for a moment.

But his recovery was swift, and he retaliated with a series of lightning-fast strikes. Each blow landed with an intensity that rattled my senses, threatening to overpower me. I could feel the pain starting to consume my body, but I refused to back down. This fight was not just for me. It was for everyone who had suffered under his reign.

As I fought to stay on my feet, Douglas took a step forward, her eyes blazing with fury.

"Enough is enough!" she exclaimed, her voice cutting through the fight. "You will not harm another innocent person!"

With that, Douglas launched himself at the proprietor while my mother aimed at the other guards in the path. It was a heated fight as a clash of clans blasted through the place.

I glanced over at Jeremy who had recovered slightly from his injured neck. His eyes met mine, and we nodded in unspoken words. It was time to carry out our plans.

I quickly lunged at Nikki and we began to fight her. She kicked my ass and I fell onto the floor while Jason and the rest fought her. However, I found a bone on the floor. I picked it up and gashed through Nikki's neck. Immediately, she screamed aloud, pain in her voice, and her ability disappeared.

As I watched Nikki fall to the floor, my heart sank. The bone I had discovered in my pocket had been given to me by Billie. That was the thing she kept in my dress some hours ago. It's a bone rumored to have the power to weaken supernatural abilities. I never believed it to be true until now, witnessing the effect it had on Nikki, the guilt washed over me in waves, knowing that I had unknowingly used it against my sister.

Rushing to her side, I dropped to my knees beside her, my hands trembling with regret and worry. Her normally radiant face was now pale, her eyes filled with pain.

"Nikki, I am so sorry I am doing this," I whispered, tears streaming down my cheeks. "I didn't know... I didn't mean to hurt you."

Nikki weakly turned her head towards me, a small smile tugging at the corner of her lips.

"It's... not your fault, Amaya," she replied, her voice barely a whisper. "I should have told you about my lost memories; I should have been more careful."

Nikki's hand trembled as she reached out to touch my face gently.

"Amaya, you have to find a way to restore my memories," she pleaded, her voice filled with desperation. "I can't bear not knowing who I am or where I come from."

I nodded and my determination fueled.

"I promise, Nikki, I will do everything in my power to help you remember. We will find a way back to who you were."

With grunt and pain, Nikki managed to lift her hand and point toward the three figures looming behind me. "But first, Amaya. you need to be careful. Cena, Jason, and Elena... they're not who they seem to be," she warned, her voice growing faint.

"They want something... something powerful. They will stop at nothing to get it," Nikki landed.

I glanced over my shoulder, meeting their dangerous gazes. The guilt I felt was swiftly replaced by a burning sensation to protect my sister and uncover the truth.

"Who are you?" I demanded, anger lacing my words.

A towering figure with a sinister grin, stepped forward, his voice dripping with malevolence.

"We are the remnants of a long-forgotten darkness," he said, his voice cold and unforgiving.

"Nikki's lost memories hold the key to unlocking that darkness."

My mind raced, processing this newfound knowledge. How could Nikki possess such a dangerous power without her memories? And why were these individuals so intent on it? It became clear that my sister's memory loss was not a mere coincidence.

I stood up, my eyes locked with Cena's. "You won't get away with this," I declared, my voice filled with pain.

"I won't stop until I uncover the truth and restore Nikki's memories. And when I do, you'll face the consequences."

A sinister laugh erupted from him as he stepped forward, his eyes blazing with malice.

"You think you can challenge us? You have no idea what you are up against, little Amaya," His words were laced with superiority, a clear attempt to intimidate me.

"You lie, fool!" Elena chipped in, and uncovered the veil on her face. The statured figure wide-eyed, his breath fainting.

He seemed to had known Elena from somewhere. We all stood, awe-stricken at the duo staring at each other relentlessly. "Mum!!" The statured man spoke, coming closer to Elena. What the cinnamon toast fuck was that?

"Elena, is this... is he really your son?" I asked, my voice laced with surprise.

Elena nodded, a bittersweet smile playing on her lips. "Yes, Amaya. Against all odds, he is alive, and he has been working for the school proprietor.

My mind reeled at the revelation. The son she thought was dead was alive.

Nikki, still weak, glanced at Elena's son with a facial recognition. "I thought you were gone," she whispered, her voice fragile.

He stepped forward, a protective gleam in his eyes. "I had to stay hidden, Nikki, to work for the proprietor."

"Elena's son," I addressed him, searching for a name to anchor the unfolding narrative.

"Call me Troy," he responded, with a hint of determination in his eyes.

Elena ran up to him and they glued in tight embrace. "Troy, we need to help Amaya and her friends get Nikki out of this place as soon as possible!"

Troy, as called by Elena, now moved to us and helped Nikki up to her feet. I backed her and we ponied out of the place while the proprietor and the Douglas continued the fight. We left the place while Troy led the way motioning us through some delicate paths of the territory.

The school proprietor ran away after he discovered that Nikki had been taken by us. However, Douglas didn't stop running after him.

In the secluded haven, Nikki lay on a bed while Elena began the process of memory restoration. I stood by Nikki's side, my hand intertwined with hers, offering her a silent support.

Elena's eyes focused on Nikki. "Close your eyes, Nikki," she instructed, her voice soothing and calming.

Nikki obeyed, her eyelids gently closing as she surrendered to the process.
