Playboy Alpha and His Contract Mate

Chapter 93

Ch. 93 / 102 Jan 23, 2026

Jason and Cena became my guide as we embarked on the journey to find the person in the North who could help us heal Nikki. The more they shared about the extent of the proprietor's wickedness, the more determined I was to fight for my family. Jason and Cena shared stories of other victims of the proprietor, people whose lives had been shattered by his wicked nature. This was a chance to bring justice to the wicked.

As we finally reached the small town up North, hope ignited within me like a raging fire as they both navigated the map in their hands.

"This could be the haven of secrecy where we would find the woman who possessed the ability to restore Nikki's stolen memories," Jason looked at me and spoke. I nodded my head, and he led us through the narrow streets, his eyes scanning the faces of the town.

We entered into an incompleted building where a woman named Elena lived. She seemed to be in her old age. She looked through her brows and welcomed us in.

She greeted us with a knowing smile, her eyes shimmering. "I have been expecting you," she said, her voice soft yet filled with an underlying strength. "I have heard of your quest, Amaya. Nikki is your twin sister!"

My heart froze as she mentioned. I turned at Jason and Cena, their eyes widened too in surprise. It was so unbelievable. So Nikki was my twin sister? How come my mother didn't know about it? My father didn't know about it either.

"How come?" I asked her. She smiled amorously and tucked her chin.

"That is not necessary for now, Amaya. I think what matters is to make sure she is back to her senses else she becomes more dangerous," Elena warned. Cena tapped my shoulder—a sign to calm down my nerves.

My heart swelled with relief and Finally, someone who could understand our pain, who could offer us a glimmer of hope. "Can you help her?" I asked, my voice quivering with yearning.

Elena nodded, her gaze filled with compassion. "Yes, but the process won't be easy," she warned. I sighed stretching my arms.

"To restore your sister's memories, we will have to delve deep into the recesses of her mind, opening doors that have long been closed. It may be painful, but it's the only way to bring her back," She added, mystery in her voice.

Tears welled up in my eyes as I thought about the path that lay ahead. The notion that something so painful could bring about healing seemed contradictory, but I knew we had to do whatever it took to make sure Nikki was back to her senses.

Elena began by explaining the secrets of memory restoration. She spoke of the complexity of the human mind, and how she had restored a lot of memories in her pack. She detailed the steps we would need to take to help Nikki remember her forgotten past.

"The mind is like a jigsaw puzzle," Elena said, leaning forward in her chair. "Each memory piece is scattered, waiting to be discovered and pieced back together. We must start by identifying the fragments."

Elena delved into Nikki's history. She asked detailed questions about her childhood, her relationships, and any traumatic events that might have led to her memory loss. Jason, Cena, and I provided all the information we could, clinging to the hope that each piece of the little idea we had about her would bring us closer to the truth.

Elena's brow furrowed in deep concentration as she listened to us, matching the dots with the information she knew about Nikki, painting a clearer picture of Nikki's past. From the smallest details to the most significant moments, she captured them all, creating a roadmap to guide us through the restoration process.

Once she had gathered enough information about Nikki, Elena introduced us to a series of memory restoration exercises. She taught us techniques designed to unlock the hidden recesses of Nikki's mind, where forgotten memories slumbered, through guided meditations.

We left the Up North alongside Elena and aimed at our pack to fight. I had made up my mind to give it all it takes by fighting for what belongs to us. However, as we were about to get to the patrol border of our pack, we stumbled upon Billie. She was lying down on the floor helplessly in distress, injured and struggling at the pack border. It was clear that her true identity to be a deaf and dumb child had been revealed to the school proprietor.

"Hold on!" I called the others, lowering my pace as we approached her. "Billie! What are you doing here? Are you alright?"

She looked up at me with fear in her little amber eyes. She opened her mouth as if about to speak, but then closed it as if hesitating. It was clear that she barely escaped death.

"Please, talk to us!" I insisted, my voice gentle but firm. "We want to help!"

She seemed to consider my words for a moment and then nodded slowly. It was as though she had reached a decision, realizing that she needed our assistance more than she realized. Without another word, she limped towards us, struggling to get up. As we were about to help her up, suddenly a group of men began approaching us from behind. They were undoubtedly sent by the school proprietor as they flaunted black dresses.

"Quick, we need to protect her!" I yelled, fearing what would happen if they got their hands on her. I glanced at Cena and Jason, urging them to attack them in haste.

Without hesitation, the men outnumbered us and began to fight us. But before they could defeat us, my father appeared out of nowhere, charging towards them with a fierce determination in his eyes.

"Where is your master? I would make sure you are all drenched in a pool of your blood!" My father yelled at them.

I watched in awe as he expertly fought them off like a beast. Elena rooted on her spot and got intrigued by the pouncing force of my father. Jason and Cena looked at him too in surprise. They never could have believed he was that strong. And for me, that was the moment that I realized just how deep his involvement in this world went, and how little I truly knew about him.

I turned my attention back to Billie, who was now clinging to my arm, fear showing on her face. "We are going to be fine," I assured her, trying to keep my voice steady despite the chaos around us.

"You guys should go! Amaya! Lead them to my hidden cabin!" My father instructed before gashing the throat of the victim in his hand.

As my father was fighting them, we took off running, trying to put as much distance between ourselves and them. The adrenaline looming through my veins fueled my determination, and I couldn't help but run faster.

We only ran a few meters when I decided to lift Billie. She was struggling to keep up because her injuries were taking a toll on her, and it was evident that she needed medical attention. But we couldn't afford to stop, not when our lives were hanging in the balance. The only thing I could do was to lift her to my back and keep running.
