Playboy Alpha and His Contract Mate

Chapter 95

Ch. 95 / 102 Jan 23, 2026

The air in the office was cold as my father, Jeremy, and I faced the notorious school proprietor. His sinister smile sent shivers down my spine. This was the person responsible for so much pain and suffering in our lives.

"You are here, friend. Guess we could fight now," he said in a mocking tone in his voice, yelling at my father.

"I am not here for you yet, coward!" My father's response was firm, a reflection of determination that fueled him.

As the heat loomed, the door creaked open, revealing Douglas. His face, which I used to see as a calm one had now harbored what I could call a nostalgia of pain and anger. His voice cut through the room like a blade, "Did you kill my parents, Mr. Proprietor?"

The proprietor's expression shifted, caught off guard by the unexpected revelation. I stood frozen, my heart palpitating as the truth unraveled before me. Douglas had suffered a loss at the hands of this villain. The rage in his voice was evident.

He admitted it, his arrogance evident as he challenged Douglas, "Yes, I did. What will you do about it?"

Douglas's eyes narrowed, his fists clenched. The room seemed to close in on us, the gravity of the revelation hanging in the air like a pollutant. I could feel the intensity of the moment, a collision of emotions and long-suppressed truths as I stared at the fury in Douglas's eyes.

In that charged atmosphere, I was forced to yell at him, "You monster! How could you take away the people he loved?"

The proprietor chuckled, reveling in the chaos he'd caused. "Love is a weakness, my dear. A sentiment that clouds judgment. Douglas here learned that the hard way."

My father, enraged, took a step forward, ready to unleash his fury. While Douglas stood by his side, his eyes reflecting a determination to see justice served.

As the confrontation unfolded, I couldn't escape the intensity of the situation. Douglas was rooted in his position as though he was tormented by grief. He faced the killer of his parents. The proprietor, exposed and unrepentant, fueled the desire for our revenge.

"I will kill you today, fool," Douglas declared, his voice cutting through the chaos. The proprietor, unyielding in his malevolence, responded with a mocking tone, "Try your luck, boy," he laughed sarcastically.

The fight started between the school proprietor and Douglas. Douglas didn't fail to let him know he was a master of his craft as he unleashed calculated strikes, each move carrying the weight of his pain and the desire for revenge.

The school proprietor unleashed some skills, a dangerous one that nobody could have ever expected. We should see him as a perfect gentleman who could only control a large number of people with his intelligence. We never knew he was as brutal as my father.

The proprietor, though visibly taken aback, displayed a cunning skill, countering every attack with a sinister smirk. The school premises became an arena, witnesses to the clash between Douglas seeking justice and the school proprietor that lurked in the corner.

As the battle raged on, the air whispered with the sounds of punches and kicks, as their kicks and precision in the air clashed through the empty hallways. Jeremy was rooted in his spot by my side, his gaze fixed on the ongoing heat. He couldn't fight the proprietor. All he could do was to stand and watch while Douglas took revenge on his behalf.

"Is this the legacy you want to leave behind?" Douglas questioned, his strikes relentless. "A legacy of pain and destruction?"

The proprietor, dodging a powerful kick, sneered, "Legacy is for the weak, little boy. I shall dominate this territory and control all the werewolves under my foot."

I felt the weight of Douglas's words as his neck was now throbbing hard as though it would burst. I felt this pain inside of me. The proprietor was boasting despite fooling us for years and now he was not repenting. I needed to kick that smirk off his face.

"I won't let you destroy everything," I shouted, joining the fight alongside Douglas. Our combined efforts intensified the struggle, creating a hard precision for the proprietor. The school, once a place of learning, became a battleground for the fight against malevolence where students now gathered together to take video clips of them.

Amid the fight, the proprietor taunted, "You can't change the inevitable, young one. The world bows to power, and I am the embodiment of power."

"True power is not found in oppression but in the ability to protect and uplift. You have chosen the path of destruction, and today, it ends," Douglas retorted in rage.

As I joined forces with Douglas, the proprietor lost his focus as he couldn't dodge our strikes again, even in his wolf form. Suddenly, Nikki emerged from the shadows, displaying her fire skills at the forefront of the conflict.

"Nikki, you are my blood sister. Remember who you are, please!" I pleaded, my voice carrying a plea laced with desperation.

Nikki's eyes ablaze with an otherworldly as she was activating her beast. "I am not your sister, Amaya!"

As she unleashed her fire ability, the flames followed in the direction of her movements. Douglas and I exchanged a glance, realizing that this fight wouldn't be won by physical knowledge alone.

The clash intensified as I summoned my light ability, weaving beams of radiant energy into the fray. The school corridor was illuminated with the conflicting elements, a spectacle of power that mirrored the internal struggle between darkness and light.

"You can't escape your true self, Nikki," I shouted amidst the chaos. "The power you wield can be a force for good!"

"True power lies in embracing the darkness within," Nikki screamed at me.

Nikki was not ready to listen to me. She was desperate to kill us with her fire ability. Feeling a surge of determination, I summoned my light ability with newfound energy. The packet of light that emanated from me gloomed, creating an aura that enveloped the entire space.

"Wow, you got an ability, Amaya?" Douglas exclaimed, his eyes widening in amazement.

"Yes," I responded, feeling the resonance of this newfound power coursing through me. It was as if a dormant strength had awakened.

The proprietor and Nikki, momentarily stunned by the intensity of the light, stood still and watched in awe. A sense of unease flickered in their eyes, a realization that a force greater than they had anticipated now stood against them.

"What is this?" the proprietor spat, shielding his eyes from the radiant glow.

"A power beyond darkness, beyond your comprehension," I declared, the newfound confidence laced in my voice.
