Ever since Allen got sick, Damon became more attentive to his son. He realized he could not take care of his son even with a Nanny.
He was so busy that even if he wanted to be more attentive, he could not do that.he was problematic about it in the middle of work.
“Why don’t you let Ms. Anya meet the little master, Sir? Since you are on your way to pursue her?” Gabe suggested.
Damon heard this, but he was a little hesitant.
He wanted to build a relationship with her first before letting her know about her son.
He knows it is unfair, but he wants her to see and accept him without having a child involved. So he silently decided to delay the revelation.
He thought and remembered her mother did not know about the child yet. He was afraid of how his mother would react, but these days, StAnna kept pestering him.
He thought, what if he showed his son to his mother so that she would stop paring him with any woman? Aside from that, she could take care of Allen, and he would be more at ease.
A woman’s warmth and care are still different from a father's.
When Damon decided this, he stood up and got ready to leave. He gave his instructions to Gabe, and they went back home to fetch his son.
At his house, his son was playing with cars and toys on a mat. The boy saw his daddy and immediately called.
“Daddy!” He exclaimed with his cute voice and raised his little arms.
Damon smiled and approached his son to scoop him up into his arms. “Were you playing?” He asked as he caressed his son’s head.
“Play!” Allen showed off his little car in his hands. Damon saw this and chuckled.
“How about we meet someone today?” He asked as he went to his son’s room with him in his arms.
“Hmm?” The boy innocently tilted his head and sucked his forefingers as he questioningly eyed his father.
“We will meet grandma,” Damon said with a smile. “Grandma?” The milky voice of the baby asked.
“Yup, like Baby JJ’s grandma. Allen would meet his too,” He baby-talked his son as he mentioned his favorite cartoon.
“Grandma!” Allen exclaimed happily. Damon chuckled once again and got his son ready. After that, they went down as he ordered the nanny to make preparations.
Shortly after, the father and son were in the car, on their way to the Castellanos family villa.
When they arrived, Damon got out of the car with his son in his arms. He entered the estate, and as he passed by, the servants who were surprised to see a boy being carried by the master were no less.
Who is that baby boy?
Damon entered the receiving area and asked a nearby maid. “Where is my mother?”
The maid was surprised and flustered.
“Master, I will call her now,” She said and rushed to call the madame.
Amanda was told that his son had come home and was surprised. What brings her son this early in the day?
She went out of her chamber and went to greet his son.
“Damon, darling, what brings you here?” She said as she happily went to his son. But she was frozen in place when he saw a little boy with him. the boy was cute and looked awfully familiar.
He looked like the very boy she had always carried more than 20 years ago.
“W-who is this child?” Her voice shook as she questioned, her eyes locked on the one who looked so much like her son.
It was a little version of Damon Castellano.
“My son,” Amanda suddenly heard his son’s response and jumped in surprise. “Son?! H, how,” She asked, flustered.
Damon saw his mother's bewildered and shocked countenance and sighed. “Mom, calm down, and let’s sit and talk.”
Damon walked to the couch and sat, placing his son on his lap. Amanda was still in shock as she slowly sat on the sofa.
Damon turned to his son and said. “That is grandma. Say hi,”
Allen stared at the woman before him with his bright blue eyes and said cutely. “Grandma,”
Amanda felt her heart was shot by cupid. She immediately fell in love with this angel. Suddenly tears came out of her eyes as she stretched her arms.
“Come to grandma,” Amanda's voice rang. Amanda does not need a lot of information to know that this boy, indeed, is her grandson.
The boy obediently wriggled out of his father’s hold and ran to Amanda. He latched to the woman’s leg and looked up with his white and milky face.
Amanda felt a warmth surge in her heart as she picked up the boy.
“Oh, my grandson,” She whispered as she stared at the boy’s face for a moment.
When she recovered, she finally remembered her unfilial son. Looking at how big her grandson is now, she was quickly angered.
“Why did it take you only now to show me, my grandson?! Do you see me as dead?!” She angrily scolded her son. But still careful not to scare the little guy in her arms.
Damon saw the thoughtfulness of his mother and felt that it was the right decision to introduce her to his son.
“Mom, it was not the right time. And her mother is dead, so I thought it would be hard to tell you the news.” Damon lied. It was the only feasible reason he could think of.
“What do you mean hard? How can people be hard to tell if this is your son? Look at him! he looked exactly like you when you were a child!” She said and happily smiled and kissed her grand son’s face.
Allen felt tickled and giggled.
The cute laugh rang in the whole room, and all that heard this was immediately captured.
Oh, what a precious baby.
Amanda became even more obsessed with him. She kissed him a couple of times. “You said his mother is dead, so who is taking care of him?” She asked.
“I hired a nanny. Though I am still having a hard time ensuring his safety and health.” He said with all honesty.
“Well, what is his grandma for?! Leave him here if you cannot focus on him. and also, you need to pay for the years we grandchild and grandma did not know each other.” His mother said stubbornly. Damon could only laugh helplessly.
He then brought up his other intention.
“Now that I have a son, you don’t need to pair me with other women anymore. I don’t need those.” He said to his mother.
Amanda her this and was taken aback. She did not agree or refute.
Even with just this, Damon was already satisfied. Knowing his mother, she would definitely push all that she wanted. Now, he could take that she was considering and respecting his decision.
“Well, let’s not talk about that. We have a much more important thing to do! That is to announce and declare this grandson of mine! The Castellano’s Little boy!” She said happily as she carried her grandson in his arms.
The baby boy also smiled cheerfully at her.
