Alpha Benson's POV
What just happened, did that kid just say he was going to assist Alpha Darian in fighting my pack? No this can't be possible, with the present situation of my pack, I won't even be able to defeat him if he alone attacks me talk less of when he joins force with Alpha Darian whose only motive is to eliminate me for abducting his mate, I still can't believe that he's Alpha Ethan's son, he's nothing compared to his father instead he's completely different, stubborn and daring, how he was able to meet up with Alpha Darian and even convince him to assist him in fighting against my pack is something that I can't figure out, for the meantime I have to find one way or the other to get rid of those two if not if they attack me by surprise, they are surely going to wipe my pack out of existence and can't let that happen.
"Tony get me my horse ready, I need to go and pay someoone a surprise visit," I said to my Beta who have been standing right in front of me since all these while without uttering a sungle word.
With that he prostrated himself before walking away, after some minutes he returned back and informed me that the horse is ready, with that I stood up from my throne and chose some soldiers who would follow me to where I was going, meanwhile I asked him to stay back and watch over the pack because it won't be good if the both the Alpha and the Beta is absent.
After giving some instructions to my beta, I started heading outside with the guards I had selected to join me, once we came outside, we mounted our horses rode off.
After an hour of riding we were finally at the border of Wolfenwood pack once known as the den of the most heartless and cruelest Alpha of all time who is no one else than Alpha Darian, who would have believed that one day someone would strip Alpha Darian off his pack and the mighty Alpha Darian won't have anywhere else to reside than the forest.
"If someone was able to make the mighty Alpha Darian packless, that means that one day I too will be able to defeat him, it's just a question of time and patience.
Sighing heavily I kicked my horse twice and immediately it started moving and without hesitating my men followed me from behind. After some minutes of riding, we finally arrived at the palace. Once the watchmen saw us approaching, they immediately alerted the guards who came out and meet us.
"Greetings Alpha Benson, what brought you to our pack?" one of the guards asked me.
"No big issue, just want to see your Alpha or should I say your Alphas?" I asked the guard with a smirk and immediately he glared angrily at me.
"Wait here," the guard said to me before walking away, after some minutes he returned and asked only me to follow him while my guards stay behind.
Getting down from my horse, I followed the guard from behind while my guards stayed behind with the horses.
As we heading towards the entrance of the palace, I couldn't help but smile to myself, I just couldn't wait to see the supreme Alphas sharing the throne of the great Alpha Darian.
After some minutes of walking we got into the court chamber, but what I saw was the total contradiction of what I was expecting. Right on the throne of Alpha Darian was a lady whose face was covered with a hood and on the chair reserved for the elders or visitors were the supreme Alphas.
Once I turned around, I noticed that the guard who had let me in was kneeling down with his head bowed low.
"Benson how dare you stand before me?" The voice of the lady echoed angrily, her deadly aura filling the room but I stood my feet refusing to bow before a lady and the worst part of it is that she isn't even a she-wolf, maybe I would have thought that she is a female Alpha.
I was still lost in my thoughts when I felt a hand grab my neck and immediately it started pulling me up while choking me.
Looking forward I saw that the lady stretched her hand towards me and was muttering some words that I couldn't hear, it was then that it dawned on me that the lady was a witch, without any second thought, I tried shifting but I couldn't due to how the invisible hand was choking me and I slowly running out of oxygen and my vision was slowly becoming blurry. Suddenly some of my soldiers ran into the court chamber, probably they had felt that something bad was happening to me, on seeing how I was hanging on the air they tried to come to my rescue but just with a snap of finger, they all collapsed and dried up like leaves.
With what just happened I didn't need a fortune teller before knowing that the lady was the devil herself and there's no way I was ever going to defeat her, if the supreme Alphas haven't said anything since then, it's probably because they too are afraid of her, the only way to get out of this was to beg for my life, I'm not yet ready to die, not when Alpha Darian is still alive.
Without thinking twice I started begging for my life.
"Please have mercy on me," I started begging the strange lady while gasping for air but she ignored me and continued strangling me.
Finally when I thought that I was going to die, she freed me and immediately I crashed on the floor and held my neck while gasping for air.
" Guards," she called out and immediately some guards ran into the court chamber.
"Take him away," she commanded and before I could even my mouth to talk, the guards bundled me and started dragging me out.
