Pregnant and Rejected: His Wolfless Mate

Chapter 79

"Welcome Brother."

I looked at the heinous man standing before us as he smiled at Dorian. His smile would send cold shivers down anyone's spine, but Aaron didn't seem frightened.

Did he just refer to Dorian as his brother?

"It's you?" Dorian sounded surprised.

Looks like they are acquainted. But could they be related?

"Were you expecting someone else?"

Dorian shook his head and clenched his fist. "Where is my son?"

My heart warmed up to hear Dorian say that. Though, I know that Dorian has always been a father figure to my pups. All their lives, he's been there for them, filling the place of their father but I've never heard him boldly refer to them as his son.

"Son?" The heinous man chuckled. "When did my brother become a father? Why wasn't I informed?"

Dorian ignored his question and went towards him, taking bold steps. He marched towards the man and yelled through gritted teeth.

"Felix, give me back my boy!"

Felix? Have I heard that name before? I wonder why the name sounds so familiar.

"Calm down, Dorian," he smirked.

The man looked like he was having the time of his life. He was enjoying Dorian's anxiety. Dorian on the other hand didn't look like he cared. He didn't seem to like this strange brother of his.

Who would?

I feel immense hatred for him at first sight.

"Where is my son?" I jumped in before the man could speak again.

His head turned menacingly and his lips curled up.

"Woah," he gasped and covered his mouth with his hand. "What a beauty."

His eyes stared flirtatiously at me and he licked his lips. His lustful gaze on me gave me the creeps and my body felt like tiny ants were crawling around my body.

"How did I miss your arrival?" He moved to come closer but stopped as Dorian moved to block me.

"Stay back!" He yelled.

"Oh...oh....relax brother," He chuckled evilly. "Is she yours?"

Dorian didn't respond or react to any of his antics. His only concern was Giovanni.

I don't know if these two are related or what the enmity between them is. But I do know for sure that I wouldn't allow my child to be used as a medium for revenge.

"Where is he?" I could feel some strange force building up in me and I knew that Joanne was surfacing.

"Oh, I get it now." Hideous Felix laughed.

I found his eerie laughter disgusting. It made my stomach churn.

"....So, you're the mother of the boy." He eyed me from my head down to my toes. "But why do you look so....." He paused.

He pursed his lips as if he was thinking of something.

"Could the boy be yours, brother?"

I rolled my eyes at his stupid questions.

"Quit being garrulous and tell me where the boy is!" Dorian's voice thundered.

His eyes showed how much fury was building up in him.

"Relax brother the boy is on his way." Felix went back to sit. "We can return to our bargain once the boy is here, isn't it?"

Dorian's response to his words was a low growl.

"Dorian!"

I turned as soon as I heard that seraphic voice that sends tranquillity to my soul. My son. My Giovanni.

"Momma!"

"Aaron!"

I turned to see the bright smile on my son's face. He looked neither frightened nor worried. Any child his age would be trembling but my Gio was smiling.

I opened my arms to catch my son but before he could reach us. Felix grabbed him.

"Not so fast, honey."

Gio didn't fight back or try to struggle. Instead, he went to him willingly but not without sending a cool signal to us.

"Now...." Felix raised his head the smile on his face vanished as he met our gazes. "....Let's talk business."

"I have no business to discuss with you!" Dorian snarled. "Give me my boy."

I scanned my Gio's body from afar. I checked to see if my son had been harmed but there was no scratch on him. He looked fine. As soon as I was sure that he was unscathed, my mind returned to the conversation going on around me.

"Indeed you do love the boy," Felix nods. "The news was right." Dorian stood unfazed and listened to Felix rant.

"What do you want?!" I shouted.

I've had enough of this rubbish and I've seen enough of this animal. I want him gone from our pack and I want my son back.

The force in me grew stronger and I could barely hold back from throwing a punch to his face. Joanne wanted to deal with the animal that has my son hostage but I managed to keep her in.

"Give me the pack and I'll give you back the boy."

At first, I thought he sounded ridiculous but now I'm sure he is demented.

"What pack?" Dorian pretended like he didn't understand what he meant.

"Give me Dark Flame and I'll give you your boy."

Is he kidding?

Does he want Dark Flame Pack in exchange for my son?

Oh my. He picked the wrong child.

Dorian stomped his feet and dashed forward. "You can't have my pack!"

"And you won't have your boy." He chuckled.

"Says who?" Aaron interjected before any of us could speak. "Who says we won't be getting my brother back?"

Felix raised his brow and his eyes looked wide as he stared at Aaron.

"Oh, I didn't see that coming," he gasped. "I didn't know we had another one."

Felix seemed surprised yet excited by Aaron's presence.

"Well, now you do," Giovanni replied as he got up to his feet. "And now I think I've had enough fun in your camp. I want to go home."

I frowned as my monotonous son spoke such a long sentence.

"You want to go home?" Felix laughed out loud. "Well...." Felix grabbed Giovanni by the neck. "If there's anyone to decide if you would go home or not, then it's me."

Giovanni's eyes shone dangerously as he stomped his feet and intentionally stepped on Felix's toes as he screamed in response to Felix's words, "I can go home when I want!"
