"I can go home when I want!"
Felix frowned and released Giovanni. His eyes settled on his probably wounded foot as he said, "Really?"
Before I could realize what was happening, I was in front of Felix, sending him off with a kick.
He was back to his feet in an instant and he eyed me with surprise. "Did you just do that?"
"I'll do a lot more than kick you if you touch my kid," I replied, putting my anger on display.
"Wow brother, you got yourself a strong one there." His eyes went towards me and Giovanni and he nodded with acknowledgement. "And this one is ......"
I closed my eyes and focused my mind on Felix and the things I wanted to do to him for setting his greedy eyes on my home and for touching my son.
I heard his screams and opened my eyes to see him being thrown around by no one. The loud cracking of bones could be heard as he fell and went back into the air.
"What are you doing to me!" His voice lacked its earlier audaciousness as he spoke.
I ignored him and took Giovanni's hand and we both returned to Dorian's side. Aaron hugged Giovanni and Dorian lifted him in his arms. I heard his loud sigh of relief as he helped Giovanni.
"Stop please!" Felix begged.
I made him stay put with a single glance.
"Take your soldiers and leave here and I'll stop the torture."
Felix didn't seem like he heard all I was saying. He was trying to fix his broken bones and bring himself back to shape.
"You freaky bitch!" He snapped and dashed towards me.
I smiled as I imagined seeing him twisted with his leg hanging over his head.
I've always been a fan of gymnastics, but I never got to practice it. I think I can fulfil my dreams as a gymnast with Felix.
"You think you can break me by doing this?" Felix asked. "Look around Dorian. Your pack is at my mercy," he laughed.
Really? He thinks that we're at his mercy.
He isn't just demented. He is delusional too.
To think that he believes that he could win this fight against the Dark Flame Pack. I mean, the pack is filled with strong Gamma and Delta wolves plus the pack has a secret passage where the members of the pack can hide and be safe.
Who is this fool going to hurt if there's no one around?
I guess he isn't aware of the reason why the pack has been at the top for years. If he is Dorian's brother as he claims then he should know this, shouldn't he?
Why isn't he aware of the important facts of the pack?
"You're wrong, Felix. My pack is never at the mercy of anyone," Dorian was unfazed.
He was relaxed and didn't care that there were over two thousand soldiers in the pack fighting and probably hurting his pack members.
However, I share his firmness. Because I believe that the pack members must be safe and if there is anyone to be found in the pack, then it's the Dark Flame soldiers and scouts.
"If you think you're so strong, Dorian, step out of this witch's shadow and fight me fairly."
I think I just heard the joke of the century. Look who's asking for a fair fight. The same man who brought thousands of soldiers to fight an unprepared pack is asking for fairness. The animal who took a six-year-old hostage stands here and is asking for fairness.
"I will fight you, Felix, only if you ask your soldiers to stop attacking my people," Dorian replied.
"I'll do it!" Felix screamed. "Ask her to stop!"
I have no tendency to hurt people in me, but seeing Felix, I couldn't help but want to snap his neck.
"Stand down!" He yelled for the soldiers around us.
I looked around and noticed that we were surrounded and I suddenly found this interesting.
Joanne was at the edge and I let her stay close. Because I know the likes of this idiotic Felix. They are good at backstabbing and I wouldn't be surprised if he attacks any of us when we aren't looking.
Another man dressed in a different attire from the other soldiers came bearing a strange-looking horn. He blew some air in it and it made a loud humming sound.
I bet it's a signal.
Was he calling the soldiers back from attacking the pack or was he calling for more soldiers to attack the pack?
At Dorian's signal, I stepped back with the pups giving room for him to step forward for the fight.
It's normal to have a duel such as this in the werewolf world. When a wolf challenges the Alpha of a pack, and if he loses then the challenger becomes the new alpha of the pack.
I don't know how Dorian is related to this heinous Felix and why he thinks he has a right to the pack, but I will not stand by and let him lose the pack to this animal named Felix.
"You'll get your stinky rogue self out of my pack after this or I won't show you mercy anymore."
Dorian sounded like he didn't want to fight him. Maybe they are indeed related.
"I might," Felix shrugged. "Or I might plant more spies around... Who knows?"
Oh... So that's how he got close to attacking the pack.
He has spies in the pack.
"I already showed you mercy before and now. There won't be a third time." Dorian warned.
Wait. Did I hear that right?
Dorian showed him mercy before? Where? How? Has he attacked the pack before? Why didn't I know this? Where was I when this happened?
My mind was filled with questions.
Could it be that this happened before I arrived in the pack?
"Oh, brother." Felix chuckled as he dusted himself clean of dirt. "If I give up so easily, I wouldn't be called the rogue king, would I?"
