I made my way towards the bathroom and locked the door. I knew it won’t stop him for long. He would probably start yelling any minute now and orders me to come out.
I sat down and leaned my back on the tub. My head was between my knees and tears blurred my vision. I should not be weak and crying like this but I can not help it at the moment. The recent changes were too much but I held on. What went down this morning was too much for me to get over in a few hours. I didn’t know what to expect from my supposed mate but I knew he was up to no good.
A soft knock on the door broke the spell of my thoughts but ignored it. It was him. I could feel his presence. It didn’t take long before a key turned in the door and it opened. I didn’t know how it happened since the other key was still inside the door on the inside but it opened anyway. He looked down at me with a grim expression.
“Haven’t you heard about privacy, alpha?” I asked wiping the tears of my face and standing up. I looked at him with every ounce of courage I could master up in my current state.
“you can not lock me out of my own bathroom, Morena.” He answered not sounding as angry as I thought he would be.
“I just want to be left alone. Is that too much to ask for?” I retorted weakly, Not keeping eye contact.
He didn’t say anything and just walked towards me. he gently lifted my chin up so I would look straight into his eyes. His beautiful grey orbs.
“Let’s talk in the room. there is no use for you to stay here locked up.” He said ever so gently. it was the first time he addressed me. In such manner. I felt butterflies doing flips In my stomach. he was beautiful But also very cruel. He Let go of me and left the bathroom. I followed after him. I was still in a daze from how soft his voice was. He was sitting on the edge of the bed. I stood still by the door, not knowing what to do. he stared at me for a bit. His expression looked conflicted. As if not knowing what to do next.
“Come here.” He ushered me close to him after a while of contemplating.
I moved as if I was on auto pilot. Excitement simmering in my bones. Something was about to happen. And by the tone of his voice, I hoped it was something good. Hopefully, he was not luring me into a trap.
I stood in front of him. He was looking down so I could not get a glimpse of his expression . He reached out and pulled me into him. I was startled by the action and could bot react in time so I fell into him, straddling his lap. It felt so uncomfortable yet thrilling. His head was buried in my neck and his breath was fanning my flesh. My heart was racing non stop and I was sure he could hear it as well. His heartbeat was calm though. Everything about his demeanor was cold and it scared me.
Suddenly his lips started brushing against my skin. They were very soft and I had to fight off a shiver that threatened to take over me. His touches soon turned into feather like kisses. And a small moan escaped me when he kissed a certain spot in my neck. He answered me with a growl. The sexiest sound I had ever heard. I did not like where this was going. I should not be having a reaction like this after what he did to me.
I started squirming trying to get away from him but he held me down in his lap, letting out an even fiercer sound out of him.
“Sit straight, mutt. Or you won't like what happens next.” He said, slightly hitting my ass. Was he threatening to spank me again? I was not ready for that by any means so I sat still for now. I would stop him if goes any further though.
