Third Person's POV
"Now?" Sunny's head buzzed, wishing she could just faint on the spot.
She knew that once they went, the hidden secrets would likely be exposed. Faced with Leo's insistent attitude, she didn't know how to refuse, her heart filled with panic and helplessness.
Sunny reached for her phone, but suddenly, a hand as strong as a vise clamped down on her slender wrist, gripping it tightly.
Leo's voice was as cold as a winter wind, "That's right, now. You lead the way."
Sunny considered pretending not to know anyone named Teresa, but her mother had already revealed everything.
There was no room to feign ignorance.
She forced a laugh, suppressing her inner turmoil, "I'm feeling a bit dizzy now, could we...?"
"No, Sunny. I want you to lead the way right now." Leo's voice grew even colder, the threat in his tone leaving no room for doubt.
"Alright," Sunny sighed, reluctantly agreeing.
Her heart pounded, and she desperately wanted to warn Olivia to leave, not to be caught by Leo so soon.
She hadn't forgotten his promise to make Olivia's life a living hell.
"Hand over both your phones to me," Leo seemed to see through her thoughts and demanded coldly.
"You can't..."
"Of course I can!" Leo didn't give her a chance to resist, his voice hard and resolute, "She might be the one who murdered my father. Sunny, do you understand how serious this is? She's broken the law, taken a life. It wouldn't be too much to ask for her to pay with her own."
Sunny's heart ached, as if being torn apart.
Her small hands clenched tightly, trying to meet Leo's furious, bloodshot eyes, but she couldn't find the courage.
Indeed, Olivia had admitted that Marc's death was connected to the bottle of wine she had brought.
Even if Olivia denied tampering with the wine, who would believe her?
Sunny's insides twisted in agony.
"Sunny, did you know from the beginning where she was hiding? Did you deliberately keep it from me?" Seeing her hesitation, Leo yanked her towards him, his voice as cold as ice, his grip on her wrist so tight it felt like it would shatter her fragile bones.
Sunny's brows furrowed in pain, shaking her head desperately, but tears of fear still streamed down her face, leaving her speechless.
Because to say no would be a lie.
However, her answer seemed irrelevant to Leo. Silence spoke volumes.
"You..." Leo's anger reached its peak, and he abruptly released her.
Sunny lost her balance and fell to the ground, her eyes brimming with tears.
She lowered her head and began to cry out loud.
"Take me to her right now. If you can't find her, get out of my sight!" Leo's expression was terrifying, his trust in her shattered by her deception.
Sunny was terrified.
Although they had their disputes before, she had never seen him look so fearsome, as if he were about to devour her.
She wiped the tears from her face and shakily stood up.
"I'm sorry!" Sunny sobbed.
"Come with me!" Leo didn't want her apology. It was meaningless now. She had deceived him after all.
Sunny was forcibly dragged towards the door by him, tears streaming down her face.
Several people outside witnessed the scene, their faces filled with shock.
They didn't know what Sunny had done wrong, but Leo's dark expression was too intimidating, leaving them too scared to even greet him. They could only watch as he pulled Sunny, stumbling, into the elevator.
In the parking lot, Leo roughly threw her into the car. Sunny was dazed from the impact but didn't resist. They just sat quietly inside.
"Where's the destination?" Leo's voice was icy.
Sunny mustered her strength and quietly guided the way.
As Leo's sports car exited the highway, they could see an almost abandoned farm in the distance.
"That's the place." Sunny closed her eyes, silently apologizing in her heart.
It seemed she ultimately betrayed Olivia. She hoped Olivia wouldn't hold a grudge.
Hearing her words, Leo's handsome face darkened menacingly, as if a storm was about to break.
Just as Leo's car arrived, several more black sedans also pulled off the highway.
Sunny glanced at the conspicuous license plates, knowing one of them was Blake's car.
It was all over. Blake had come too.
The black sedans parked domineeringly outside the farm gate, and sure enough, it was Blake who stepped out, along with his ever-present personal bodyguards.
Leo got out of the car without a second glance at Sunny, who was still sitting inside.
She quickly followed, getting out of the car and looking at Blake's face, which was equally gloomy and unpleased.
The farm gate was unlocked, and Blake and Leo strode inside.
Sunny's heart leaped into her throat. It was all over. Olivia was definitely going to be caught.
