My Mate Has Two Wolves

Chapter 384

Ch. 384 / 530 May 01, 2026

Third Person's POV

"What's wrong? Did you eat something cold?" Benjamin received the call early in the morning, and his face instantly filled with concern as he anxiously asked.

"Maybe. I should have known better than to drink that iced milk yesterday," Eda complained, full of regret.

"Wait there. I'm coming to get you!" Without a moment's delay, Benjamin hurriedly got out of bed and started getting dressed.

"Come pick me up at the company. I'll head there first." Eda said before hanging up and driving towards the office.

At half past nine, Benjamin appeared at the door of Eda's office, dressed in a dark blue suit. He looked young, handsome, and had that charming, youthful vibe.

Eda was sitting listlessly in her office chair. A flicker of relief crossed her eyes when she saw him enter.

"Are you here?" Ever since she had been with Benjamin, Eda's aura had changed. Once a no-nonsense, strong-willed career woman, she now exuded a touch of gentleness that complemented her beautiful face, making her mature and elegant—definitely a man-turner.

Unfortunately for other men, only Benjamin could catch her eye.

Any other guy trying to impress her would only receive her cold stare.

But when she saw Benjamin, the queen's face would soften like sunshine melting snow, becoming tender and comforting.

"Where does it hurt? Let's get to the hospital quickly," Benjamin said, his voice full of concern.

"Let's go. I'm not in the mood to work. I can't concentrate," Eda said, frowning in distress.

As the two left the office, they immediately drew everyone's attention. The handsome man and beautiful woman made a striking pair, like a beautiful scenery that could lift anyone's spirits just by a glance.

Eda had a stronger presence than Benjamin, but he had the advantage in height, being a full head taller than her. Even with her high heels, she only reached his earlobe, making their heights a perfect match.

"Wait a minute. I feel like throwing up again!" Passing by the restroom, Eda quickly went inside, her face twisted in discomfort.

Benjamin stood outside, hearing her painful retching. His face was full of anxiety and worry.

What on earth was going on? Why had she suddenly fallen so ill?

He wished he could get to the hospital and know the result immediately.

After vomiting for a while, Eda paused, catching her breath. She looked up at the mirror, her eyes already tearful.

"Goodness me!" Eda had always been healthy, rarely even catching a cold throughout the year. But now, she looked pale and miserable, and for a moment, she thought she might have some incurable disease.

Her face turned even paler as she imagined the worst.

Thinking this, Eda walked out stiffly, her eyes staring straight at Benjamin.

Seeing her dazed expression, Benjamin immediately asked, "What's wrong? Do you feel worse?"

Eda suddenly grabbed his hand. "Benjamin, if I'm beyond saving, let's break up early. I don't want you to see me ravaged by illness."

"Eda, what are you talking about?" Benjamin was startled, his face turning pale as well.

Eda said miserably, "I just have this feeling that my illness might be serious."

"No, it's not. No matter what, I'll be with you. Let's go!" Benjamin said firmly.

Benjamin and Eda hurried to the hospital by car. As soon as they arrived, they drew quite a few glances.

Eda, in her business attire, had her long black hair casually draped over her shoulders. Her delicate features, porcelain skin, and bright red lips made her look like a glamorous movie star. But since she was a career woman, many people mistook her for a famous actress.

Standing beside her, Benjamin was equally eye-catching, tall and handsome, a definite focal point.

After registering, they waited outside the hospital and entered the doctor's office when their number was called.

The doctor inquired about Eda's condition, and she detailed her recent symptoms.

The doctor glanced at Benjamin and asked, "Are you her boyfriend?"

Eda nodded. "Yes!"

"Miss Twitty, you might be pregnant. Let's run a blood test to confirm," the doctor suggested.

"What? Pregnant?" Eda's voice rose sharply, her face turning ghostly pale as if she had been struck by lightning.

Benjamin, standing beside her, also had a complicated look on his face.

The entire office of doctors was taken aback by Eda's scream. It was hard to believe that such a beautiful woman could let out such a panicked shriek.

Benjamin clenched his fist and brought it to his lips, trying to calm Eda down in a low voice. "Eda, don't get so worked up. Let's just follow the doctor's advice and get the blood test done."

"But how could this happen? We always used protection," Eda's beautiful eyes were filled with fear as she muttered to herself, though loud enough for everyone in the office to hear.

This made Benjamin's handsome face turn bright red.

"Shall I write a prescription for the blood test?" the doctor quickly asked.

"Yes, please," Benjamin replied directly.

After getting the prescription, Benjamin gently wrapped his arm around Eda as they walked out of the doctor's office.

Eda was still in a daze, clearly shocked by the news.

"Which time? Which time was it? Was it in the bathtub? Or on the sofa... or maybe on the balcony..."
