SOPHIA CASTILLO
"Omg!" I heard Annabella's gasping.
I lifted my head to see that she was staring at me and then at her phone and back at me and her phone again and I wondered the reason for her actions.
"I must be seeing wrong or not," she slapped her cheek lightly as if trying to wake herself up.
"What is it?" I asked her.
"Sophia Castillo?" She called my full name and I stared at her with a questioning look on my face wondering why she had called me by my name and my surname.
"This isn't wrong. I am so dumb!" She hit her head.
"What's wrong?" I asked getting up from bed to see what it is that she was talking about.
"How could you Sophia? I know you are married but why didn't you tell me that you are married to Adrian Castillo!" She said and my heart skipped that minute.
I quickly rushed to see what was on her phone and my eyes widened slightly.
On the headline was boldly written; Adrian Castillo with his wife attending the opening event of Marcus Stravinsky wine company.
An image of me and Adrian with his arms wrapped around my waist while I had a smile on my face was seen.
Oh my goodness, now I have a lot to explain to Annabella.
"You are married to Adrian Castillo? Now I understand why you said it was love after marriage. You are the daughter of the Cox family, aren't you?" She asked and I nodded my head.
"Why didn't you tell me? Why did you have to keep it a secret? Wow! I'm disappointed that you didn't deem it fit to tell. I mean I know we only just got to know each other and it's not up to three months but do you realize it's like half a year with you? Why Sophia?" She asked.
From the way she spoke, I could tell that she was disappointed.
"I had to keep it a secret so that I can live like every normal college student. It wasn't that I didn't trust you or it didn't cross my mind to tell you but I just didn't find the right time," I explained.
"You didn't find the right time? I've asked you for the image of your husband and at least a name but you never revealed anything I respected your privacy but it's fine. I get your reason," she said.
"I'm very sorry Annabella. I didn't mean for you to find it this way," I apologized.
"It's fine. So tell me, how is it like being married to him?" She asked inquisitively and suddenly the tension in the room earlier vanished.
"Well, it's like being married," I chuckled not knowing how to describe it to her.
"Excuse you? I'm not married remember," she reminded and I chuckled lightly.
"I know that," I told her.
"When did you both fall in love? Is it like every normal cliche story you read in a billionaire romance novel?" She asked and I chuckled.
"No. Not at all. It's not the type where the male lead fell in love at first sight with the female lead and claimed her," I tell her.
"Or really? So how was yours?" She asked interested.
I sighed. "I hated the color blue until lately. Adrian was very mean to me. When I think of it, it's funny how time has changed," I tell her.
"He was mean? How mean? Physically mean to you by hitting you or emotionally mean to you?" She asked and I quickly shook my head.
"Not at all. Adrian never raised his hands on me. He never shouts. I have never heard him shout but the way he spoke them was more terrifying than someone shouting at you," I tell her.
"You do not mean it," she tells me.
"On the night of our wedding, I can still remember how much I cried. I barely slept. He was very mean to me. He told me to not consider myself his wife because he knows girls like me and he said my eyes were the ugliest," I chuckled when I recalled that moment in the room and how he had teased me.
To think he was able to ignite my feelings with a lot of feelings all at the same time.
"So now you are both good with one another right? I mean of course, with how you are always smiling at your phone and how you speak on the phone and the way he looked at you at the image I saw, it's all love," she said with her palm placed on her chest.
I giggled. "You are talking as if it's your story and yes we are good now. He asked me to remarry him and put another ring on my finger," I lifted my ring finger for her to see.
"And that night, we got married again. He said we are now married for the right reasons. I'm in love with him," I told her blushing.
"Awww. I can see it. I wonder when I will find my prince charming," she cooed and I chuckled.
"I didn't know you were married to him and I'm surprised. So you are going to keep it a secret until you graduate right?" She asked.
"Yes. He agreed too. I am just Sophia right now and he is the support of anything and that's one of the many reasons why I love him. I mean I can't count the number of reasons why I love him so much. Anytime I think about him, I smile. Anytime I hear his voice, I am happy and when I do not hear from him, I'm worried. I love him so much. To think I'd find love at this age, I'm so happy," I tell her with Adrian's face vividly in my head and mind.
"That's so nice. Anyways I have a shoot by eleven, so I will be leaving now," she said, getting up from the bed to get prepared.
The room became quiet once again when Annabella left. Adrian told me he won't be able to talk to me today because he would be extremely busy but once he is done, he would get back to me.
It's been over two weeks since I did birth control with Adrian by my side but we haven't had sex since then.
I've been feeling horny lately too but on the weekend, I go back home, he is either busy and we end up not spending much time with one another.
I've been thinking of going to his office one of the weekdays to see him since we barely have time for one another.
The last time I was by his side was on Saturday and the day we went for Marcus Stravinsky wine opening.
Maybe I should go tomorrow, I thought to myself. I sighed deeply but my face lit up immediately when my phone screen lit up.
FROM THE LOML: I have a fifteen minute break. Are you busy now?
I instantly sent a reply to him.
TO THE LOML: No, I am free. Have you eaten?
He told me he wasn't able to have breakfast because be rushed out of the house today.
FROM THE LOML: No, I haven't.
I panicked and hastily typed a reply.
TO THE LOML: What? You haven't eaten? Do you know what the time is? Why won't you go get food with your fifteen minute break?
FROM THE LOML: relax baby girl. I will eat something. I am meeting with a friend at 2 pm so we will eat there.
TO THE LOML: Who is this friend of yours? And why do you have to wait till 2 pm? Adrian goes and gets something to eat or I won't be happy with you.
FROM THE LOML: Stop making it seem like I'm starving. I will eat. I want to talk to you. How are you? I've missed you. Two days without you feels like two months already. Spending a week with you is difficult and I'm starting to have a love fever
I couldn't help but giggle.
TO THE LOML: You have been doing well so far. We will be together forever in no time. And I miss you too.
I inserted five love emojis.
FROM THE LOML: Okay. No time feels like forever to me and it's breaking my heart. I just want to wrap my arms around you and kiss you.
TO THE LOML: What are you doing tomorrow? Are you going to be at your office or you will be going out?
FROM THE LOML: I will be at the office tomorrow. Is there a problem?
There was no problem. I'm going to surprise him tomorrow by going to him. I've missed him so much and his touch.
TO THE LOML: No. There is no problem at all. I am just asking for the sake of it.
FROM THE LOML: Okay sweetheart. We will talk later. Enjoy your day and I will talk to you later.
