I was still reading the book when the door of my room cracked open. According to this book, the dark realm was the most beautiful planet, there was green all around, and many lives stayed there with dark creatures, everyone was holding power there but no one was stronger than The dark king in the entire universe. That's cool. It also tells that his mate would always be a human and will gain a particular gift after completing the ceremony. The queen, Dastien's mother, is a light wolf. They are always white and gifted with powers. And a queen will always give birth to twin boys. One of them will be a light wolf and powerful. But not stronger than his twin and strongest than anyone.
"You have read very little, Em." I was startled to hear a voice in my room and my head jerked up.
Silver in all her beauty was smiling down at me. Her eyes moved from the book to the tray. "I didn't mean to startle you." She sat on the couch and plucked the magazine from it.
"I didn't know he was serious."
"You should know your mate, Sister-in-law." She said, turning the pages.
I stared at her long. "Are you his sister?" I asked. But her eyes weren't matching with him or his mother's.
"Nope, he's my mate's elder brother." She said.
His twin, I didn't know he was my sister's mate. I saw him, they looked the same. But he doesn't attract me the way Darkice does. I could tell the difference between them easily.
"Who's his brother? This book says his mother will beget twins. Was it twins again?"
She looked up at me from behind the magazine and smiled. "Yes, they were twins. Alessandro, he's my mate and Edward is his twin."
"Edward?" It shocked me. I considered him a relative. I liked Alessandro. He's a good man and takes my side, too sometimes, he has saved me too. But Edward, Er... I don't like him much.
She laughed. "It's his nature. You'll get used to him around you. He's a sweet boy."
"Sweet?" My voice boomed in the room. "He's an arrogant ass. I really feel bad for Elizabeth. Poor girl."
Her eyes widened but she reined in her emotions immediately as a smile touched her lips. "I can't wait for you to remember everything from your previous life." Happiness shone in her eyes.

She nodded. "You can talk to him in your head without anyone around you letting know."
"But I like it like this. You must be doing this when you are alone in your room."
She shook her head. "Only he could do this. Even you won't be able to hear him if he speaks out."
"Oh," Dumbfounded, I stared at her.
"Well, I could smell pizza. Your parents are also getting impatient to see you but they wanna give you space. You should show them your face. It would calm their fear." she said.
I closed the book and slid down. "Fear?" I asked.
"I just sense that." She walked over to the door and cracked it wide open.
"Were you friends?" I knew the answer.
"BFF. Like sisters. Partners in crimes" Her smile was ear to ear and it dropped immediately as she lost in her thoughts.
"And Edward?" I tried to divert her mind, holding a smirk.
"Tom and Jerry. Gosh! You were so stubborn. And Edward is always an angry bird." she said.
I chuckled. "Poor Elizabeth."
"But he's a different person with her. You'll see." We took the stairs.
They looked up at us and their eyes halted on me. Daddy L got on his feet and let out a long sigh.
"Rhiannon told us that you were scared. I.." I cut him off.
"Nothing to worry about. I just freaked out hearing him in my head. I thought someone was in my room. It frightened me. I'm sorry. Did I spoil the meeting?" I chewed on my lower lip.
"No, it was almost wrapped. Did you eat?" She asked.
"Yes, " I nodded.
"I'll be in the kitchen if you need me." Mother paced away.
He wasn't looking convinced as he kept looking at me. I felt nervous under his gaze. He was frightened. I am scared of what the future is holding for me. If I was reborn, would I die again? Or after my eighteenth birthday, I would be cursed again.
"Oh, I forgot to tell you that Elizabeth has planned to shop. Emma can join us. Right?" Silver asked Daddy L.
"If she wants to go." He kept his gaze on me.
What is troubling him? I could ask Silver later.
"Yes, dinner has time and it's not dark yet." I told them.
A horn blew outside the house. "They're here." Silver declared.
"Let me grab my purse." I took the stairs back to my room.
Grasping it from my closet, I hurried down the stairs. He was still standing near the end of the last step. Mother was whispering something to him and rubbing her hand on his shoulder. They looked up at me and smiled to cover it.
I could feel the tension in the air. "Is everything alright?" I asked. Though, I know they wouldn't tell me a thing.
"Yes," Mother smiled and held out a card for me. "You may need this." She offered a small smile.
"I already have five cards. " One from my mother, second from Daddy C, third from Drake and Jasper, and last one from Daddy L.
"Oh, yes. I forgot. But keep it." She shoved it in my hand.
He nodded his head. He wasn't saying a thing and it was making me nervous.
I grabbed it because they wouldn't let me out until I took it. I kissed her cheek and took Daddy for a quick hug. "I'm fine." I told him.
Another long sigh left his body and he nodded his head. I turned to the door when the horn blew again.
My feet stumbled when I saw Aidan behind the wheel. "I don't know he's coming with us." I said.
"Is it a disappointment?" He asked with a smirk.
"No, no one told me." I got in the back seat with Silver. "You're going to carry our bags." I tried to hold back the smile.
"Hell, no, girl." He yelled looking shocked which made us all laugh.
Two hours, and I haven't purchased anything yet. I moved to the next shop. Elizabeth and Silver are looking for more gowns, dresses, and shorts. Aidan went to the parking lot to place the bags.
"Hello," A shiver slithered down my spine. The hair on my nape rose.
My head jerked left, looking for the source of the voice. My big eyes drifted around but there were people surrounding me and no one was paying attention to me.
"Did you miss me?" Fear ran down my spine again hearing a husky voice. I whipped my head around in shock and fear.
A familiar set of eyes stared at me. I stepped back to run away. His hand grasped around my arm and his other hand clapped over my mouth. I pushed him on his chest but he didn't move an inch. I looked over his shoulder. No one was looking our way. It felt as if they couldn't hear me, and didn't notice us, him.
Abruptly, my legs refused to take my weight. I was about to fall. He tightened his arm around my waist. The darkness engulfed me.
