Fire Wolf Series

Chapter 140

Ch. 140 / 150 Sep 27, 2024

His eyes narrowed a fraction as a hurdle of shapeless dark creatures advanced toward them. He lifted his hands, slamming them again on the black ground. The waves of fire formed, riding away from him, aiming at them.

The dark shapeless forms end in ashes burning them into it. He senses that something has happened to his mate.

"Royal, Emersyn. They couldn't find her." He heard Alessandro.

He turned to face him with an even harder expression. His wrath emerged out with the waves of heat from his body. The waves move around him in amber, red, and yellow color. He reached for his mate bond. Nothing, it was silence from the other side. She was in trouble. He knew.

A wave of fierce anger rose through him. He was aware that someone had taken her against her will.

Using his power, he disappeared and appeared in Dawson's house where she should be safe right now.

Dawson was yelling orders at his men. He is looking like hell. His red eyes were glaring at them. His wife was crying her eyes out. Silver and Elizabeth were pacing here and there. They stopped pacing. All heads bow at his sight. Dread crawled on all faces.

He sensed the air and their thoughts. A bolt of fear ran through him.

"We don't know where she is? It felt she's..." Silver choked.

Her words made Katherine sob harder.

His feet shot near the couch and he pinned him with a dark glare. "You were supposed to protect her." His animalistic growl shook the earth, shattering everything in the room, scaring the hell out of everyone around him.

"Yes, " He stopped typing on the laptops and turned the display to him. "This happened. He used a powerful spell. A spell only a light wolf knows from Dark Realm." Aidan said, gulping in fear. His hands were trembling making it shiver in his hold.

His jaw ticked in a deadly way. "Eamonn," He growled, making everything rattle around him.

"Eamonn? Your uncle's son? Why would he do this? She's in the Dark Realm? We have to go there." Lance peered at the screen with his bloodshot eyes. His fisted hands were shaking in rage. The air around him was mingled with his fear and anger. He was scared of losing his daughter again and angry that he couldn't protect her.

It wasn't certain that he was Cyril's son. Some people called the illegitimate children of King Chris.

" With our magic, I could restore only this. He... He wouldn't have expected this." Silver said.

"Please, take us with you." Elizabeth said in a beseeching voice.

He was still glaring at the display. It was clearly showing how he cast a spell around himself so no one could see them when he took her away, disappearing into thin air.

His animal growl startled them. A deep v formed between his brows.

"You can break the block that you must be feeling with the help of a witch and fae's power." Katherine muttered, sobbing.

He curled his hand around his neck and lifted him up from the couch. Aidan was hanging in the air. He didn't try to struggle though his face began to turn red.

"Ember won't like it if you hurt her friend." Sisily said, in her cracked tone.

Another frustrated growl left his throat and he blinked his eyes. He was returned to the Dark realm. He yanked Aidan away from himself. It made a big pit in the dark land where he slammed and fell. He brought his brothers' mates and Aiden with him.

"I don't need anyone's help to reach my mate." He said in a deadly low voice.

Elizabeth and Silver were frozen on their feet looking at them in horror. They knew he would destroy everything beyond restoration.

"She's in the Dark wood." He heard Aidan.

He hunched down. A wave of anger slammed through his palms as he rested them on the ground. He closed his eyes and let his powers show him every corner of his world including the Dark wood which was the central part of it.

He felt hands on his shoulders. A small wave of power seeped through him which increased his ability to feel and see in the prohibited area too. He still couldn't discover who was deterring him from his own land. Only a king could put restrictions on other kings.

He saw a dark castle made of dark and grey stones in the middle of the Dark Woods. His gaze wandered to every corner. He saw many figures moving in dark cloaks. But it wasn't his priority for now. He reached for his mate. The sense of her was getting stronger the closer he moved. It led him to a dark room. He felt her unconscious there.

"Stepbrother, I was waiting for this. But you won't be able to reach here." He heard a deep, low voice.

His brows merged together in confusion and exasperation. He doesn't know any brothers except Dyson, Alessandro, Edward, and his Alpha companions.

He felt a strong power matching him but it was far from him but the men around him were carrying dark power which was always considered a sign of ominousness. The strong barrier was pushing him away from the place, his mate.

His body jerked back, the hands yanked back from his shoulders. His expressions were deadly serious. His fisted hands clenched tight that turned his knuckles white. His rage was at its peak, seeing a stranger around his mate.

"Did you see her?" Elizabeth asked, looking pretty drained. Edward was already at her side, comforting his mate.

Aidan's knees were dug deep in the dark soil. He was breathing shallows.

"War," He said in his deep low, meaningful voice. He drew on his feet. The gust of wind told him the presence of two people.

He pivoted and his gaze turned to them. His eyes turned furious at his side. He strode ahead with the speed of a blink. His hand shot up and tightened around his neck. He never felt the desire to kill so many people at the same time. Lifting him up in the air, he yanked him away like a wasted water bottle.

He screeched on the ground, making a two feet dug line on the ground. He cursed under breath and lifted his body on his elbows to get up. "It's not what you're thinking. Otherwise, I wouldn't have come with aunt."

Queen Miuccia didn't try to interrupt. Her green eyes stayed on her son.

He moved with the speed of light. His face darkened, and his eyes flashed fire. "You touched her, put her in the darkroom." His crude voice made the ground tremble. He wasn't in the mood of negotiation. He wrapped his hand around his neck and hit his head hard down. Fire danced around his grip, running through the gap of his fingers smoothly like running water.

"Dastien, that's enough. He's here to help. We have to save her." Queen Miuccia said.

His eyes flashed amber. His mother has never addressed him with this name. His cold glare turned to her. "Help? He took her away from me." He knew she was frightened of the dark. It took her into another world.

"It's your uncle. Who interfered years ago when she split her soul. He can't lie to you. Let. Him. Go." His mother used her commanding voice.

He sniffed the air. "You don't believe a word he said about him. " he told his mother. He could scent her emotions. He wanted to believe sensing it so strongly that Cyril wouldn't do this.

She flinched and kept looking at him longer with her big green eyes. Her gaze lowered recalling that her son was aware of her feelings.

He yanked his head hard and glared daggers at him. "I'll kill everyone." He whispered in his threatening voice. His face set in a deadly scowl. He turned to his mother. He wondered who else knew about it.

"We don't have much time. Before he performs the full ceremony with her, we have to move the time. And brilliant! We have a gorgeous fae, an average witch but powerful, and your alpha mates. You have me and your mother too, King."

Edward growled at him and forwarded his steps. Elizabeth stopped him, curling her arm around his bicep. "Eamonn, stop joking. We have to find her."

"He already knows." Edward snarled, glaring at him.

"We need him." Alessandro whispered.

"We have many ways. We don't need to be nice to him." Daniel said.

"Should I start?" Carlos asked with a lopsided smile. His gaze never left him.

"No, Carlos." Jasper wanted to kill him. Drake was reining in his anger. He wanted to throw a punch and punch until he started spilling the truth.

He jumped on his feet and shook his head. "Keeping her secure is more important than finding her."

He has doubts about trusting Eamonn but he's certain that he is The Dastien, The Dark King.

"We're running out of time." His mother reminded him.

His body stiffened when he heard her clear voice in his head. 'Dastien!' It couldn't hide her pain.

Rage slithered through him. 'Syn,' He called her name, blocking his rage part from reaching her.

It was blocked immediately. His jaw clenched, painfully. It left him unsettled and furious. She was in pain and he could feel it.

He heard her painful shout in his head again. Closing his eyes, he used his powers to reach her.

'Syn, open your eyes.' She was in pain. He could feel her fear through the bond. He was regretting now that why he wasn't gone for the full ceremony?

He didn't need to ask to know that she was in pain. His body lit up with fire as he felt anger beyond his control. He closed his eyes and reached for the bond to reach her he did before to see his mate.

The side of her waist was hurting badly. It was unbearable for her. A faded memory flashed in the back of his head. She was hurt before. His mate could take her pain. But he wasn't certain as they hadn't completed or reached the mating ceremony. He tried it anyway.

He heard gasps from his mother. "Dastien, is she hurt?" His mother asked, peering at the burning mark as it appeared on his side.

He relaxed as her body started to relax against the relief she felt. He took hold of her body. He watched the surroundings through her eyes. He felt her astound. It was an empty room. His eyes rested on the dark figures standing in the dark near the wall.

He looked more closely through the walls, running his gaze as far as he could. He recognized him. He resembled his father, whom he usually met in his dreams. His uncle Cyril, who was a dark wolf and more powerful than his father and a cruel person. He died years ago. No one knows how and when. But he was alive. It was another mystery to solve. He blinked, returning to him, the man who hurt his mate.

He fixed him with a sharp glare. 'You touched my mate! You hit her!' He growled under his breath.

"It's impossible." Valentino yelled.

He scented his anger and confusion. He moved her body in the speed of a blink and curled her hand around his neck. He propelled him away with impossible strength. "I'll make you regret every single breath you inhaled around my mate." he growled in warning. Her body wasn't strong enough to endure this. He didn't want her in pain. So withdrew his hold.

"Dastien?" She shouted his name again. "Please, don't leave me here." Her pleading was holding her fear and helplessness.

'I won't, La Reina de mi Corazón.' Telling her, he opened his eyes. " Let's do this." His voice was full of command. He wants to kill Valentino. He kept the confusion under cover after seeing Cyril there.

"I should have told you." He cut off his mother.

"Later. Before I lose my calm, I need to strengthen the bond."

His mother nodded and they all made a circle around him.

"Not without me. Who would save you from the fire of the king?" Dyson appeared in thin air and he strode forward and lifted his hands in the air creating an invisible wall around them. So his magical hell fire couldn't burn them.

Dastien looked at his brother and nodded, silently thanking him in his head.

"Are you okay, Aidan?" Dyson rested his hand on his shoulder and helped him to his feet.

"M-uch better." His shocked eyes jumped between them. "Two Dastien," he muttered under his breath.

"We're twins. You must have heard him. You can stare later. We have to save the Queen first." Pulling him forward, they took their position completing the circle around him.

A source of powerful energy swirled, encircling him. The ground shook beneath him. He lifted his hands in the air. His mother began to pray to ancestors in Latin, murmuring under her breath.

When it was done, he lowered his hands. An impossible wave of powers swirled around him in the shape of fire. He opened his eyes, the iris was a pool of magma.

"I'm coming for your blood, Cyril." He snarled under his breath. He blinked his eyes, squashing the fire around him that imbued him with power. when he unfurled them they were forest green.
