'No cheating.' I told him in my head. I'm shy and apprehensive. I yearn for him to like me, and accept me the way I'm. Deep down I know, he will.

'No, I'm waiting outside.'

It set my heartbeat a little high. It was already pounding. I was endeavoring hard not to let him know this. He found a way.

"You're stunning," Elizabeth said, smiling. She drifted her eyes on me to detect any imperfections.

I was frightened and antsy visualizing his disapproval in my head. I gnawed on my lower lip when I turned to look at the mirror. The black gown is going with my curves, it's backless, with thin strips and a side slit reaching my upper thigh.

"We should go." Silver announced.

"He's already waiting outside." I muttered.

"You need to relax. He'll sense it." Lillith said, placing her hand on my shoulder.

"Should I help?" Elizabeth stepped forward.

I shook my head. He needs to accept me the way I am. I glanced down at my black dress.

"You're gorgeous. Don't think so much." Silver tugged me to the door.

My mothers haven't shown up. I hope to see them soon. One of the employees said they were busy designing the dress for the bride, the light queen.

I let them tug me out. My heart is going to explode today. It started to beat loud with every step out.

The air whooshed out of my body when my eyes met with him. He was always handsome but today was extra. He leaned against his black car. His strong arms were folded over his chest. His forest green eyes held my gaze.

A small tug on his lips calms the anxiety down in me. I blushed and cast my gaze low. No matter what, he'll always like me.

'True,' It's a blessing to hear it from him. I love him.

His confirmation ebbed away some of my tension, making me smile broadly. "Don't think too much." Lillith patted my arm and they paced over to Silver's car. They waved at me before getting in the car.

I nodded my head with a smile. My feet did not stop until I walked over to his car. I couldn't lift my gaze to him.

His eyes on me made my skin on fire. His arm curled around me and he pressed his lips on my forehead. I felt the rush of energy. It soothed the nerves down.

"You don't need to do this if you're not comfortable." His expression was softened.

I parted my lips to lie but he shook his head and opened the door for me. I glanced at him long before slipping in. The dress is too clingy. It could give anyone a hint of my body.

I felt tears piercing in my eyes. His hot breath caressed my face. He leaned forward and pressed his lips to mine. 'Relax. No one is going to look at you except me.'

Butterflies swirled in my stomach. I relaxed. Yes, I was very nervous. I haven't dressed up like this before. "I'm not used to these revealing dresses," I muttered, lowering my eyes to my lap. The strips were thin that were holding the dress. The neckline was deep, revealing the swells of mine.

He didn't say a word and turned to the steering wheel. The silence increased my nervous level. I felt tears rolling down my cheeks. I looked out of the window for distraction. He was driving so fast that I couldn't see clearly out of it.

It was dreading me. I couldn't tell him to slow it down. It was a stupid idea. I shouldn't agree to it. He's gonna dislike me for this. I'm stupid. I shouldn't take their advice. He would have loved it if it weren't me but someone else. He's different.

He pulled over the car. He left the door open. He strode around. My eyes set on him. He grasped the hem of his tee in exasperation and pulled it over his head. He yanked it away. Before it could meet the ground. It caught fire rapidly and it turned to ashes. The wind blows taking the back soil with it

My gaze raked over his tight abs, his muscular body glistening under the sunlight. The v shape of his body made my stomach clench.

He opened the door. He leaned over me. My wet eyes stared at him. His jaw ticked. Exhaling aggressively, he slid his arms under my back and thighs.

I curled my arms around him and buried my face in the crock of his neck. He kept striding. Where? I don't know. I didn't ask.

When he stopped, I lifted my head and peered around. We were in a house.

'Our secret place. It's restricted to everyone.' He said as he put me on my feet.

I pulled my head back. The room wasn't big but cozy. The small windows were revealing the beautiful view of the lake at some distance. We were surrounded by forest. I could see giant pots that were holding them.

There was only a large-size single mattress on the carpeted floor.

He was furious to see my tears, but he didn't ask. I took out my heels and walked over to the window. It was a calm place and so beautiful. It was matching the place where we met for the first time on the earth.

"Is it the..." I twirled to ask him. But my words died in my throat when I saw him holding his tee for me. Where did he bring it from?

"Put this on." He put it in my open palm and turned to leave.

Tears burn in my eyes. I clenched it in my hand. "You can say it on my face if you don't like me." My voice cracked and tears trailed down.

I inhaled sharply as he spun, staring at me with his fire-like eyes. His feet moved with a light speed.

He scooped me up, whirling, he placed me on the edge of the counter. This happened with the speed of a blink that I didn't get to comprehend anything. All I was aware of was his touch on me.

Desire rippled through me. My swells were raising and falling with every single breath.

"You're not ready." He simply said with a clenched jaw.

"I'm damn ready. It's you who's making me nervous." I slapped on his chest.

He arched his brows. I leaned forward and raked my fingers on his abs. He's so strong, so handsome. He growled when I slid it down.

"You don't like me." I asked, peering up at him. There's no anger but calm in his eyes.

"I didn't say that." His growl sent shivers of desire down me.

"Then?" I asked in a whisper, curling my legs around his thighs to end the distance. He stepped forward. His chest pressed to mine. I relaxed more, feeling he wanted me too.

Silence hung between us as our gaze locked. My heart started pounding faster. I looked at him, the perfect angles of his face. I waited for him to move away or take a step forward. I want him to take us to the next level.

My heart dropped when he withdrew his hands. I went into a complete panic mood. It was replaced with astonishment when he scooped me up again rapidly and stared at me with love in his eyes.

My arms shot around his neck. The feeling of complete and utter safety cocooned me. He scowled. I could see some kind of battle going on within his gaze.

He was holding me to him with his arm around me. He lifted his hand. His thumb brushed over my skin in a feather-light touch. His eyes lingered on my exposed swells and rose to meet mine. There wasn't hate in his beautiful eyes but I felt his desire.

'I want you next to me the day I saw you, the day you were born. But you were so small. You needed your mother.' My eyes rounded hearing him. No one mentioned that we know each other. 'I want you the day I saw you looking happily at flowers. It was hard. But I controlled it behind my anger. And now!' His eyes roamed over me, his thumb kept caressing my skin. 'All I'm worried about you. I don't want you to hate me.' I snorted and he smiled, curling the corners of his lips. ' I want you the way you're. You don't need to change.'

I'm not dreaming. I told myself. I was flushed with happiness.

'No, I can't keep my hands off you.' He leaned over, his hand cupped my neck and he pulled me toward him for a kiss. My fingers touched his cheek. I felt adoration. I parted my lips. His tongue slid into my mouth as his other hand moved on my back, burning the dress without harming me. He deepened the kiss.
