Billionaire Love Affair with the Surrogate

One Hundred-Ten

Ch. 110 / 153 Mar 13, 2026

The food Randy and Jessie ordered already arrived, but he still didn’t receive a reply from the contact. His past assumption was probably true, Damon was only watching Randy’s moves because of suspicion.

So Randy eased his expression more and smiled more intimately at Jessie. When they started eating, he made sure his actions towards the woman were very attentive. He would personally put food on her plate and talk to her in gentle words.

When he noticed there was a sauce on Jessie’s lips, he took a napkin and wiped her lips himself.

Jessie was very embarrassed about Randy’s actions, but she liked it in her heart. There was a vivid blush on the woman’s face as she accepted Randy’s intimate actions with a happy heart.

Damon was only looking at them from the second floor with cold eyes. He scoffed at the man.

He felt funny for worrying about that man’s emotional intentions for Anya. It turns out, he was just a pathetic and foolish man. He doesn’t need to compete with such a lowly person.

He stood up from his seat and left the restaurant from a VIP exit. Damon didn’t pay any mind to the sickening acts of the two and went back to his office.

Back at Randy’s table, he was still acting with great enthusiasm. When suddenly a man approached their table and greeted him amicable.

He handed him a business card and said it was an invitation from their company.

Randy raised his brows and looked at the name of the company. It was not that big and not that small, but was promising. He looked back at the normal looking employee and responded politely.

“Thank you, I will surely send my response.” He said with a smile.

The man returned the polite smile and said some perfunctory words before he left. Jessie looked back at the man and then looked at Randy with amazement.

“Wow, that man just invited you to well-off company?” She asked with an excited voice. she looks happy for him.

Randy only looked at her and smiled. Under the table, he crumpled the card and discarded it on the floor. He glanced at it coldly and looked back at Jessie with a gentle expression.

“It was nothing, I have work now, so it doesn’t matter. Let’s continue eating.” He said as he started to eat once again.

Back at Damon’s office, he was sitting on his chair as he listened to the employee he sent to give the offer to Randy. After that he waved him to dismiss.

He just randomly gave that offer to Randy as an excuse to the appointment he made. Anyway, it was also the best if he accepted it, so that no suspicious person would be around Anya.

But, if his suspicions were true, that man would never accept his offer.

Now that Damon wouldn’t worry about that man having green intentions to Anya, it doesn’t mean he would put his suspicions to rest.

If he is not interested in Anya, then he might have other intentions. But what is it? He pondered for a while and then called for his head secretary, Gabes.

“Look into all the customers and clients that made a deal at Anya’s studio. And see if whether someone really had a black card with them.” He said to Gabes.

Gabes then immediately followed his orders and moved towards the intel department.

Damon stayed at his office to wait. He wanted to know if the client Randy Logan really existed. Only then will he certainly know if he was really suspicious or not.

He started working while he waited for the report. After a few hours, the report finally arrived. He had a lot of connections, so this much was not difficult to find out.

“Sir, here are the list of the clients, but there were no one who possess the black card.” Damon felt like he expected this, but his expression still tightened when he heard it.

That man lied. Why would he do it? Well, only if he had bad intentions.

Damon sighed at this. A spy might have entered Anya’s studio, he can’t have this. Je immediately grabbed his phone to call Anya. She should know about this.

Back at the studio, Anya was handling documents when she received Damon’s call. She found it weird for him to call at this time of the day, so she directly accepted it. It might be urgent.

“Damon?” She called out when she accepted the call. She then heard a sigh on the other end.

“I have something to tell you about that Randy Logan.” Damon said direct to the point. Anya was surprised that he called to talk about Randy. She puzzledly asked back. “What about him?”

Damon took the report papers and flipped through. Just by skimming he could tell that there were really no big person included at the list of clients.

“Remember when you said that the client Randy Logan spoke of had a black card? I had my suspicions because that card was rare, so I looked into the list of your clients. I hope you won’t mind.” He started steadily at first. He apologized right there, because after all, he didn’t ask Anya permission.

Anya was once again surprised. She didn’t think Damon had taken the matter of her studio that seriously.

“No, I don’t. I trust you. But, what’s wrong?” She could only ask.

Damon felt pleased when he heard her trust for him, but he prioritized his intentions first.

“There were no clients who had a black card that contacted your studio.” He responded, weighing Anya’s reaction at the other line.

Anya froze when she heard this. What? But Randy clearly told her about it. Did he lie?

Anya felt conflicted and bothered because of this. she valued Randy’s talent and contribution to her studio, and hearing this from Damon greatly troubled her.

She sighed. Maybe, people really are not perfect. And no one really had clear hearts. She needed to talk to Randy first.

“Thank you for telling me, I’ll talk to him.” Anya answered Damon.

Damon knew Anya’s was upset just from hearing her voice. He doesn’t want to add her conflicts more so he could only acquiesce and reminded her to take care of herself and ended the call.

After the call, Anya sat still on her seat for a moment. She was thinking of Randy, and finally she called for him.

Randy arrived shortly. He entered the door and saw Anya sitting behind her desk.

Anya looked up at Randy and studied his face. She then dropped the question to him.

“Randy, I was just curious about the big client you talked about. What was the client’s name, or the appearance?” She asked him directly.

Randy’s heart jumped when he heard this. He didn’t expect Anya would ask him about the client.

He could only rack his brains and cough to clear his throat.

“Uhm, Miss, I need to look into it again. He had ended the connection already, and had other works I attended, so I am not sure too.” He could only respond. His response were vague, but to clear it up, he looked at Anya straight.

Anya felt the vagueness of Randy’s answer. She felt conflicted again. Was he really lying then?
