Veronica walked inside the Ambrosia Group of Companies. The employees and staffs were very busy. This proves just how big the problem is in the company.
Veronica pursed her lips and went headed to her father’s office. And she was not alone. She directly went in, as the secretaries are already accustomed to her none caring attitude. When Veronica walked inside the office, she saw her father going through documents with furrowed brows. When he heard the door open, he raised his head.
“What are you doing here?” George asked his daughter with an expressionless face.
George is having many issues right now, and he was still saving this disgraceful daughter of his from being sued. Seeing her right now doesn’t help him a bit.
Veronica sighed and tried to coax her father.
“Dad, I know you’re dissatisfied with me by now. But I have someone with me that could help us.” She said and moved away to show the person she was with.
“Good day, Mr. Ambrosia.” Andrei greeted with a smile.

The family of three was inside the bedroom, helping Anya fix her things. She smiled at the two males, obviously doesn’t know what to do, but insisted on helping.
She chuckled.
“You can leave me be. I can do this.” She said softly.
“Allen help!” Her son insisted and she saw Damon was also looking at her the same. She sighed helplessly and just ordered the guys on what to do.
The three of them moved harmoniously, although not efficiently. Anya decided in her head she will just redo everything later.
When they were done, they went down to the living area for some snacks. The maid served light pastries, and the three of them enjoyed it.
“I heard you built a pastry shop. You like baking? You can do it here.” Damon offered to her. Anya smiled and looked at the kitchen. It was far, but she can see the exquisite and clean sink and cupboards. It looks like a very nice place to cook.
She only nodded gleefully at Damon, and the man smiled in satisfaction. While they were resting, Gabe suddenly came in with urgent news.
Damon looked irritatedly at Gabe.
“I told you, I’ll take my time off today.” He said to his secretary.
Anya heard this and turned to Gabe. When she saw that the matter seemed urgent and important, she said to Damon.
“It’s fine. You just came back and mentioned there were problems arising. You can head to the office, I’ll be fine here.” She insisted.
Damon looked at her carefully and glanced at Gabe. He too knows that with Gabe state, the matter really is urgent.
He sighed. He wanted to be with Anya in her first arrival in their home, but it seemed something was really up.
“Are you sure?” He turned to Anya to make sure she’s really fine with it.
Anya nodded with a smile.
With that, he stood up and turned to his family.
“I’ll be back soon.” He kissed both of their forehead and followed Gabe out. When they entered the car, he immediately asked Gabe about the matter. “Mr. Mike returned.”
Damon pursed her lips as his expression tightened. Well, this was really a pain in the ass.

Damon walked into the conference room where his uncle, Mike, gathered the board of directors. When he went in, he surveyed the people and found George Ambrosia within them. He scoffed as he knew what this is all about.
He directly went into the head seat and greeted everyone.
“Uncle Mike, I see you’re handling things the moment you came back.” Damon noted sarcastically.
The meaning behind his voice was obvious. A person, who was not the president, had the guts to call for an emergency meeting with the boards.
Mike knew what Damon is trying to say, but he only smirked to that.
“My dear nephew, I was just worried what’s happening to the company. I heard you are ending the cooperation with the Ambrosia? How could you do that? This relationship was built a long time ago!” Mike criticized as fellow directors followed suit and supported his claim.
Damon’s eyes became cold as he stared at the situation. He gave an icy look at George Ambrosia before he responded to his uncle.
“The Ambrosia had a financial crisis. I terminated the contract since it would not be good for my corporation to be dragged down by their problems.”
George furrowed his brows, dissatisfied.
“Mr. Castellano, I know you know this isn’t the problem. You want to mix personal matters in business, and that’s why you are doing this.” George answered.
Damon chuckled coldly.
“I’ll compete for the acquisition. And my decision is final.” He answered with a low and dark voice.
When the directors heard this, there was a bunch of complaints and claims in support of the Ambrosia.
Mike also went in and added fuel to the fire.
“Damon, you can’t be like that. How could you lead the company if you have this mindset?” More complaints and voices arose, as they started to criticize Damon’s leadership.
Damon could only look coldly at the situation.
On the other hand, George smiled in satisfaction in his heart. He took his phone and shared good news to someone.

Andrei received the message and was also satisfied. He smiled confidently at this development and played with his lips.
He decided to stand and find the inspiration of this plan.

Anya tucked her son to sleep. She patted his little butt and hummed a lullaby. When she saw he was already asleep, she stood up and looked at her phone.
She had made plans to meet with Marie tonight. She needed to explain things to her, as she knew she had shocked her with the decisions she made for the past few days.
After she asked permission with the Nanny and saw her son was safe and asleep, she went out. She rode the car that Damon had left for her and had the driver take her to the restaurant. Anya already asked permission from Damon and he gladly acquiesced while arranging a driver for her.
When she arrived at the restaurant, she chose to seat outside. The street lights and the light from the restaurant was bright, so Anya was comfortable. The cool breeze of the wind also gave her satisfaction.
She took out her phone and was about to contact Marie when someone called her from behind. “We meet again, Anya.”
Anya froze as she knew this voice. The next moment, she saw Andrei seating in front of her. Her face tightened.
“What are you doing here?” She asked stiffly.
Andrei only smiled as she gazed at the woman in front of him. She looked even more beautiful and he missed her a lot.
“I missed you.” He said as he stared at her lovingly.
Anya felt goosebumps in her skin when she saw Andrei’s expression. She frowned at him. Andrei saw this and said his intentions.
“I’m not here to do anything. I just want to inform you of Damon Castellanos’ downfall soon.” He said confidently.
Anya furrowed her brows as she stared with narrowed eyes at Andrei.
“Do you know this, sweetheart? Soon, that man will fall, and he would have nothing. While I will be the final victor. If I were you, I’ll come back to me now.” Andrei continued as he tried to reach for Anya’s hands.
But Anya avoided his hand. She then stood up.
“You’re crazy. I don’t care about anything you said. No matter what happens, I won’t get back with you. How many times do I have to say this?” Anya said with a cold voice.
These words instantly made Andrei angry. He stood up abruptly too.
“Anya! You’ll come to me sooner or later. So don’t blame me if you suffer before that.” He warned darkly.
Anya only shook her head at him, as she thought he was really a hopeless case now. She turned her back to leave. She would just have to message Marie to change their destination. Andrei saw Anya leaving and became even more furious. He stared intently at her delicate and receding figure, as fire burned in his heart.
‘Anya, you’ll be mine again! I will make sure of that!’

A few miles away from the restaurant, a car was parked. Unbeknownst to the two arguing people, someone was looking at them from inside the car.
From her position, she had seen the exchange between the two, and as well all the actions displayed by the man.
The person stared at Andrei’s figure, huffing in anger as he was filled with emotions looking at the leaving woman.
The person then turned to Anya and studied her. She was already quite far, so the person in the car only looked for a moment before she disappeared from the view.
This personage had a tightened expression and her eyes glinted with emotions.
