That night, Veronica called Randy to her house. She was sipping on her wine as she was pondering how to deal with Randy. She needed to bring him in her side again.
Veronica felt she underestimated Anya. That wench might have seduced and drawn Randy into her. not just her, but also her assistant! That heck of a studio was really full of sluts.
Taking a deep breath, Veronica tried to calm herself. That woman couldn’t compare to her. just a little tickle, Veronica knew Randy would again follow her like a dog. Her eyes glowed in the dim room.
The door opened and Veronica perceived it was Randy. She grabbed her handkerchief as she rubbed her eyes until it reddened. She produced tears in her eyes, as she made her expression pitiful. She then turned towards the door.
Randy was really walking inside still in his coat on. When he walked in the room, he saw the dim lights and the woman standing before him with a dejected expression. His eyebrows furrowed as to what might have happened.
“Randy..” Veronica’s voice was so pitiful as she called out. She approached him and held on to hi suit as her eyes glistened with tears.
“Don’t you like me anymore?” She asked with a sad and heartbreaking tone. She tried her best to sprawl tears in her eyes more, and tears flowed down her face.
Randy was immediately baffled. Her reaction was so out of the blue that he was caught off guard.
“What do you mean? How can you say that?” He asked her back as he held her arms. Veronica looked down as she sobbed then raised her head again.
“I saw you. With a woman. It’s that bitch’s assistant right? Why were you with her? don’t be bewitched by those lowly woman Randy..” Veronica said to him with a betrayed face. She looked indignant and hurt, as he clung to Randy.
When Randy heard this, he was very upset by her accusation. Her face told him she felt betrayed. How could she be like this? He was dissatisfied that he had been close to Jessie because of her and his mission, and yet here she was accusing him without even clarifying with him.
His expression hardened and his eyes cooled.
“Do you think my love is that low.” Randy said in a dark and cold voice. He backed away and looked at Veronica with, expressionless.
Veronica froze when she heard this. she watched Randy’s stiff expression and she was immediately anxious.
Shoot, did I make a mistake?
She can’t help but thought. She was worried that Randy might not cooperate with her anymore.
Veronica clenched her teeth but in the next second, her face became passionate and pitiful again. She put her arms around Randy’s neck and pulled him for a deep and passionate kiss.
Randy was stunned with Veronica’s actions, but later, he was drowned by her mind blowing kiss, so he wrapped his arms around her waist and kissed her back.
The two figures, basked in moon light, hugged each other like they want to mold their bodies into one. The sounds of kiss filled the room, and it was intense.
Veronica backed away first and gasped. She looked up at Randy and had a loving look on her eyes.
“Don’t be angry Randy. It hurts me. I, I just got jealous. I feel awful seeing you with other women.” Her voice sounded soft and whining, but it scratch in Randy’s heart in a good way.
His mood immediately lifted when he heard her words. Veronica was jealous? So that’s how it is. Randy’s heart immediately felt light.
“I just did that so I can get more information about Anya.” He said as he caressed her cheeks.
Veronica heard this and looked up at him. he doesn’t seem like lying. Well, at the very least, he still feels soft when she does this. She just needs to kiss him up a little, and he would once again be her loyal dog.
Randy saw Veronica’s quiet mien and explained again.
“Don’t worry. I will do what I promise to you. I’ll do anything for you, remember?” He said gently again.
Veronica smiled at this and held his face in both of her hands.
“I want to be with you. I promise, after all of this ends, I will be with you. I just can’t stomach the humiliation Anya and Damon caused me. I want revenge.” She said, trapping him in her little eyes.
Randy was exalted when he heard this. He had liked Veronica for the longest time, and he would surely be happy when he heard this.
He was very fascinated with her promise, and the future that they would have.
Veronica saw this and smirked inside. She whispered in his ears more promises, their future, and the reward he would receive after he accomplish this mission.
Which is her.
Of course, Veronica doesn’t mean any of this. How could she settle with a normal man like Randy? Nothing beats being the Madame Castellano, so she would latch on to this.
As for Randy, she will easily toss him aside after all of this is over. A meager man like him, he couldn’t do anything if that time comes.
Veronica smiled sweetly. But for now, he needed to please this man first. Even if she was dissatisfied, she was willing to do anything, just to throw that woman in the mad.
While Veronica thought of this, the man was oblivious to anything. He was lost in happiness from all Veronica had promised him. His heart surged and the determination to deal with Anya became even stronger.
He felt pity for Anya, but this couldn’t compare to the love he had for Veronica. He was completely bewitched by the woman that he lost all his reason.
Just as how he forgot to look into Veronica’s personality, if she was ever willing to be with a man like him. He forgot the haughty personality of Veronica, and it was lost from all the sweet words she whispered to him.
All he knows is now, he was willing to do anything to be with Veronica. Even if it takes ruining and dragging Anya down, the person he just recently respected.
