It was a weekend, and Damon, together with Allen, was picking Anya up. They planned to have a family date today, so the three were meeting up.
The father and son was waiting at the parking lot of Anya’s apartment. Not long, they saw her come out. She was wearing a white shirt with a high waist denim shorts. She was also wearing a pair of white sneakers. The woman was attired comfortably and youthful. No one would know for the first look that she was already a mother.
Damon stared at Anya and he can’t help but be fascinated. She was not draped luxuriously with glitters and gems, but she looked very beautiful right now. Simple, but it took his breath away.
Anya saw Damon and Allen waiting by the car and she smiled as she walked towards them. She also noticed they were wearing a white shirt and denim pants and can’t help but think they look so cute right now.
Before meeting, Allen was very excited and shuffling about the attire he will wear.
“Mommy! Mommy, looks good?” He held some small shirts and pants on his little hands and showing it to Anya on the screen.
Anya laughed heartily at his cuteness and can’t help but have an idea.
“How about Monmon wear a white shirt, and I will wear a white shirt too. So that we are matching!” She suggested cheerfully.
The little boy suddenly had a realization and he was very excited about it.
Damon who was listening from the side, also doesn’t want to be left out, so he chose to wear a white shirt too and a denim pants.
That’s why right now, the family of three stood there with matching outfits. Anya stared at Damon and can’t help but marvel. He was wearing a white shirt and jeans, completely different from his usual suited attire. But now, Anya can’t help but sigh at his handsomeness too. He really suited anything, and right now, he looked much younger and chic looking like this.
Damon noticed Anya’s stare and chuckled. He pinched her cheeks and lowered his head to look at her eyes.
“Why? You’re star struck?” He said confidently and teasingly.
Anya blushed and swept his hand away in embarrassment. Because of that, she diverted her attention to her cute son.
The little boy was wearing a white shirt and jeans too. He looked so handsome and cute that Anya felt like squealing in her heart. She picked him up and planted a kiss on his cheeks.
“Baby is so cute and handsome!” Anya exclaimed.
Allen was very happy and flattered from her compliment, and he rubbed his little tummy and shirt, with a cute little smile.
Damon felt satisfied looking at his little family like this. He patted both of their heads and said.
“Well, should we eat first? We need a lot of energy today.” The family planned to go to the zoo and see the animals. Allen hadn’t been in one, and the parents wanted for their child to gain a little adventure. Damon knew they will be playing a lot today, so he thought they should eat first.
Anya and Allen acquiesced, So they all headed to a restaurant nearby. On the way, Allen suddenly pointed at a restaurant.
“Daddy, Mommy! There! there!” The child cheered as he pointed. Anya turned to where he was pointing and saw it was a fast-food restaurant.
“You want to go there?” Anya asked softly. Allen then nodded vigorously. The colorful and fun design of the fast food chain fascinated the little child, and he wanted to eat there.
Anya perceived that Allen had never tried to eat there before. Anyway, it was not a place for the rich, and they might have doubt eating in such a place. So she could only turn to Damon and hear what he thinks.
He stopped the car at the side of the road and looked at the restaurant first. He hadn’t been there, and he was told that it was not safe eating fast food.
“Is it delicious in there?” He could only ask Anya. He saw his son eagerly looking at the fast food almost pitiful, so he wanted to give in.
Anya heard his question and smiled. She then nodded her head.
“Yes, they also have a meal that includes toys. Perfect for children.” She answered as she looked at Allen.
Hearing this, Damon thought it wasn’t bad to try for once in a while. He can’t reject his child and ruin their mood for today.
“Alright.” He then acquiesced.
Allen was very happy as he jumped in his seat, and Anya and Damon could only chuckle.
Damon parked the car in the parking lot and the went out. He first opened the door for Anya, then for his son who was seated in a kid’s seat at the back.
He carried Allen and took Anya’s hand and held it in his, as they walked into the restaurant.
When they entered, Anya knew Damon doesn’t even know how to order, so the three of them lined up together to order.
They let Allen point out the food he wanted to eat and what toys he wants. The little boy was very happy in choosing even without eating it yet.
After ordering, Damon took their trays, he had two trays each in both hands. Anya wanted to help but Damon said he could manage. He really carried the tray in his hands, and Anya knew this man was quite strong.
The three of them sat on a table an started eating.
“Eat slowly okay?” Anya assisted Allen to eat and he happily munched his food. He also opened the toys and was very fascinated at eat. The parents could only smile helplessly, as they had a hearty and warm meal.
In a table not far away, a woman was clenching her hands in anger as she stared at the happy family of three.
A waiter approach her and saw she had no food in her table, asked her if she needed help in ordering.
“Get out of my sight!” Veronica harshly said to the waiter.
The waiter was taken a back with the rude customer. But looking at the woman, he saw she looks like someone he couldn’t offend, so he could only back out. Anyway, the place was not full yet, so they can let her stay at least for a while.
The waiter left while scratching his head.
Veronica looked disgustingly at the leaving figure, as well as the table in front of her. Actually, the whole place is shitty! How could Damon eat in a place like this?!
She grumbled in dissatisfaction. She once again looked at the family table and fumed.
What the hell is Randy doing! She thought he was doing his job, but why is that pair having date right now, and also playing family in a cheap restaurant as this?!
Veronica took her phone out to call Randy. After a few rings, it was picked up. “Veronica?” He greeted.
Veronica wanted to yell and curse at this man, but she stopped herself. She took a deep breath and asked in a stiff voice.
“Where are you now? I am seeing Damon and Anya together right now, I thought you are looking for ways to break them up?” Veronica asked in whisper, spouting the words out a bit harshly.
Randy on the other line was kind of taken aback. It was the weekend today, and Anya gave them a day off. He didn’t expect she was meeting with Damon right now.
“She gave as a day off. The studio is not open today.” Randy responded helplessly. Veronica pursed her lips with this.
“Well, do something! Call her back about a problem or whatever! Break the apart!” Veronica insisted.
Randy knew Veronica was upset right now so he could only agree and appease her. “Alright, I’ll think of something. I’ll definitely call her back.” Randy assured her.
Veronica calmed down and her tone softened at Randy. She said a few more words, as well as encouragement for the man.
Her eyes flashed as she looked at the family with venomous eyes. She wouldn’t let them be happy today.
