After the family ate, they then headed their way to the zoo. Allen was very excited about his little adventure.
They let Allen run around, but they kept their eyes on him. Damon held Anya’s hand and the two looked very sweet and warm holding hands together.
Veronica, who was following them, became disgusted at the scene. She dread it so much that she wanted to rush to them and tear them apart! But she can’t do that, and it made her feel even more awful.
Also, when she looked around, she could easily see people giving second looks at the couple. The family was very eye catching. Aside from the matching outfits, the three of them had exquisite features that they can’t help but draw the eyes from strangers.
Veronica became even more jealous because of this. She was fuming, because it should be her that was together with Damon.
Suddenly running children bumped into her and she gave them an intense and disgusted look.
Well if it was her with Damon, she would definitely not be in this kind of place. Such a cheap, stinky, and humid place, she was disgusted by the sweat and people around her.
The haughty young miss of the Ambrosia almost couldn’t take the place of the zoo. Oh why the hell was she in this place full of animals?! She can’t help but thought.
However, the family of three was unaware of someone’s struggle and they enjoyed the scene of the zoo.
“Wow super big!” Allen was in awe as he pointed at a lion from the screen of the zoo. The lion was standing tall, facing the crowd without flinching. He was clearly looking like the king of the jungle.
Damon was carrying Allen in his arms as he stood by the screen. Anya was holding a towel and wiping the sweat of Allen and chuckled at his words.
“Monmon is not afraid of the Lion?” She asked, showing her amazement at the little one.
Allen faced his mother bravely and pump his little fist.
“No! Lion big and strong! Monmon want to be big and strong too!” He said talking like a little adult.
Damon and Anya laughed at this, and Anya held his little hand.
“Wow! Monmon would surely be big and strong in the future!” She cheered.
Allen was excited and he giggled happily. He once again pointed at the Lion and stared at it in amazement.
Anya turned to Damon and saw sweat on his temples. She brought the towel to his face and wiped his sweat for him.
Damon turned to Anya and looked at her in the eye. Her gesture right now was so appealing to Damon that he was drawn to her once more. He liked the feeling of her taking care of him.
Anya smiled shyly at Damon as she saw his stare at her. The two of them looked at each other in the eye and the both of them felt light and contented.

After looking at more animal, they let Allen run freely again. At the open space at the entrance of the zoo, a lot of vendors were taking stall in it.
Allen saw a vendor selling a balloon and he happily pointed it to his parents. “Want! Want!” He said as he jumped.
Anya and Damon just smiled helplessly, but still gave in. The both of them were very happy at seeing their son happy too.
After playing at the zoo, the sun was already coming down. They decided to leave but eat at a near restaurant first. The three of them were tired and hungry from all the playing, and when the meal was served, they immediately focused on eating. After finishing their food, they laughed at their selves as they looked like people who haven’t eaten for years.
Anya felt very happy as she laughed with them. She dreamed, deep inside her heart, that they will always be like this. and that someday, she could proudly say and hug them as her family.
Since young, she hadn’t experience a happy and normal family. When she married, she dreamed to build her own, but that dream was thrown and stumped to the ground. After that, she never believed she could have a happy family.
But experiencing this moment, and looking at the father and son, they made her want to believe. She wanted to wish and hope once more, that finally, she could have her own happy family.

Damon opened the car door for Anya as they arrived at her apartment. Anya kissed Allen on his cheeks as she bid goodbye.
“Bye baby,” She whispered at the little child who was already drowsy. Despite this, the child still gave effort to open his eyes and kiss Anya back.
“Bye bye, mommy.” He whispered as he finally fell asleep. Anya chuckled and tucked his little blanket in his kiddie seat again.
She then turned to Damon who was waiting outside by the door. She came down and looked up at him.
“Thank you for today, I was very happy.” She said softly as she looked at his eyes. She was truly grateful.
Damon smiled gently and caressed her cheeks.
“It was my pleasure. Me and Allen was very happy too.” He whispered gently as he gaze at her with loving eyes.
Anya was very embarrassed as the scene of their kiss flashed on her mind. She was mortified at her dirty thoughts and planned to bid goodbye in a huff.
“Well, uhm, bye.” She said as she turned back. Damon had already seen through her, but his eyes flashed with a smirk in his lips.
“I think you forgot something,” He said.
Anya turned back at him questioningly, and she saw Damon waving her phone in his hand. ‘Oh, that’s right.’ Damon took her phone earlier.
“Oh, yeah I almost forgot.” She said helplessly and tried to reach for it, but Damon suddenly lifted it higher.
Anya raised a brow at Damon. “Can I have my phone back?”
Damon smiled craftily at her and lowered his head to level on hers. “I will, if you give me a kiss.” He whispered huskily at her.
A blush crept on Anya’s cheeks as she looked incredulously at Damon. She glanced at the inside of the car and saw that Allen was already sleeping. She could only close her eyes and plant a kiss on his lips.
She only planned to give a quick peck, but Damon beat her to it. He grabbed a hold of the back of her head, and wrapped one arms on her waist. He cradled her in his arms as he gave her a deep kiss.
Anya was stunned, but she was pushed to follow his rhythm. His tongue was intending to intrude, and then bit her lips. This caused her to gasp and Damon took this chance to push his tongue to her mouth.
Anya felt her legs became weak as she leaned on Damon, as the man was savoring her lips.
When it felt like Anya would be suffocated, Damon finally let her go. The woman was gasping as she looked accusingly at Damon.
Damon only smiled softly and saving her from embarrassment, handed the phone to her.
“Goodbye,” He whispered once more, his voice still hoarse and had a tinge of sexiness from recent kiss.
Anya blushed profusely, as she grabbed her phone and ran away. Still, she tinned skin and all of Damon’s teasing and passion overwhelmed her.
Damon only stood there, staring at the woman’s back amusedly. He smiled in satisfaction and he entered the car in a good mood.
He then started the car and drove away. He passed by a black car and continued driving on his way.
Veronica, who was seated inside her black tinted car, gripped the steering wheels tightly.
She was gritting her teeth as her eyes were red and had tint of tears in them. she had just saw the scene earlier, their passion and scandalous act was all seen by her.
Her heart tightened as she can’t believe what she saw. These past few days, to cope with her days, she tried to deny Damon’s interest at that woman. She comforted herself that he might lose interest at that slut sooner or later.
But she didn’t expect the scene she just saw. It was the first time Veronica had scene Damon so passionate and look at someone gently and with loving eyes.
The nightmare Veronica had avoided so hard, was forming right before her eyes.

The next day, Anya went to work early. The day off she had yesterday was tiring, but today, she felt very energetic. She entered her studio in a good mood.
There were already people inside. In the last hiring, they didn’t only hire Randy, but also staffs for the paper work and miscellaneous task for the studio. The studio was growing, and naturally, they needed to increase man force.
The staffs greeted Anya respectfully and Anya returned it with a smile.
She entered her office and started her day. Back to working seriously, Anya remembered the emergency Randy had called her for yesterday. She still did receive
any detail about it, so she decided to ask him today. She opted to go to his office, since she wanted to held this matter with importance now that she was back at work.
She walked towards Randy’s large cubicle and saw the man look at his laptop with furrowed eyebrows.
She knocked on his table to get his attention. Randy looked up and saw Anya, he immediately greeted amicable.
“Good morning, Miss.”
“Good morning, I came for the emergency you called yesterday, what was it about?” Anya returned the greeting as well as went straight to the point.
Randy’s eyes diverted. He already foresaw that she would ask this, so he had thought of an excuse already.
“The client was a big client, and he held a black card in him. I can’t handle such an important person so I called you for it.” Randy explained.
When Anya heard this, she had a realization. It was then she finally understood.
Randy, looking at Anya’s expression of understanding, sighed in his heart. Thankfully, he made her believe it.
Randy’s eyes flashed, as he lowered his cunning gaze.
