Alpha's Little Miracle

Chapter 15

Ch. 15 / 127 Aug 27, 2025

ADRIA’S POV

Suddenly, I met myself on a vast ground, and everything turned dark

“Oh, no. This is not what I signed up for.” I said, under my breath.

I looked around and noticed the trickster, looking bigger in size, and coming towards me. This was something I didn’t expect, and worse was that he was looking scarier.

“So, you were also bold enough to try to take out of my blood?” His voice echoed, and sounded scary as he made big strides towards me.

“I had to… I need to wake up in my world. I can’t just leave like that.” I replied, at the top of my voice.

“That’s none of my concern. I have no wish to give you my blood. If you want to take it, come try. I guess you’re going to regret having to try this, because you might end up dying here.” The trickster said as he dashed towards me.

Fear gripped me but thankfully, it didn’t get a hold of my legs as I dodged the trickster, and ran as fast as I could, even if it wasn’t as fast as I wanted, because at this rate, it looked so much like the trickster was going to get me.

A dagger appeared in my hand and I knew exactly what to do to get a hold of him, but all I needed right now was the chance to do that. I looked back, and saw him getting closer to me.

“Adria, you just got to do it, or he’s going to kill you.” I said to myself, and allowed my rage to take over.

The rage of being unfairly treated just because I needed to get back to my world. I stopped abruptly, and closed my eyes as I strike the trickster so many times, and anywhere. He wasn’t expecting that I was going to stop abruptly so he would have lost his balance and would definitely not see this coming.

Blood splattered on my face, and I opened my eyes to see what I had done, and to my surprise, I had given him so many strikes in his eyes, neck, and other parts. Then he laughed, and that baffled me. How could he still be laughing when I had given him the worst injuries of his life.

“You are cruel.” He spoke out, and his knees gave way to the ground.

I thought he was going to shrink back or sort, but he stayed that size. Then I recalled that I was supposed to take his blood, so I did so, before it reduced or stop pouring. This place was weird, so it was best to be smart.

I took a pint of his blood quickly before my time ran out, and boom! I was brought back to the Vampires’ Castle. I stared at the trio as they stared at me back, although, I couldn’t tell what was going on through their mind.

“I’m done with this task. What’s next?” I asked, hoping they weren’t going to drag things out at all.

“Easy, easy, Adria. You’ll get your task. Don’t be too much in a hurry to leave.” Valerie said as she crossed her lap.

“But I still need to.” I replied.

“Alright, alright, for your next task, I will send you back to the woods where you met yourself at the time you found yourself in this other reality.”

I was beginning to feel like the task could be difficult as I didn’t like the total silence and tone which Valerie used.

“Without wasting much of our precious time, I want you to slice and get blood from the guardian. I have always wanted to have a taste of her blood.”

Why are these people so obsessed with blood? They were speaking like it had been long since they tasted blood, so they wanted to use me as an opportunity to get as much blood as they wanted.

“Who is the guardian? I really don’t know who that is, and I didn’t see anyone when coming over here.” I said, beginning to get tired of the whole stress they were putting me through.

“She is the one who whispered your name when you got here for the first time.” Victoria answered with a slight smile.

“What? But… I didn’t see her. I only heard her voice.”

“She will show herself to you. Just get her blood.” Valerie said, and her eyes turned red for a brief moment.

This sent chills down my spine, and I found it hard to speak a word at that moment. It felt as if that sight had already taken my confidence, and trust that I wouldn’t be eaten up. Then Valerie walked up to me, and held my hand, straightening it out, then placed a sharp knife on my right hand which I held out.

“Use this to kill her.” She whispered into my ears, and folded my palm to hold the knife tight.

I stared at the knife, and it felt as If my journey here was just to make things harder for me to wake up. Was the portal really the right way for me to get in? All these happening was making me get so scared, and I stared at her as she did her fingers like she was about to snap me out of their castle.

Back to the darkness in the woods where things were scary, and threatening. I shut my eyes, and pursed my lips, then tightened my hand on the dagger, waiting to be snapped back into the woods. I had charged myself up with the little confidence I could muster up.

“Please take me there immediately.” I pleaded before my confidence would melt down like ice cream.

But I heard no response. In fact, the calm atmosphere and silence had been replaced by the creaking sounds made by insects of the night. I opened my eyes slowly, and looked around. I was back into the woods without even noticing it.

“Adria.” I heard that soft voice called out to me again, and my blood froze, and became warm again like it was switching temperature.

“Oh, goodness. I hope tonight won’t be the end of me.” I muttered under my breath.
