Hudson POV
Hudson had finished smoking and was going back to towards the dance floor, where he had left Callie but when he reached there he couldn't find her and when he observed carefully, even his father was nowhere to be found. He clenched his fist and walked started looking for Callie .
When Ellen saw her brother looking for someone, very desperately. She smiled wickedly and knew who the person was and rushed towards him.
"Hudson are you looking for Callie ?" Ellen grinned wickedly.
"Ellen not now!" Hudson exclaimed.
"What is with you two are you guys playing hide and seek, she was just looking for you and I told her I saw you going inside the hotel and now you are searching for her. Seriously you two love birds are too much." Ellen said and punched his shoulder muscles.
"What? and when did that happen?" He asked irritated.
"Just ten minutes ago.........." And before she could explain Hudson walked past her towards the hotel entrance.
Ellen grinned mischievously and held her husband's hand affectionately and kissed him lightly on his lips.
But he smiled and deepened his kiss and the crowd cheered for them.
Hudson ignored everyone, walked hastily and reached the lobby and looked around for Callie but couldn't find her so he assumed that she must have gone up to their room and controlling his emotion he entered the lift.
Just as the lift door opened on the fifth floor. He saw Callie rushing towards him and she looked so scared. He ran towards him and took her in his arms. She clung to him but he noticed that she was pointing towards the door at the far end corner and then she fainted.
He held her tightly, whispering her name but she was not responding, just then the lift door opened and Jayden and Scarlett came out and saw the scene.
He ran towards his sister.
"Hudson , What happened?" Jayden asked him with gritted teeth.
"I don't know, I just came to look for her and she fainted in my arms." He saw the manager standing behind Scarlett .
"Manager Chen, what are you waiting for the call the doctor!" Hudson exclaimed harshly.
The manager immediately called up the hotel doctor, while Hudson carried her to their suite.
Jayden was worried and held Callie 's hand, while Scarlett sprayed some water.
Hudson on the other hand had left the room after laying Callie on the bed, as he had to check the room where Callie had pointed out.
He strode towards the room and opened the half-opened door and check it thoroughly and as he came inside the bedroom he was horrified as he saw Wanda, his mom's cousin struggling, as someone had cut her throat.
He was in a panic and looked around the room, finally he took the bedsheet and tore and a piece of cloth and tied it around her wound, trying to stop the bleeding then called up the manager to call for an ambulance and then after hanging up he called the police.
After the ambulance arrived and rushed Wanda away, he came back to his suite telling the manager to inform him when the police arrive.
He rushed in and saw that the doctor had put her on the drip.
Jayden looked at his tired face and spoke. "Hudson , Callie is fine don't worry, the doctor said she fainted because of dehydration. It always happens to her when she doesn't drink water properly. I always tell but she refuses to listen." Jayden knew that Hudson had gone to check something urgent so asked. " What is the commotion all about outside? I heard some noises but was worried about Callie , so didn't go and check."
"Someone tried to murder my aunt but thankfully the cut was not too deep and the doctor assured me that she will be fine but has been rushed to the hospital." Hudson said flatly.
"What! "Jayden and Scarlett both exclaimed together.
"Jayden , I need to rush to the hospital to check on her as soon as the police arrive, as I have to give them my statement. Please take care of Callie and inform me, as soon as she wakes up. She was the one who pointed in the direction of the room where this incident happened and I am not sure whether its good or bad but She is the only one who knows, what had happened there and I think she might be in danger as the person who was trying to kill my aunt, missed it slightly and if he knows that, there is a witness, he might try to harm her."
"I have already informed the employees not to spread the word around, as it might be disturbing for the wedding," Hudson exclaimed.
"Wait a minute, Hudson , Callie sent me a message when I reached the venue and it said, "Danger, save me."
"I was scared, so I rushed inside and when met your father, I asked him about you and Callie and he told me both of you have gone inside the hotel and as you had already made the reservation for me, I naturally rushed up to check what was wrong. But thankfully you reached on time." Jayden explained the incident briefly.
Hudson was stiff at the mention of his father.
Just then the manager informed them that the police had arrived and are investigating the crime scene. The manager was very efficient and handled the matter with concern.
Hudson took his leave and went out to give his statement.
"Hudson are you sure Wanda is going to be fine? Oh, how can anyone be so cruel." Steffanie said with distress in his voice.
Hudson held her tightly and said. "Aunt Steff, its going to take some time because the cut is on the sensitive part of her neck. It might take a longer time to recover. She is in a coma now and so nothing can be said. They will keep her under observation for forty-eight hours."
After finishing the formalities with the police Hudson had made sure that nothing would affect the wedding and ran to the hospital, after making sure that Callie was fine. He wanted to wait for her to wake up but he had to clear the mess as well. His dad as usual had already left and had no idea what had happened but was informed by his employees.
His aunt rushed to the hospital when she heard about the accident.
"Where is Uncle ?" Hudson had enquired when he saw her coming alone.
"After reaching home he was feeling giddy, as you know he has high blood pressure, so I advised him to rest and I came alone." Steffanie explained.
"Hudson you better get back to the wedding, Ellen must be looking for you, hurry up, run now. I will take care of everything here. So don't worry." She whispered softly
Hudson looked at his kind-hearted aunt and smiled before walking out.
He was worried and angry that he had not been able to protect Callie and his aunt Wanda, who was ten years older than him and was a very famous actress, although she was a relative from his mothers' side and he should have called her aunt, he never did as he did not like her at all. But why would anyone try to kill her, that was a big question going on in his head. Did Callie see the killer? Thinking about it his hands were sweating.
And what if it was the same serial killer! he exclaimed softly.

"Are you sure you have erased all the evidence Ale? The man on the other said gruffly on the phone.
Ale nodded his head while speaking and said. "Every record of the hotel's CCTV has been deleted, so no one can catch me." And he laughed aloud.
The man on the other end was very irritated. " Ale, you need to control yourself sometime or you will get us into big trouble. Wanda knows everything about us and I have come to know from my sources that she is still breathing but is in a coma, what will we do if she wakes up."
Ale took a deep breath and said. "Wanda is not going to say anything against us, as even she knows that if she does she is digging her own grave. So don't worry. I will handle it."
"She is freaking crazy about you, why did you try to strangle her?"
"Well, she knows a lot and was speaking nonsense, so I thought of making her sleep forever but its her Good luck that she survived. She is in coma and people who are usually in coma don't live for many days, so go and have some chilled beer and leave everything to me." Ale said and both of them started laughing before hanging up.
Ale on the other hand was looking at the picture on his mobile and saying, "Well, well Emily seems, your daughter has the same innocent eyes as you, so attractive and naïve. It's a pity you went away too early. But thank you for your treasured gift, your daughter. So what if you left me, I can still have Callie by my side. And guess what she won't be able to object." He touched the picture with his finger and sneered.

Jayden had brought Callie back to their hotel as soon as she woke up. She was so scared that she was holding Jayden very tightly and Jayden immediately picked her up and brought her back to the hotel and tucked her inside the bed. Scarlett was holding her hand, as Callie drifted back to sleep.
Jayden went to the lounge and closed his eyes, thinking about the things which had happened that day.
Scarlett did not try to question him, as she knew he was disturbed
He had never wanted to leave Callie alone but Scarlett couldn't handle the matter in Budapest so he had to rush but as soon as it was done, he had flown back.
He was raking his hair, when there was a knock on the door and Jayden went and opened it.
Hudson was standing outside, looking like hell.
They both nodded at each other and he entered the living room. It was almost ten at night.
"How is she?" Hudson asked softly.
Jayden was quiet as he sat on the sofa and said. " She is not okay Hudson , She is so scared. I am regretting my decision to come to Seattle. from the time we landed here so many things have been happening. First the attack, now this." He sighed and continued. " I have decided to return back and close the project."
"How is your aunt?'
"She is in a coma but she will be fine according to the doctors." Hudson said flatly.
"Oh, that's a relief." Jayden whispered.
Hudson looked at him but did not say anything for a long time.
"Can I see her?" He whispered.
Jayden nodded his head and pointed towards Callie 's room.
Hudson walked inside the room and saw Scarlett was sitting on the bed where she was lying. He went and took her hands in his grasp and kissed it lightly.
He was feeling lost. His heart was beating very fast and he whispered.
"Callie ........."
