When it was over, Jayden started to interact with them telling them not to be scared of him but he won't tolerate laziness at work as he was a very workaholic. Everyone was smiling at his silly jokes which he cracked then and then. And I was looking at him proudly.
After some time, suddenly the door opened and a man in his late fifties entered the boardroom as Jayden was speaking and interacting with his employees, he showed his displeasure to the new arrival.
The man smiled shamefully and said. " Master Jayden, I am Henry Adams, the Marketing head of the company, I apologize for barging in but I was just informed that you have come to take over, you see, I was on holiday and have just returned."
Zenda looked at him with displeasure and I wondered, if he always behaved like that.
"Mr. Adams, it's okay since you did not know about it but I will not tolerate it if you are late again for the next meeting. Please take your seat." Jayden said smilingly. He sure knew how to handle the situation.
The meeting went on for some time and Jayden signed the papers. The employees were told that I would be joining the advertising department, as I wanted to make some changes. And everyone agreed with the decision.
After the meeting was over everyone left, except for Uncle Scott, Zenda and me.
"Jayden you can use your mother's office, while Callie can use the office next to it." Uncle Scott said lovingly and I was touched.
"Uncle Scott don't be formal with us, I know You were using her office and you are the vice CEO, so you will stay where you are and I and Callie will use the office next to it and besides Callie and I like working together. The place rightfully belongs to you and we cannot just take it away from you." Jayden said determinedly. Not allow him to refuse.
Zenda smiled and interrupted them. " I am sorry to barge in but I was wondering if Master Jayden would like to have Cream rolls and beef buns as its already time for lunch."
Jayden giggled and nodded his head. And I rolled my eyes.
"Aunt Zenda you still remember the things I liked back then." Jayden said excitedly.
"What do you mean Liked? Don't you like it now?" Zenda asked with a confused expression, as she had woken up early that day to prepare it since Jayden was coming back and it was his favorite carving when his mom was alive.
I took my pad and wrote. "Nothings change, he will eat like a pig, if you give them those."
And I poked my tongue at him.
All of us started laughing, looking at Jayden's silly expression.
And Jayden shook his head helplessly.

The man smoothly pulled his car at the entrance of the hospital. He was very tall and lean but strongly built with wide shoulders fanning out from a thick neck. He had a long and narrow face, skin was Brown and smooth, except for the lines at the eyes. He was dressed in a jean and sweat stain denim full sleeve shirt, his sleeves rolled up showing up a pair of thick arms, he approached the end of the hallway and round the corner. As soon as he tried to go inside the restricted area an attendant sitting near the reception stopped him and held up his hand.
"Sorry Sir this area is off-limits to everyone except necessary medical personal."
"Well my friend is here," Levi Brown said. "and I am going to see him. No matter what you say."
" I'm afraid that's impossible."
Levi raked the attendant from head to toe the saw his name tag and said. "look man, I am his only relative and I always make sure that I come in to visit him but this time I'm coming after a month or so, as I was out of the station, so I couldn't visit him and as far as I can see you are a new guy in this hospital, so you don't know about my visits to him. Could you please check on the doctor responsible for his health and come and escort me to my friend.
"I don't think so," he said stubbornly and Levi wanted to strangle him.
"Well, then I am going to go round up the head of this hospital and the local police and the damn commissioner and tell them you refuse to allow a family member to visit a dying relative stop, then they will all take turns kicking your butt down the road Did I mention I spent five years as a CIA agent and got me enough medals to cover whole damn body? Now are you going to let me in or do we have to go down the other street? I want you to answer it right this damn minute.
Unnerved, the attended looked around for a minute, unsure of what to do." I need to call somebody."
"No you don't. You can search me, but I'm going on in there. Won't belong. But it's going to be right now." Levi said determinedly.
"What's your name?" The attendant asked.
"Levi Brown." He pulled out his wallet and got his ID card. "Here is my driving license and I've been here to visit him a lot over the past one years, but I don't recall ever seeing you here."
" I don't work in this hospital," he said. "I am on temporary assignment here, as I am an intern. I study in Seattle university."
"You are from Seattle University? And you are doing guard's duty?" he chuckled,
"Well there are a lot of emergencies in the hospital I had to fill in as a trainee. After the rush is over now, I'll be heading back for my classes."
"Well praise the Lord for them, then. Now, are we done or do you want me to talk to you in a different method?"
"The attendant stared at him for another few seconds. "Turn around," he said finally.
Levi did so. The attendant was checking him up and down. He was checking him very carefully and when he reached his front pant pocket, Levi said. "There is a nail cutter in there. Just pull it out and hold it. You hold good and right, son, I am right partial to that nail cutter."
The attendant nodded and after attending he finished his investigation, he straightened up f and said. " You can see him for only fifteen minutes and I'm going in with you."
"Hey if you go in with me, there will be no one to guard the word. I don't think they will take it lightly if you give away your post and listen to what my brother and I are talking about." He looked at the attendant's features for a second and realized that he was a wannabe savior in disguise. Probably trying to do his best to do his job but something was not right about him and Levi's brows were raised with concern.
As he started to go inside the word attendance said nervously. "fifteen minutes."
Levi looked at his eyes. "Thank you young man," he said it, not meaning one word of it.
He entered the room and closed the door behind him.
"Logan, I am here." He said softly
"Are you sure I can open my eyes right now, as I want don't want that attendant fellow to look at me with curious eyes, as it's damn annoying Levi?" Logan whispered quietly so that no one could hear him.
Levi went over to the side of the bed and stared down at him. "lower down your volume a little bit. We don't want them knowing that you are not in a coma and what in the hell happened to you?"
"Well I don't know somehow I was feeling very sad lately, so it might have affected my brain, so the doctor must have been worried about me."
"You tell me weren't you supposed to be on your field duty or have you taken your retirement so early?"
"Well I had to tell you something and I was very excited. I couldn't stop myself from coming to visit you as I have good news for you." Levi said softly.
