Callie's POV
I woke up with a headache today, as I was twisting and turning the whole night thinking about Hudson. In the initial days of my separation from him. I could not sleep for months but I had busied myself with work and so I had less time to muse about him. But never in these past four years had I ever stopped thinking about him, as I had given my heart to him a long time back and could never allow myself to go closer to any other man.
I had deliberately cut all ties with him and made sure that my name was not splashed in the tabloids as I did not want to be famous.
I liked it when I was appreciated for the work that I did, as I gave all my heart and soul into building something which would give them a roof and I would have the satisfaction that I was giving my best.
I got up and dressed lazily, as I knew it was going to be a long day ahead.

Jayden's POV
Jayden was waiting for Callie and Hudson at the sight and looking irritated at his watch.
Callie was never late for her work but that day she was taking her own Sweet time and he knew exactly why but he wanted Hudson to be involved in the project, as his ideas are remarkable.
Besides, he had already decided to give the project to Hudson but knowing Callie, he knew that Callie had studied their mother's previous design well and applied her projection and made it into a more extravagant one.
He wanted very badly that those two humans who were very close to him should also be close to each other.
But their past was a problem, so he needed to work on that and stay as close as he could in between the two so that there were, no conflicts.
"Jayden I am sorry, I am late," Hudson said, as he came nearer to him. And Jayden turned towards him.
"Hello Hudson, that's okay, as my sister has not arrived as well," Jayden confirmed as he saw Hudson's eyes moving around.
"Shall we inspect the grounds before you start demolishing the old building," Jayden said softly as he inspected the old property left by his ancestors.
That land stretched to ten hectors had a beautiful landscape and was eyed by all the elite class but his mother's family were the rich aristocrats of Seattle's business circle, so after his grandfather's death my mother was left with his legacy she wanted to build a charitable hospital as well as an old age home for the needy so keeping that in mind and the growing business need Callie had designed the layout well.
This was an old place and it had to be demolished to set up the new foundation.
Just as the demolish started, he saw Callie walking towards them and he felt some weight lifted from his chest.
"Jayden the demolishing has started. I am so sorry, I was late. The line at Starbucks was quite long but I had to have the mocha, as my head was about to explode, so I was late." She said with a grin and sipped her mocha.
Jayden looked at her sister lovingly and scolded her. "How can you be so late, on the first day of your work huh.?"
"Big bro, I am sorry," Callie said teasingly hugged him from behind and tickled him.
While Jayden tried to get away from her and finally when she was done she poked her tongue out.
Hudson's POV
Hudson was looking at their sweet confrontation but when he saw Callie poking her tongue out, there was a weird kind of sensation building inside him.
He leisurely enjoyed their confrontation and walked In front of them without warning.
"If you are done, Miss Callie could we please get going and do some work, we need to know the foundation layout and all the engineers are eagerly waiting for you.
Callie's POV
He looked at her with challenging eyes as If signalling her not to fight it.
I looked around to call Scarlett who was busy inspecting the grounds and without glancing at Hudson followed him in the opposite direction.

A man was sitting on the couch and a woman was sitting on top of him. Both were naked and she was moving her body up and down.

He was wearing a Bluetooth wireless headset, so it was very convenient to hold the woman's breast and play with it, while he listened to the caller.
"The Clarke project has laid its foundation." The caller said flatly.
The man smiled and smirked a little and said. "And so the show begins."
He cut the call and turned picked up the woman laid her on the bed and gestured for her to turn and lift her hips as soon as she was ready, he positioned himself and started thrusting inside her rapidly.
And the woman was moaning with pleasure.
But the man became very ruthless after some time, making her gasp with pain and she was begging him to let go but the man was not stopping and was thrusting hard.
The woman screamed and collapsed on the bed and the man removed himself away from her and went inside the bathroom, whistling away.

Author's POV
The work was going with a flow and everything was being pulled down but it would take the whole day, so Jayden decided to rush back to the hotel and finish up his work Callie and Hudson decided to stay back as Callie wanted to check the grounds before laying down the foundation.
She went back to the parking area with Jayden to see him off, leaving Hudson all alone with the engineer.
Before driving away, Jayden had told Callie to behave herself and try to get along with Hudson, as the project would take a lot of time and it was better to remain friends than act like strangers.
Callie was walking down the lane towards the big pillars which were very huge but very old. And was busy staring at Hudson. He was dressed up in denim and a T-shirt and looked very handsome. Hudson had the charisma to attract people and make them awe.
She walked slowly and steadily taking her time and looking around her surroundings with interest.
But suddenly the crusher was rolling towards her with speed. And she panicked but after a few seconds, she started signaling the person to stop the crusher.
But it was moving more rapidly as if it was out of control.
Callie was horrified but there was no place for her to go as behind her there was a wall and in front of her was the crusher. She looked at it helplessly.
But as it was centimetres away the crusher stopped and Callie let out the breath that she was holding.
Suddenly she hugged her tightly and she was so scared that she just snuggled in his comfortable embrace, as she knew it was none other than Hudson.
"Callie, are you all right?" Hudson asked softly.
Callie's POV
I was in a trance, so I just nodded my head. Someone just tried to kill me.
"I better take you home, it must have shaken your senses. I am going to make life miserable for that guy who tried to cause the accident."
I was now a little alert, as I wanted to know what had caused that accident if it had not been stopped, I would have been crippled to death.
I was shaken but I took out my pad and wrote.
"What went wrong? did you enquire?"
My engineer is investigating it. We will get to the bottom of this but you should be heading home, I don't want you to stay here any longer. The demolishing is almost over, so I will drop you at the hotel where you are staying." Hudson said with concern.
I composed myself and wondered today is the first day of the official demolition of the project and on the first day this happened.
I am keeping my fingers crossed and pray that no more accident happens.
As we walked towards the parking the engineer came and smiled at me but called Hudson aside and whispered something very softly, I couldn't hear it and wondered what were they whispering about.
As soon as we sat in Hudson's car, I looked at him questioningly.
"I will tell you about it when we reach your hotel, as I will get the full report in another fifteen minutes," Hudson said softly.
Neither of us spoke for the rest of the way and when we reached the hotel's parking, I saw Jayden waiting for us at the entrance.
As soon as I got out of the car he hugged me tightly.
"Kiddo are you all right?" Jayden asked me nervously and I just hugged him back as I know how worried he must have been when he heard the news. I was his only family and for him, nothing else mattered.
I just nodded my head pulled him towards the lift and gestured for Hudson to follow us.
We were settled down on the couch and were having the mocha prepared by Scarlett. Jayden had given her lots of work, so she could not accompany me to the site in the morning.
Jayden was holding my hand nervously, it was always likes this, as Jayden was always way too sensitive when the matter was related to me.
Hudson ended the call and came and sat opposite me.
He looked at me very nervously.
"What is it, Hudson? Speak up?" Jayden said nervously.
"Well it looks like it was not an accident, as the driver of the crusher is missing and when we checked his rosters, he was not the guy who was supposed to come but the CCTV footage had the clip and I am sure we will be able to get to the bottom of this," Hudson confirmed.
"Callie, I don't want you to head the project," Jayden said flatly and I looked at him in shock.
For some time no one spoke.
I got hold of my pad scribbled very fast and gave it to Jayden.
"But it's mom's dream project."
"Yes Callie, it is but mom is dead now !" Jayden exclaimed. "And I can't afford to lose you because of this project which always brings tragedy to our family. Mom died for this project Callie, I don't want anything wrong happening to you."
I know he was concerned about me but this was Mom's dream project and I had to fulfill her last wish, so I took the pad and wrote again.
"Jayden, I had made up my mind a long time back and nothing will stop me from completing the project.
Jayden knew how determined I am, when I want to do something I don't stop till I get it.
Hudson POV
Hudson looked at Jayden and Callie with a confused expression, as today had been a shock for him. Had he not been checking her out while she was walking towards him? He would have never noticed the crusher trailing towards her.
He had reached there on time and saved her. But he was sure that someone was trying to harm her.
