It was sunny the next day.
Rose was enjoying her brunch. Thinking that Emily had made a fool of herself, Rose was pleased and had a few more glasses of red wine.
She forked the French toast on the plate and added a piece of ham and egg. She ate slowly and laughed happily from time to time.
Rose thought complacently, 'Emily, annoying woman! She made me suffer so many times, and it was finally her turn this time.' She raised her glass and took a sip of wine.
"Rose, why are you still eating?" Laura pushed the door open and walked in.
Rose was in her sexy pajamas and looked tipsy. Laura was a little annoyed after seeing her.

The wine bottle in Rose's hand dropped to the ground. The wine spilled out and ruined her favorite carpet without her noticing it.

At that moment, the door was pushed open and slammed into the wall, making a loud noise.
Rose and Laura looked at the door, only to see Ash walking in angrily.
Laura stood up. Ash was the youngest son of the Hopkinson family. He wasn't as outstanding as his brother Bennett, but he was gentle and kind. He seldom looked so mad.
"Ash, you..." Laura was interrupted just as she said something.
"Shut up!" Ash roared madly.
"You've done a good job! You bitch!" Ash vented his anger without restraint.
Rose hid behind Laura since Ash scared her.
"Ash, do you want to eat something?" Rose said in fear.
Damn it! Laura knew that Rose would make it worse.
She was right. Ash got more furious.
"Eat something? Is that all you know? Are you an idiot?" Ash roared and swept all the plates on the table to the ground. Rose's favorite carpet was completely ruined.
Laura patted Rose's hand, telling her not to provoke Ash anymore.
They hugged each other, shaking.
After Ash was done venting his anger, Laura said, "Ash, what's going on?"
Ash's eyes looked red. He glared at Laura and said, "Check your email!"
With that, he pushed the door and left.
Laura didn't have her phone with her, and she didn't want to go back to get her phone or computer. She wanted to know what had happened right now.
"Rose, where's your computer?" She asked Rose, who was in a daze.
Soon, Laura clicked her inbox and found the latest email.
As they read the email, their faces turned paler and paler. Laura grabbed Rose's arm tightly, and Rose dared not to cry out in pain.
"How could that be? How could she do it?" Rose muttered in disbelief.
At the end of the email, an animated monkey appeared and then turned into fireworks, which formed a big red word "Surprise". Laura was scared and threw the mouse away.
"It's Emily. What a bitch!" Rose said.

"How did she know..." Rose retorted.
"It's not the point. You should know about the monkey virus and the monitor. She must have a computer expert helping her," Laura cut in. "She was taking revenge on us. It wasn't difficult for her to figure out what we had done at the dinner party.

"I'll go talk to him. Have someone clean up the house," Laura said as she walked out.
Laura knocked on the door of Ash's study.
"Piss off!" Ash shouted from inside the room.
She stopped knocking, and then Laura's calm voice came through the door.
"Ash, we need to talk."
"I told you to piss off! I'm done with your lies!" Ash roared.
Laura heard a bang on the door, and Ash must have thrown something at the door.
"Ash, don't you know me? If I didn't care about you, I wouldn't have done such a thing." Laura sounded emotional and faintly choked. "We have been working together for so long, and I have never hidden anything from you. But why do you believe in other people's words so easily? Can't you let me explain?"
After a moment of silence, Ash said, "Come in."
Laura sighed in relief.
She opened the door and saw the scattered books on the ground. She walked to Ash calmly and sat down.
"The email was sent by Emily," Laura said.
"Is the content of the email true?" Ash suddenly asked.
"Ash, I had no choice." Laura bit her lips and decided to tell the truth.
"You lied to Bennett and me. You and Rose embezzled the company's funds behind my back!" Ash felt that he had been betrayed.
Laura leaned against the chair and said sadly, "Bennett is so good to Emily, and I have to plan for Rose and myself. Moreover, I was not the only one who lied to Bennett. You did it, too."
After saying that, both she and Ash fell silent.
After a while, Laura looked up at Ash and continued, "Haven't you hidden anything from me?"
