Revenge with My Quadruplets

Chapter 79

Ch. 79 / 160 May 08, 2026

Derek's heart was torn with anxiety, but he didn't tell Emily immediately.

He would only take action when he was fully confident in what he was doing.

If Emily was not Aaron and Ian's mother, Derek wished to be the only one disappointed and did not want Emily to bear it.

"Find a way to get Emily's DNA sample."

Derek flipped through the paternity test report, and his thoughts were not reflected on his face.

Eric lowered his head immediately after glancing at Derek's expression.

"Do you want..."

"Check if there are blood ties between Aaron, Ian, and Emily."

Derek crossed his hands beneath his chin and blocked his lips.

Emily was also looking through the paternity test report.

"So, I was right about it."

Emily had been skeptical about Rose's background. When the test report confirmed it, she was mad since it was outrageous.

Andrew was both shocked and angry. He had been by Bennett's side for many years and had long considered Bennett his family.

"Damn it! How could Laura do that? She must have something to do with Bennett's accident."

Andrew was uncertain about it before. But now, he was sure that Bennett's death was related to Laura.

Emily handed a glass of water to Andrew, who was trembling with anger.

"We will make them pay for what they have done. No matter how well they cover it up, we will find clues."

"You're right. I should stay cool."

Andrew took a seat to calm himself down.

"Andrew, try to recall what happened back then. Since they were desperate to frame you, you must have done something that made her afraid, but you didn't realize it at the time."

Andrew calmed down and listened carefully to Emily.

"Did something unusual happen before and after the incident? Anything strange?"

Emily was desperate to know the truth. She had waited for so many years, and she would not make the slightest mistake at such a critical moment.

Andrew furrowed his eyebrows.

"I'm not sure... Wait. Could that be related?"

Andrew seemed to recall something he wasn't sure about.

"What is it?"

Emily leaned forward and looked straight at Andrew.

"There was one thing." Andrew gulped and said, "Before I was framed, someone tampered with my computer, but I wasn't sure. I checked it, and nothing seemed to be missing. Then, I got busy with other things and forgot about it."

Andrew recalled while speaking. He couldn't remember the details because it was a remote memory.

Emily asked further, "Was there anything special on your computer?"

"Mostly business documents of the company. Well, also Bennett's itinerary, and..." Andrew suddenly stood up. "And surveillance footage in Bennett's office!"

Emily also stood up, feeling that she had found the key.

She looked at Andrew, and they both understood the meaning behind it.

"That's it! At that time, there was something wrong with my RAM, so I took it for repair. Because the footage was difficult to export, so I didn't," Andrew was rambling.

"Someone did check your computer. They were looking for the surveillance footage!"

Emily's heart was pounding with excitement, her intuition telling her that the footage was a vital clue.

The surveillance cameras must have recorded something. Something that made Laura worried. So, she and others were so nervous that they had to check Andrew's computer secretly.

Moreover, Andrew's being framed and his years of wandering should also be related to the surveillance footage.

Emily didn't know how to face Andrew, who shouldn't have to go through such painful experiences.

He was the most innocent one and shouldn't be involved in this incident.

Andrew, have you ever thought about..." Emily hesitated to speak, only to be interrupted by Andrew.

Andrew looked at her blankly and sat down on the chair with weak legs.

Emily didn't know what to say.

After a while, Andrew's low voice sounded. "I can't believe it. How could that be possible? My life was ruined, just like that."

His tone was filled with agony.

Emily poured a cup of water and put it on the table. Then, she gently patted Andrew's shoulder.

"I should have found you earlier."

"No, it's not your fault." Andrew raised his head with a bitter smile. "We're both victims. How can I blame you for it?"

He rubbed his face, and when he looked up again, he was once again the capable assistant.

"If you want to quit, I understand," Emily gave Andrew a chance to make a choice.

"What are you talking about? I'm not quitting. I'll make them pay." Andrew shrugged nonchalantly.

"Okay, since you made your choice, I won't give you any chance to regret it." Emily looked at Andrew seriously. What they had to do next didn't allow any hesitation, and she didn't want there to be any potential risks.

Andrew gazed at her with determination.

There had been progress in Bennett's case, and Emily was busy every day. She often returned home late when Chris and Diane had fallen asleep.

Emily gently tucked them in, dimmed the lights, and tiptoed to the bathroom for a shower.

The vapor covered the mirror, making it misty. Emily reached out to wipe the mirror and looked at herself in the mirror.

She looked no different from five years ago, her tall and slender figure, smooth skin, and delicate face still as charming as before. It was just that after going through so many things, her eyes were no longer as clear as before, and a kind of mysterious charm was added.

Emily's appearance didn't change much, but everything else had changed.

She knew that she was getting closer and closer to the truth.

Her heart was filled with despair, a strange emotion that was a mixture of confusion and excitement before unveiling the truth.

Looking at herself in the mirror, Emily became more resolute. Nothing could stop her, not even herself.

Emily walked out with a moist body. When Chris felt her warmth, he squinted and hugged her, rubbing his head against her neck.

"Mommy."

"Go back to sleep. I'll come with you," Emily said tenderly.

Chris rubbed his eyes and nodded. Emily got into bed and reached out to hug both Chris and Diane.

With so many things happening lately, she thought she would have trouble sleeping. But, she fell asleep within minutes with her kids in her arms.
