The shoot went smoothly. The first set of photos was taken. Andy took Diane to change clothes and prepared to take the second set.
"Diane, go and change clothes with Andy. I'll go see Chris, okay?" Emily was a little worried about Chris. She wondered how he was doing in the lounge.
"Don't worry, I'll take good care of Diane. After all, I'm her assistant." Andy took Diane's hand and went to the dressing room.
Emily came to the lounge. It was quiet inside. She knocked on the door and pushed it open.
Chris was writing something on the table. Emily walked in and found that it was a number puzzle.
It seemed that he had enjoyed this game since Aaron taught Chris the rules.
"Chris, I'm back. Are you bored?" Emily felt a little guilty.
Chris raised his head and looked at Emily. His eyes lit up with joy. He was glad to see Emily.
"I'm not bored. Mommy, I enjoy this game and also the quietness." Chris smiled, revealing his white teeth.
"You've been learning for so long. Let's take a break and drink some water, OK?" Emily turned around and handed the water to Chris.
"Mommy, I have water and food. I want to set a good example for you. Mommy, you have to drink water and eat on time." Chris turned into a butler and instructed Emily. She often forgot to eat when she was working.
Emily felt guilty. She looked at her watch and said, "It will be lunchtime soon. What do you want to eat? I'll get Andy to buy it."
"Mommy, don't change the topic." Chris puffed up his cheeks in anger. Mommy was always like this. She changed the topic whenever she encountered something she didn't want to talk about. He wouldn't be fooled.
"Chris, don't be like an old fart. I'll drink water now, okay?" Emily rubbed Chris' face.
"Mommy..." Chris protested, but it was futile.
Emily kissed Chris hard on the face. "Baby, don't work too hard. I'll turn on the tablet for you. Let's watch a cartoon."
"No, Mommy. The cartoon is too childish. I want to watch a science program." Chris hated cartoons. He was already a hacker, so how could he enjoy watching cartoons?
"Okay, sure. I'll get it for you." Emily turned on the tablet and found the program that Chris wanted to watch. Then, she looked at the time.
"Mommy, go back now. Diane needs you." Chris noticed Emily's actions.
"Chris, you're so sweet. You must call me if there's anything." Emily couldn't help but kiss Chris again. He was such a considerate boy.
Chris watched as Emily walked out of the room and disappeared from his sight.
Suddenly, the door was pushed open again and Emily poked her head in. "Baby, you haven't told me what you want for lunch."
Chris suddenly cheered up again.
Emily happily returned to the studio after amusing her son.
"Emily, why are you so happy?" Andy asked curiously.
"I just amused a cute guy," Emily said happily.
Andy was even more confused.
"Has Diane changed her clothes?" Emily asked.
"Yes, she's already taking photos," Andy replied.
"It's almost noon. Andy, please help me to order some lunch." Emily told Andy what she wanted, and then she thought for a moment. "Get me some coffee as well. I'll buy everyone coffee this afternoon. All of them have been working hard."
Andy nodded and left in a hurry. She wanted to order food for everyone, and then she had to ask what they wanted to drink. If she didn't hurry up, everyone would be starving.
Emily came to Jimmy's side to watch Diane take photos. After Diane saw Emily, she was in a better state and looked happier.
Jimmy looked at Emily thoughtfully.
"Emily, go over there for a moment. That's right. Over there." Jimmy had an idea and he told Emily to stand in a position.
"Diane, look at Emily. Yes, that's the expression. Very good." Jimmy found that the joy that Diane showed when she saw Emily was infectious. Everyone with a child would unconsciously stop when they saw this expression because they would feel that their child was smiling at them.
"Diane, you look so good in this set of clothes." Emily constantly encouraged Diane to help her maintain a good state.
The photographer and model were in a good state. The photos were quickly taken. The work in the morning was completed on time. Everyone was happy because they could rest at noon.
"Mommy, I'm so tired," said Diane as she hugged Emily's leg.
Emily bent down to pick Diane up and carried her to the chair beside her.
"How are your legs feeling? Let me massage them for you. There are two sets of photos to take in the afternoon."
At this moment, Andy walked over with two drinks.
"Are they for us?" Emily turned to look at Andy when she heard someone calling her.
Andy nodded.
Emily saw two cups of orange juice.
"It tastes good. I like orange juice. Thank you, Andy." Diane was thirsty. She finished her glass of orange juice quickly.
"Drink slowly, or your stomach will hurt," Emily said as she wiped the juice off the corner of Diane's mouth.
Diane threw herself into Emily's arms. Emily's arms were so soft that she didn't want to leave.
"Diane should take a nap to recharge herself for the work in the afternoon," Andy said with concern.
At this time, Andy's phone rang. She looked at it.
"Emily, lunch is here. I'll go get it. You guys go to the lounge. I'll bring it to you later," Andy said and hurried out.
"Alright, just take your time." Before Emily could finish speaking, Andy was already gone.
Emily carried Diane back to the lounge. It was still quiet inside.
Emily leaned over and found out that Chris was asleep on the sofa. He got a cushion as a pillow for himself.
Chris slept in a decent posture just like his character. It was a contrast with his age. Emily smiled gently.
She placed the sleepy Diane next to Chris, and Diane rubbed her eyes and yawned.
"Mommy, I'll eat after I wake up. You have to call me," Diane said in a low voice. She was sleepy. Since Chris was sleeping soundly, she decided to take a quick nap too.
"Sleep now, baby. I'll wake you up to eat later." Emily rubbed Diane's head and Diane rubbed her head against Emily's palm.
Emily felt that Diane was so lovely and laughed. Then, she found a blanket and covered the two children with it to keep them warm.
Emily adjusted the temperature of the air conditioner, turned on the tablet, and switched it to silent mode. She watched the video Chris just watched.
Andy knocked on the door and came in. She was touched by the sweet scene.
Emily saw Andy walk in. She gestured to Andy to keep quiet. Andy nodded.
Andy gently placed the lunch on the table and tiptoed out. Emily moved her lips, "Thank you."
