Revenge with My Quadruplets

Chapter 55

Ch. 55 / 160 May 08, 2026

Derek told Emma that he did not love Rose, even though they had a one-night stand.

In fact, he was confused about why he would have a one-night stand with such a woman. Since then, he had become more vigilant.

Derek agreed to get engaged to Rose because he thought that this was the best choice for Aaron and Ian. Although he had no feelings for Rose, he wanted to give his children a complete family.

If he had to marry someone he didn't love, it didn't matter who that woman was.

However, Rose hurt Aaron and Ian again and again, causing Derek to be disappointed in her.

He had once thought that he would not fall for any woman...

  Until he met Emily.

Derek didn't even know when she had won his heart.

Fortunately, he was unaware of his affection for Emily when he agreed to the deal with Emily. If it was now, he wasn't sure if he could remain calm. Even if she didn't agree to his terms, he would still help her.

After answering Emma's call, Derek thought a lot.

Since Derek was in a daze, Eric hesitated. Did he still have to do what Derek had ordered before?

He didn't get a chance to ask Derek about it until he got off work and went home.

In the evening, just as Emily coaxed Chris and Diane to sleep, her phone rang.

"Emily, come to me quickly. Help!" As soon as Emily picked up the phone, Jayden's cry sounded. "I lost my wallet. I don't have any money with me. You're the closest to me. You've got to help me."

"Make things clear." Emily rubbed her forehead.

"I saw a man who suited my tastes. I wanted to buy him a drink and didn't do anything else. But I didn't expect him to be so powerful, and I was controlled by his bodyguards." Jayden felt wronged and choked with sobs. "He said that I could buy him a drink, but a glass of wine costs 10,000 dollars. He had three glasses of wine. If you don't help me, my finger will be chopped off."

Jayden's phone was taken away. Emily heard a strange male voice. The man told her the address and hung up the phone.

Teresa was about to go to sleep. When she saw that Emily was going out, she asked, "It is so late. Where are you going?"

"To save someone's life." Emily left hurriedly after saying it.

"Be careful," Teresa shouted behind her.

Emily rushed to the bar and saw a group of people at first glance. Jayden was tied up and thrown to the ground.

"Emily." Since his savior had arrived, Jayden struggled to stand up. The man behind him kicked his leg, and Jayden fell to the ground again.

Emily wanted to walk over, yet someone stopped her.

"Where's the money?" The man in sunglasses spoke. He was the one who was mentioned by Jayden.

The man looked overbearing, and it seemed that no one could afford to offend him. Emily could not figure out why Jayden had provoked such a person. She glanced at Jayden, her expression complicated.

Emily took out the money from her bag and handed it to the man. She had just withdrawn it.

The man wearing sunglasses handed the money to his subordinates without even looking at it. He didn't intend to let Emily and Jayden leave before counting the money.

Soon, the amount of money was confirmed.

The man drank the wine on the table and said, "This is for you."

He left with his men. When he passed Jayden, he took the notes from his subordinates and patted Jayden's face with them. "I just taught you a lesson. Next time..."

The man left without finishing his sentence.

"Emily, don't be angry. Wait for me." Jayden rubbed his wrist. He was tied up tightly, and his wrists were covered in red marks. His legs were also tied up, so he couldn't walk fast enough to catch up with Emily.

"Seriously? You come to the bar late at night. Look at the person you've messed with. How many fingers do you have?" Emily stopped and pointed at Jayden. "If you dare to do it again, I'll call your boyfriend and tell him!"

Jayden was flustered in an instant. He could make a fuss, but he did not dare to tell his boyfriend about what he had done tonight.

"Why are you following me!" Emily pushed him away in anger.

Jayden wasn't a playboy. He simply enjoyed flirting in the bar. He would slip away before it got serious.

Emily wanted to teach him a lesson. Otherwise, she was worried that he would put himself into bigger trouble.

"I lost my wallet. I don't have any money on me now. Please take me in for a night." Jayden was no longer the arrogant designer. He was as miserable as a defeated rooster.

Emily covered her nose because of the strong smell of alcohol on Jayden's body. "Sit in the back seat. You have to pay to wash my car."

Jayden did not dare to disagree. He curled up obediently in the back seat with his head lowered, looking quite pitiful.

Emily was not as angry as before. Jayden was easily complacent, so she did not speak to him on the way deliberately.

When she got home, Emily opened the door and entered the house.

"Why aren't you coming in?" Emily asked when she saw Jayden standing at the door.

"If Chris and Diane saw me like this, my image in their eyes would be ruined," Jayden muttered. He was a designer, and how could he lose his face in front of the children?

"If you can think so earlier, I don't have to go out at all." Emily glared at him.

Jayden lowered his head and complained in his heart, 'Emily is so scary.'

"There are no more rooms. Just sleep on the sofa," Emily said and went upstairs.

Soon, she came down with the quilt and pillow.

"Go to bed after taking a shower. Don't let Chris and Diane notice the smell of alcohol on you, or your debt will double," Emily said fiercely.

Jayden agreed and went to take a shower. He did whatever Emily asked him to.

Teresa heard the noise and came out to see what was happening, yet Emily managed to send her back to her room.

Jayden lay on the sofa after taking a shower. The smell of alcohol on his body was gone, but he felt uncomfortable from being drunk.

"Emily, I feel bad," Jayden said in a small voice.

"Here you are. Drink it." Emily said as she gave him a cup of honey water. "Go back tomorrow morning and apologize to your boyfriend."

"Okay." Jayden took the cup dejectedly. The sweet taste spread in his mouth, and he felt his stomach more comfortable.

The next morning, Emily woke up early. She was still a little worried about Jayden.

When she went downstairs, she found that Jayden had left. He tidied up the sofa and left a note.

Emily read the note. Jayden finally had a suitable reason to go back.

Derek called Eric while he was still sleeping.

"Eric, have you done it?" Derek asked.

"Yes. His wallet was thrown into the trash can." Eric knew what Derek was asking about.

"Just pretend that nothing happened," Derek said after a moment of silence.

Then, he quickly hung up the phone.
