Revenge with My Quadruplets

Chapter 43

Ch. 43 / 160 May 08, 2026

Dream Kids put a lot of effort into children's clothing. So, they had many candidates for their advertising, and after screening and research, they signed the contract with Diane.

The team was hired by Dream Kids, and the makeup artist would be Emily. They had discussed this in advance in the contract.

Emily and the kids had just stepped out of the elevator when they met Andy who came to pick them up.

Andy was the assistant that was arranged for Diane by Dream Kids, and Emily had called her in advance.

"Emily, Diane, and are you Chris?" Andy learned about the situation in advance, so she immediately recognized them.

"Yes, Andy. Where is Diane's dressing room?" Emily asked.

"Come with me. Diane's dressing room is over here." Andy led Emily and the kids to the door.

Andy had prepared orange juice and snacks for Diane and Chirs since they were still kids. When Emily saw these preparations, she began to know Andy better.

"Chris, you have to stay here by yourself later. You can play on the computer, but just don't do it for too long, okay?" Emily couldn't stay here with Chris, so she felt bad about it.

"Don't worry, Mommy. Go and look after that idiot." Chris nodded. He could take care of himself.

"If there's anything, you must look for me immediately. Do you understand?" Emily said.

"Mommy, hurry up and go to work." Chris had made plans for his time here.

Emily quickly put on makeup for Diane. Diane had nice facial features and skin and didn't need much makeup. She only needed to highlight her advantages. The natural state of children at this age was the best.

Dream Kids targeted middle-class families and those above, not only the design and philosophy were important, but they had to display the clothes well, so, Emily put on light makeup for Diane. It was almost impossible to see it under the light. Emily wanted to show Diane's natural state.

After the makeup was done, Emily brought Diane to the studio, and the photographer made an "OK" gesture.

Diane's sweet and lovely image matched perfectly with the dress. The surrounding people all felt that she was a good model.

"She's so cute. I wish to have a kid as cute as her."

"When the clothes are on the market, I will buy some for my kid. It's so beautiful. My daughter will become a princess after she wears it."

"Why do I not have a daughter? I also want to buy the same dress."

Emily smiled as she listened to the conversation.

Suddenly, she noticed something. "Wait," she said to Jimmy, the photographer.

Jimmy stopped and looked at her in confusion.

"The plan we made before was not like this. Why is the toy missing?" Emily pointed at the picture.

"I'll go confirm it," Andy responded quickly.

Jimmy compared the picture and the setting, then he said, "I don't think it's a problem. We should keep going."

Emily's face darkened. She was serious about her work, so she didn't like Jimmy's casual attitude.

"I know that we only have one day to shoot the ad, but the result is more important than finishing the work on time, isn't it?" Asked Emily.

Jimmy hated it when people questioned his ability. He was also angry. "Hey, this is my job. You just need to put on makeup for the model. Don't make suggestions for things you don't know much about, okay?"

Emily took a deep breath. She simply wanted to solve the problem, not to create a conflict.

"The plan was agreed upon by everyone. It should be carried out accordingly. If you think this is better, we can make two versions and use the one with better effects in the end," Emily suggested.

Jimmy felt uncomfortable about it. He didn't like people to challenge him, but Emily said it genuinely, so he didn't object.

  Soon, Andy came back.

"I'm sorry, Emily. I can't find the missing toy, but I found a similar one. It's a sample, so it hasn't been colored yet." Andy looked bad. The filming could have been going normally, but it was delayed because of the prop.

"Let me see." Emily took the toy from Andy. She checked it over and over again. This toy was the same as the one in the plan. But it wasn't colored, and it was too late to do that.

She suddenly remembered that the branch company had such materials. She said to Andy, "I have an idea. Wait for me for a while."

She took out her phone and called, "Andrew, it's me. Are you in the company? Great, I need these materials. Bring them to me at this address. Hurry up."

"How is it?" Andy asked anxiously when he saw that Emily's expression had relaxed a little.

"I'll get someone to send me the materials. He'll be here soon." Emily looked at the time.

Andy's expression eased up. Although she was an assistant of Diane, she was also responsible for the shooting. If there was a problem, she would be in trouble too.

Jimmy, the photographer, didn't waste any time. Since Emily said that she wanted to take pictures of two versions, he took advantage of the moment to get one version. Every minute spent in the studio would cost money.

Jimmy took a serious shot. Although he did not refute Emily, he planned to let Emily see the final effect. He wanted to prove that he was right.

Perhaps it was because his desire to win was too strong, and his attitude towards Diane became harsh.

"This posture is not good. Be more natural. You need to look happy, understand?" Jimmy asked.

Diane had filmed many times, but Jimmy's impatient attitude affected her and made her performance worse.

Emily had just received the materials sent by Andrew and saw that Diane was about to cry because of Jimmy's harsh attitude.

"Stop, Jimmy," Emily shouted. "Your attitude has affected Diane."

"You'd better comfort her. We're now behind schedule." Jimmy threw the camera away impatiently and left.

"Mommy." Diane's tears welled up, but she tried to blink her eyes to stop them from streaming down. Otherwise, her makeup would be ruined, and it would affect the shoot.

"Don't worry, baby. It's not your fault. Look, I brought the materials, and we can finish filming soon." Emily squatted down and wiped the tears from Diane's eyes.

"Can you help me, Diane?" Emily said gently.

Her calm tone soothed Diane and she began to relax.

"Okay, Mommy, we'll do it together." Diane chuckled with tears in her eyes.

Emily quickly cut the material and asked Diane to paste it on the toy sample. The toy gradually looked different and soon became the same as that in the picture.

Andy's eyes widened when she saw it. She felt that Emily was amazing.

"Done. Look, isn't it the same?" Emily picked up the toy.

"This is amazing. I'll call Jimmy." Andy shouted excitedly.
