In New Jersey, Anna Lester was called out again, she isn't feeling well at all. After her last confrontation with Richard, she hadn't been fine again.
When she stepped out, he saw Clem. He squinted. He is Adrian's assistance and why is he alone, where is her son?
“How're you doing Aunt?” Clem asked, helping her to a seat comfortably. He was wrong not to have visited Adrian's mother. He'd just been Searching for his boss and it didn't cross his heart that he should be checking on his mother as well.
“I'm not fine until I see him, until I'm sure my son is fine. Tell me Clem, Where is Adrian, where is my son?” Anna asked, her eyes well up with tears.
She'd become thin and her eye sockets are now deep. Prison life can never be suitable for anyone. The once beautiful elegant Anna Lester has now become a shadow of her former self.
“Honestly Aunt, I don't know where he is. I've been searching everywhere for him. Mr Richard and I are almost turning the nation upside down in search of him but he's nowhere to be found.
But I will not relent. Until we find him, we aren't going to rest. We'll keep searching until Adrian is found…” Clem informed.
By evening, Nelson visited the hospital again, this time, he returned with a $50 note, neatly placed in his wallet. He appeared sad and sullen, he has the looks of “I wish I can do more”
Jess was happy when she saw him. He held his hand and said “The surgery was successful and the medical doctors all were on their toes until Mom was wheeled out hours later” she narrated.
“Oh really?” Nelson stared at her in surprise. He pulled out his wallet and showed her the only dollar note in there “I went around and I was only able to raise this $50. I was going to make a deposit so that the surgery can begin” he explained.
Jess placed her hand on his with a broad smile. They needed hundreds of dollars and he was only able to raise $50? She feels his condition was more pathetic than her mom's.
“It's fine, Nel. Keep the money, you'll be needing it more than we do for now. Thank goodness that the surgery had been done and it's successfully” Jess stuttered
“Were you able to raise money within the shortest time?” He asked, disappointed that he couldn't help. He feels bad about it.
“No. A doctor told me that the billionaire business mogul, Adrian Lester was the one who footed the bills. And he's someone that shouldn't be provoked or annoyed..” Jess explained.
“Oh, that dude. I've heard a few things about him. Anyways, I'm glad we got someone who helped”Nelson declared.
The next few days, Margaret Gordon was feeling better. Their medical Bills were being footed by Adrian Lester.
Meanwhile, Aurora and Patrick decided to show their interest in being part of the Penguin breweries. A company that almost went bankrupt. No one expected it to rise so suddenly
And to know that the new owner already budgets trillions of dollars in making the business grow surpasses what anyone could expect.
Everyone was waiting for the launching of the new product after it's been bought. Penguin brewery is going to beat other breweries hands down on this business.
In his apartment, Nelson was going through the different companies, showing interest in partnering with the Penguin breweries when he saw the proposal of interest signed in Patrick's name.
In Blake's mansion, Everyone was talking about the penguin business whose main operation is brewing. They used to be the best brewery company in the continent and extended to other countries and regions.
But suddenly, like an engine whose source of power went out, it quenched and couldn't be revived. Now, it's comeback appeared massive and the new owner is someone no one knows.
Their new product was going to be launched in X-city as the company was based there. The idea was uncalled for but the owner seemed to be an Australian.
The new wine that comes in different forms, alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks has a brand name, a unique one at that. “Broken Bonds”
“Santiago, aren't you going to show interest in partnership with this unknown CEO of the penguin business?” Simon asked. This new business is worth more than the Blakes business.
And everyone aspires to partner with those stronger than them. But this unmasked CEO sends chills down everyone's spine.
“I've sent in my proposals dad. I just hope it gets approved. I have this feeling that this company will shake not only this continent but the world at large. This comeback appeared so massive to be joked with” Santiago declared.
“You're right, Santiago. It's going to be massive” Simon Blake agreed before turning to Aurora “How about your partner, is he into it as well?”
“Yes dad. We're in as well” Aurora declared. Their new business has gotten a geometric growth in their business and Patrick is becoming one of those CEOs that matters.
“Let's keep our fingers crossed and see what the outcome would be. I tried to investigate the new owner of Penguin breweries but even the employees and shareholders don't know him.
They can only describe him as a man in a mask. No one knows his name yet except the company lawyers who sealed the deal. But they've also sworn an oath of secrecy.
He's always been referred to as the mask CEO by his employees. But from a reliable source, he promises to unveil his face at the launching of broken bonds” Simon declared.
“If only Adrian was here, he would uncover the man behind the mask. That I'm sure of” Aurora blurted.
The expertise and skills in that dude's head is second to none. He might be cruel or ruthless, but he definitely was intelligent and smart. He would unveil the man before his real unveiling.
“That's true, Adrian is a smart guy. Except he is not interested otherwise, he would find answers and he does it at his fingertips” Santiago agreed.
“Any news about him yet?” Simon asked, glancing from Aurora to Santiago and back again. Has that boy been found now?
“None, except that his mom was being visited often these days by his son's assistant. But he hadn't stepped out to the public yet” Aurora replied.
That gave her a massive relief. Clem had visited her and recently a woman also did. From an inside source, they learnt that Adrian kept sending those close to check on his mother and sent provisions to her as well.
“It only means he's still alive. That's better. And if he ever shows his face again, tell him Elsie is his daughter. The torture is enough” Simon instructed, his gaze on Aurora.
“His father and grandfather already know that Elsie is theirs,” Aurora said, avoiding her father's gaze.
“Then you should tell him, yourself” Simon insisted. He knows the torture that comes to the realisation that one has a daughter and yet separated from her.
He'd been there before and knows exactly what the feeling is. Just that he'd got Nancy by his side and they comforted each other but Adrian, he's all alone and it hurts.
“Do you think Adrian is the masked boss of the penguin brewery?” Jimmy asked.
