Contract With Alpha Theodore

Chapter 22

Ch. 22 / 220 Apr 30, 2026

Theodore's POV

Jasper's voice trembled violently, like a leaf in the wind. His body shook uncontrollably in my grasp, as if my sudden action had terrified him out of his wits.

The unease in my heart grew stronger, and the force in my hands unconsciously increased as I pressed, "Who exactly did you kidnap?"

"The daughter of the former Alpha of the Thunder Pack, Vanya. It's because she snatched the obsidian rough we could have easily obtained at a low price that I resorted to this..."

Before he could finish his sentence, my anger erupted like a lit powder keg. I lifted my foot and kicked him in the chest with all my might.

Jasper's body flew backward several meters like a broken kite, slamming into the ground and raising a cloud of dust.

I struggled to suppress my wolf and shouted at him, "Where is she?"

Jasper was already terrified, mumbling incoherently.

Derrick grabbed him by the collar, his wolf fangs protruding from his gums, releasing the powerful aura of an Alpha.

Jasper's legs began to tremble as he stammered, "It's... it's in the abandoned... building..."

"Which abandoned building?" Derrick impatiently asked.

"The one..." Jasper's lips trembled, "in the southeast corner..."

"Take him in the car," I said coldly, then turned and walked away.

I sat in the car, not knowing why I was so anxious. My heart burned like fire, and my mind continuously conjured images of the dangers Vanya might be facing.

In reality, I had only known Vanya for a few days, and I didn't understand why I was so worried.

Jasper's fragmented words confirmed that Vanya was imprisoned in an abandoned building.

After getting in the car, Jasper finally managed to blurt out the approximate location.

Without a word, Derrick drove in that direction.

Derrick drove at breakneck speed, and soon, we arrived at a sinister abandoned building not far away.

In this part of Los Angeles, such unfinished buildings are often breeding grounds for crime and potential sites for dark dealings.

"This damned Jasper, how could he trap someone in such a desolate place?"

Derrick cursed while scanning the surroundings like a vigilant cheetah.

The place seemed to be swallowed by endless darkness, eerily silent and only his voice echoed in the empty space, as if the only noise in the darkness, yet exuding an indescribable strangeness.

As soon as the car stopped, I dragged Jasper out of the car swiftly.

He tumbled awkwardly on the ground a few times before staggering to his feet.

Seeing this, Derrick's eyes flashed with anger. Like an enraged bull, he rushed forward and kicked Jasper, roaring, "Where is she?"

Jasper was almost knocked down by the kick, his face filled with terror and flattery.

His tongue seemed tied as he said, "It's they, they hidden her. We just wanted to give Ms. Dalton a lesson. We thought after getting the money, we would blow up this building. This way, we could get rid of Cliff, make a fortune, and impress you. We really didn't expect Ms. Dalton to have old ties with you..."

"Blown up? You said you were going to blow this up? A timed bomb?" Derrick's eyes bulged like copper bells, full of shock and anger, as if he had heard the most incredible thing in the world.

Jasper was scared like a leaf in the wind, nodding desperately. His body trembled like a sieve.

My gaze immediately locked onto him, making him involuntarily swallow.

"Derrick, tie him up tightly. If the bomb explodes, I want him to be the first to accompany the burial," I said coldly, my inner rage burning.

My wolf kept roaring in my mind, "We can't let anything happen to Vanya! We must find her as soon as possible!"

"Why are you so anxious about Vanya?" I couldn't help but respond to my wolf in my mind.

It was silent for a moment, then said, "I don't know. I just feel that she is very important to us."

Hearing this, Jasper fell to his knees, begging for mercy, looking as pitiful as a dog wagging its tail, but Derrick was unmoved. He tied him up with a rope skillfully.

At this moment, I could sense that Vanya was still alive. The primary task was to defuse the potential bomb threat.

Just then, a black Bentley slowly drove in like a ghost in the night.

I recognized it at a glance. It was Cliff's ride.

"Alpha Cliff, what is this place... I'm so scared..."

The female rogue named Melinda clutched Cliff's sleeve tightly, her voice trembling, her eyes full of fear.

Cliff gently patted her hand, comforting, "Stay in the car. Don't get out."

Melinda nodded like an obedient child.

Seeing Cliff get out of the car, Derrick's mouth curled into a mocking sneer, "Your Luna has been kidnapped, and you still have the mind to be affectionate with your lover here?"

"Who exactly kidnapped Vanya?" Cliff's gaze turned to us.

He said coldly, "If I'm not mistaken, Jasper is your man."

I responded expressionlessly, "He acted on his own."

Derrick shouted, "Guys, stop chatting here. What about the bomb?"
