Contract With Alpha Theodore

Chapter 12

Ch. 12 / 220 Apr 30, 2026

Vanya's POV

I raised my chin slightly, my tone calm yet resolute, "I am the Luna of the Silver Moon Pack and do not usually participate in the operations of the pack's companies. However, Alpha Cliff is different. If I were to relay my previous words to Alpha Cliff, I wonder what he might think."

Derrick's face flushed red like a firecracker that had just been lit, veins bulging on his neck.

He roared uncontrollably, "You woman, how can you be so treacherous!"

I turned my gaze to Theodore and spoke frankly, "I don't want to beat around the bush anymore, Theodore. I ask you to lend me four million dollars, for a period of three years, and I will repay it in full with interest."

Derrick's eyes bulged as if he had heard the most absurd thing in the world.

He shouted, "Are you talking nonsense! Four million dollars, do you have any idea how high the interest will accumulate to after three years? If you can't pay it back, we will lose four million dollars for nothing. You are Cliff's mate. What can we do to you then?"

I responded calmly, "I have a clear understanding of the interest. I am willing to sign a contract with you. If I fail to repay it, I will transfer some of the territories of the Thunder Pack and shares of the operating company to you, and from then on, I will work for you wholeheartedly and without complaint, following your orders."

I paused for a moment, sighed lightly, and continued, "Moreover, my mating with Cliff is likely not to last three years. Even if I still bear his Luna's title after three years, he will not provide me with any protection."

Hearing this, Theodore slowly raised his head.

His deep eyes were like a bottomless pool, staring at me intently.

Derrick, like an alert hound, immediately pricked up his ears.

He seemed to have keenly caught a whiff of a secretive and tempting piece of gossip.

But in the blink of an eye, Derrick returned to his normal state, firmly opposing, "Absolutely impossible! I will never agree!"

However, before his words could dissipate in the air, Theodore's deep and steady voice rang out like a bell, "Alright, I will lend it to you."

"What?!"

Derrick jumped up from his chair as if he had been electrocuted, "Are you also crazy?"

Theodore looked calm and said composedly, "The funds, I will arrange for the finance department to transfer to you immediately. The matter of the contract, we can discuss later."

"Theodore! Are you insane?" Derrick was so anxious that he stomped his feet on the spot, waving his hands in the air.

I was a bit surprised that Theodore agreed to my request so readily.

It seemed that four million was indeed not a big number for him.

As for Derrick's performance, I didn't know whether he was genuinely opposing or putting on a show with Theodore.

But for me, my goal had been achieved.

So, I got up, a faint smile appearing at the corner of my mouth, "Thank you, Mr. Kimmons. Then I will wait for your news and look forward to a smooth cooperation."

With that, I turned and left the CEO's office with an elegant gait.

Before leaving, I clearly heard Derrick muttering, "She walks away so carefree, and four million dollars is gone just like that! Are you possessed by a devil? She is Cliff's mate. Why would you lend her money?"

Then I heard Theodore's casual response, "She is very charming."

"Completely unreasonable, all of you seem to be insane!"

I didn't catch the rest, as I had already walked away.

I didn't expect Theodore to evaluate me in such a way.

However, it didn't affect me much. As long as my goal was achieved, that was all that mattered.

I arrived at the Silver Moon Pack.

I had just entered the Packhouse when I saw Cliff sitting in the living room chair before my foot fully landed.

I instinctively frowned slightly.

Memories from my past life flooded in. After Melinda appeared, Cliff came back to the Packhouse less frequently.

I couldn't remember when he became so fond of the Packhouse.

I guessed he just happened to come back and sit, so I immediately turned to go up the stairs.

Suddenly, Cliff's voice pierced the air like a cold arrow, "Luna Vanya!"

I stopped at the sound, asking softly, "What is it?"

My recent coldness and distance towards him obviously made Cliff very uncomfortable.

A trace of displeasure flashed across his face, and he said stiffly, "You forgot about the obsidian rough you bid on at the werewolf gathering? The auction people have come to collect the payment."

I responded calmly, "I see."

Cliff took a slight breath, as if trying to suppress some emotion.

He said, "If you don't have enough money on hand, I can help you."

My heart was unmoved, and I refused coldly, "No need. I've already taken care of it."

"Where did you get the money?" Cliff's eyes were full of doubts.

Five million dollars was indeed not a small sum, and he was well aware of the assets I could mobilize in the Thunder Pack.

In his view, there was no way I could raise so much money at once.

"This is my own business, no need for you to worry," I replied, with a hint of estrangement in my tone.

"Vanya, don't forget that I am your mate," Cliff emphasized with a heavier tone.

I sneered inwardly.

'Mate?'
