Ethan's POV

I smirked, looking at Leo,, who faced me.

"Look here, kid, I'll let you go if you'll kneel down now in front of me and beg for forgiveness," Leo said with a smug look on his face sitting back down on his chair and crossing his legs.

" Beg for forgiveness? " I scoffed.

I've actually never done that in my life.

" Do what he says kid, if you want to live". The same man that had been on Leo's side said with a scoff.

" He is even showing you mercy and giving you a chance to earn his forgiveness. Sir Leo is just too kind and nice".

I scoffed again, brushing my hair, which had grown longer. Backward, I hadn't had time to cut it for the past few weeks because of everything that had happened to Rachel.

" Won't you do as he says!" The man shouted.

I shook my head. Tsk tsk, the guy was literally inviting trouble for himself by himself.

I leaned back on my chair crossing my legs too. " You should apologize to the woman". I gestured to the woman who was shaking beside him. " And just leave quietly". I said with a cold voice staring at the despicable man coldly.

"Why you..." Leo got enraged. His face turned beet red and he clenched his fist in anger. " Guards beat him up, I don't care whoever he is. This kid needs to learn a lesson". He said in rage and about a dozen bodyguards appeared out of nowhere and took a stance in front of me.

This was getting interesting

I tilted my head in amusement watching the bodyguards that were ready to pounce on me.

It's been a long time since I hadexperiencede something like this, back when I was still in the military.

"Beat him!" Leo shouted a,nd the men advanced towards me, just as one of them was about to lay his hands on me, another hand grabbed his hand and threw him across the room.

"What the...?!"

Josh appeared in front of me, throwing each and eevery oneof the bbodyguardsto one side of the room or the other, earning gasps and loud but muffled screams from the others in the VIP section.

I smirked watching everything with a hint of amusement. Slowly reaching out to the table, I grabbed my glass of whiskey twirling it around a little before drinking it.

" That's enough". I commanded Josh when he was about heading towards the retreating figure, Le,o and the other guy who spoke out for him.

The guy fell to the floor on his knees and rubbed his hands together bowing down sharply, even hitting his head on the floor. "I... I'm sorry, please spare me... Please". He pleaded. Then he looked towards Leo who was still dumbfounded with the situation. " He's the one who mishandled the lady".

Leo eyes widened, and he turned sharply to face his partner in crime. " How dare you turn on me..."

" You always turn on each other. " I interrupted staring at my glass. " That's how business wo,rks " I said with a small sigh, then I turned to look at ,Leo who immediately bowed.

"Apologize to the woman and leave". I said ,again looking at the lady dresses in almost no,thing shaking in fear, but not because of Leo, but fear of me.

Leo looked at the woman and she shook her head fiercely, her lips trembling"I... I don't need an apology, I'll just leave".

I snorted.

"What's your name? "I asked calmly.

"Gina sir, I mean boss". She said in a trembling tone.

"Ok Gina, what did you do to deserve such a beating from him?" I asked her gulping down the rest of the content and pouring another glass for myself.

Gina looked at Leo who shook his head at her, then she looked back at me. " I, em... I accidentally spilled his drink, but I didn't do it on purpose I swear, I just". She paused her eyes bringing out the fireworks.

I almost rolled my eyes at her. "Then you do deserve an apology, if he doesn't give it now, his fate would be no difference from his bodyguards".

Leo shook his head kneeling down while feeling helpless. "What? No, she said she doesn't..." he stopped talking looking at the woman who kept her head down. " Fine, I'll apologize. I'm..."

"Was I talking to you,?" I asked sweeping my eyes pass him coldly.

"But, but I thought..." I narrowed my ,eyes at him and he clasped his, mouth shut holding it with his hands.

Then I looked back at Gina. " So do you want him to apologize tyou o you, or do want him beaten up lile his bodyguards over there, your choice". I said with a small smile.

Ah... It's been long since I had this much fun with people. Ever since I came ba,ck to the country I haven't met such a lot of shameless people like I used to, tonight must be my lucky night.

Gin,a gulped nervously loo,king away from Leo who was glaring at her. " Er... He, he should apologize to me". She said at last.

"Good,ok. Now look at him, and ask, no, order him to apologize to you. After he has don,e that, he can leave and so can you". I said with a shrug and I saw Leo's mouth open wide.

" She... This is... " He stammered in shock.

" Boss, should I knock some sense into him so his speech would return? " Josh asked and he gasped,.

I shook my head enjoying the expression on everyone's face, but, it was getting late and Rachel was back at home.

" It's time to wrap this up ". I said standing up from my seat and shoving my hands into my pocket before looking at Gina.

" Which do you choose? I don't have much time in my hands ".

" Em... I er..." Gina looked at Leo and took a deep breath. " Apologize to me". She said in a stern and bold voice.

My lips hook up in an amused smirk.

Seems like the girl had more balls than I thought.

Her voice sounded so strong, almost like she was used to commanding people. I would have to do a thorough investigation on her later.

But the look on Leo's face, it was like he never thought the girl would just ask him that considering who he was in the country.

" You heard me, apologize!" She repeated louder and my smirk grew wider.

Leo face turned grim. "I'm sorry". He said in a low mutter.

" I didn't hear you". Gina said and I softly chuckled.

Yep, she was way too bold to just he a regular stripper.

He clenched his jaw tight, " I said, I'm sorry". He said with gritted teeth.

" This h,ave been fun, next time you'll think we'll before attacking just anyone". I said with a chuckle before picking up my phone on the table and heading out of the VIP section.

It's high time I faced Rachel again. Even if she wouldn't say anything, I just needed to check how she was doing.

If it was the kiss that made her to cry, I needed to know why.
