Chapter 95 Watching Rachel suffer

Lana's POV

I had no idea what happened and I badly needed to know.

Did Rachel break up with Ethan after seeing us together? If she did that would just be absolutely fantastic. I would finally have a chance with that handsome rich gentleman... And to think I had known him in highschool.

Rachel really played Ethan, toying with his memory loss and using it against him, but the jokes on her because now I was going to make sure that Ethan remembers every damn thing.

Or could it be that Ethan broke up with her after finding out that what I said was true?

Dargh... Curiosity was killing me that I hardly slept a wink last night after returning home from the bar, I was almost even kicked out of the bar.

The damn owner, that Kyle found out that I was in the bar and had his boxers throw me out, I had to quickly leave before getting even more embarrassed by him.

The guy had always liked Rachel and had been following hee about right from highschool, but she has only David in her eyes at that time so his efforts to woo her were fruitless.

He was also one of the first guys I liked who immediately left me for Rachel the moment he saw her... Rachel always manages to get the best guys but me? I wasn't even good enough to play second fiddle.

He must have found out that David left Rachel for me and that was probably the reason why he was mad at me.

Even when she didn't even give two fuck about his feelings, Kyle still loved her.

It was frustrating to think that I was the only one suffering but after what happened yesterday, seeing Rachel in tears like that, it gave me this satisfaction.

" Lana you got to get up from bed and do something meaningful with your life " I groaned saying to myself as I got up from the bed stretching my legs.

Staying in the Andrews mansion had its benefits, I get to live like a queen, which I was but I didn't really have the freedom I wanted and needed.

I would have to move out real soon and head back to my apartment, or I could just buy a bigger house? I had the money now.

I took my bath and got dressed before leaving my room and coming downstairs, I was about leaving when I saw just the person I had been thinking about.

"What the hell are you doing here?" I shouted in surprise.

What was she doing here? Could it be that she came all the way here to report what she saw at the bar?

What did she think would happen? That mum and dad would warn me and tell me to stay away from him?

Why was she not saying anything for fuck sake, her silence was killing me. " Can't you hear me or have you suddenly gone deaf? What the fuck are you doing here? " I asked again louder.

Or could it be that, that she came here to beg me to leave Ethan alone?

The thought of that made me burst into laughter. I would gladly say no to this.

" I know what your doing here. It's about Ethan Wright isn't it?" I asked and her expression gave me the answer I wanted.

It was about Ethan, but she wasn't looking all pleady like a person about to beg a woman to leave her man alone, so what was it about Ethan then?

I walked over to the chair opposite hers and sat on it.

" I'm right, am I not? How did you feel when you saw us together last night? " I taunted enjoying how her face contorted in pain and anger. "We were about to head over to a room when you suddenly appeared. Tsk tsk... If only you could have waited a few more minutes". I mocked.

Of course nothing like that happened, Ethan didn't even look at me like that even after being intoxicated. He only stared at me like I was so experiment he was handling or glared like he wanted to leave this place so bad, but as long as it made Rachel angry, I was willing to make up all sort of things.

Her expression just kept getting worse and from the corner of my eyes I could see the way she clenched her fists tight, so tight that her knuckles turned white.

Yes, she was really mad now.

"He was just so good, and kind and gentlemanly, I almost forgot my manners. I can't believe you wanted to keep Ethan Wright to yourself after everything you did to him back in highschool. "

Seriously though just how petty could she be? After everything she and Marina did to him back in highschool, and yet people though I was the wicked one.

She was taking advantage of his loss of memory and trying to make him fall for her, while I was trying to give him back his memories, maybe with some twists, and make him fall for me... If you thought about it that way, Rachel was the real enemy here.

I enjoyed watching Rachel internally suffer, and I was not ready for that suffering to end yet.

" And his ..." I wanted to say muscular arms but Rachel cut me off.

"No one wants to hear about you and your boyfriend's escapades. " She shouted and I blinked in shock.

Did she just call Ethan my boyfriend?

" My boyfriend? " I asked feeling surprised, just what the hell was Rachel thinking?

Rachel just pursed her lips. " I know everything. How you and Ethan planned everything, and I just say you indeed are a fantastic actress."

Me and Ethan? Planned something?

Just what... It was then I remembered something about Rachel, once she was sure about something, she wouldn't listen to anyone else words or explanations.

So when she saw Ethan and I together, she must had guessed that we had been dating behind her back and from the looks of things she didn't let that handsome man explain.

This is soo good.

I smiled, silently admitting it. "You finally got it. I guess last night was an eye opener to you huh?". I mocked and Rachel's emotion immediately changed.

She really believed it, ha!

This was perfect, not that Rachel completely believes that Ethan and I were together, she would cut all ties with Ethan and he would be a mine.

My hands unconsciously went to my stomach remembering the baby growing in there.

For the first time since I found out I was pregnant, I didn't hate the baby. From the look of things Rachel, thought that Ethan and I had been dating in secret for a long time... If I pinned the baby on him, she would immediately believe it to, fuck it would end their relationship forever!

She would never ever go back to him, she won't even let him explain, she might even kill herself. My lips pulled up in a smile. I was about opening my mouth to tell Rachel about the baby when she spoke up

"I guess you were not able to convince Ethan to invest and ally with the family's failing company huh? Well I'm here to do the job for you".

My smile disappeared completely, replaced with confusion.

Which job? Convince Ethan about what?

Failing Company? Andrew Corporation was failing? How was she going to help?

A bunch of questions popped into my head, one after the other. " What did you mean by..." Mother came in and she was with, David?!

" Convince Ethan? Who's convincing Ethan?"

My eyes went up to David who just looked away from me.

"Your daughter she's with Ethan ". I heard Rachel say and my eyes flew opened.

What the hell? Did she have to tell her?!
